My eyes focused on the catfish category on the wall. Oh before I forget its a "Cash Only" business . I had to look inside my wristlet to make sure I had money to pay for my meal. Some of the chalk writing was smeared . I learned the cook on duty when I visited was named Jacoby. He was average height thin he looked a little tired or maybe lacking some energy. He came to the counter to see if I was ready to place my order. I responded I was . I started out stating for me what I didn't want. On my 3pc catfish basket I did not want any hushpuppies or a slice of white bread cut in half or possibly toasted to be included. I didn't time Jacoby but its wasn't too long of a wait . I asked him if I could take pictures of the menu in case I wanted to stop by again if the food was good after my next appointment at the VA The food was smelling good nice and hot . My food was in a little paper basket inside a white paper bag . I grabbed a few napkins nearby. There was a tip jar in the counter . I left a couple of dollars as I picked up my order inside the white bag he had gently placed on the counter. Thank God for safe traveling grace and arriving mercies to my home . I stopped by QT on my way home to get a large frozen coke . Surprisedly the food was still pretty hot from my nineteen miles journey. I forgot to request my fish be fried hard paper on the side of the basket . I smelled it strongly from the moment I picked up my order from the counter. Fries were nestled under the three flaky crispy filets. The fries were soft kinda soggy but edible. I was able to eat this meal and enjoy for a couple of days .
