We checked this place out recently for dinner and had a good experience. They have a wide selection of menu items, so it was tough to narrow something down. I wanted to try everything! I settled for the Money Honey chicken sandwich. My wife tried the tenders, and my daughter tried the grilled cheese. We also tried the chicken dumplings. The food came out quick and hot. This isn't our first time at the Chicken Guy, we had gone before to the one in Disney Springs and loved it. When we found out that they opened one in Dallas we had to go. We had a really great time, chicken strips were as a good as ever, so were the fries and the sauce options are so good. The food was really good and I came in with high expectations. Obviously they met those expectations. Personally I thought the grilled chicken was better than the fried, but that is just preference. The tenders were just that, tender, no fat, and delicious. The Chocolate shake was good, but I would have preferred it not have Chocolate Chips in it. The Sauces were good too (we had the Nashville Hot, the Buffalo, and Brown Sugar Barbecue. As a huge Triple D and Guy Fieri fan I was very disappointed with the quality of their chicken, both my father and I agreed it resembles frozen Tyson chicken tenders from Walmart. It had no taste, the fry batter on it was so cheap and fake, like overpriced tenders you get at the state fair. The fries were so salty I had to rake them clean of salt every fry before eating. The sauces didn't really help either. The place was clean and the staff were friendly but that won't bring us back. In Dallas the market for chicken tenders is so saturated with great places like Laynes, Raising Canes, Chicken Express, and Slim Chicken, that I really can't see this place surviving when their product is that inferior. Not trying to be mean, just being honest.
