5 piece tenders, Mac and cheese, 2 sauces
    Bonnie W.

Chicken tenders- crunchy, moist, well seasoned. Sauce- had the garlic parmesean. Very yummy! Mac and cheese- good texture but had off putting taste Had some tenders leftover so I froze them and later had on a salad. They reheated perfectly, it was great! Will be back for the Chicken tenders and to try other sauces

It's okay. You would think Guy would offer something much better, since he has traveled the country and experiences some of the USA's best foods. Not worth a try.

Food is super hot and freshly fried! Fast, friendly service. They have a ton of sauces to try. We loved all of them. Everything is very seasoned too, no bland chicken here!

I'm a big Guy Fieri fan so hearing this was his restaurant I had high expectations. I got the spicy tenders and fries. The tenders were nothing special and I didnt really care for them. The fries were seasoned and delicious. I like the fact they have lots of different sauces for the tenders to choose from. This was just okay for me and not something I have to eat again.

The service was ok. The restaurant is clean. The food tasted awful! No seasoned or taste. The drink options are also not good. The dipping sauce was not good. I love fries and even the fried were awful not fresh. I would never recommend this place or return. The price is also ridiculous for bland food.

Just tried Chicken Guy at Preston Hollow Village in Dallas, and I am seriously impressed! From the moment we walked in, the vibes were welcoming, and the team was on point. We were helped by Francisco, who was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and made sure our food came out quickly and hot. He went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. Another team member even came by shortly after we got our food to check in . that level of service really stood out. Now let's talk food....SO good. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. I got the chicken skewers with a couple of sauces (Donkey Sauce & Honey Mustard both ), and the chicken sandwich + fries was chef's kiss. They've also have: * Tons of indoor and outdoor seating * A fun play area for kids (family-friendly win!) * Super clean and inviting atmosphere If you haven't checked out Chicken Guy yet, do it! You'll leave full, happy, and already planning your next visit. We definitely are.

We stopped by on a Saturday early evening or a family dinner with friends. Possibly one of the best causal family spots in all of Dallas! The staff is super friendly and took amazing care of our family. We got kids meals (tenders) and a 4 piece tender meal. Of course we followed that up with shakes for the kids. The food was great. The service was outstanding. And the ambiance was amazing. Beautiful patio with games for the kids. The spot is kept clean and did I mention how amazing their staff is? Kris, the owner, personally greeted us and made sure we had a good experience. But the best part was his team. They were on top of things and made sure to check on us multiple times during our meal. We met a couple of other family's and it was a perfect patio hang. The kids wandered between the outdoor play area and the arcade games. The food itself was delicious. They've got a simple menu of tenders and sandwiches along with fries and mac and cheese. Highly recommend checking out this spot and don't forget to try all the dipping sauces. The place was so good that my 9 year old wanted to make sure his review made it to this review as well. So here goes. Unedited thoughts from a 9 year old aspiring Yelpie: The food was so delicious, the kids played in the small area with fun outdoor games. Chicken guy had an area where the kids played old 1900s games such as mortal combat, retro golf and NBA basketball games. Chicken guy had some really good stuff for your family to enjoy over all we had a great time there [LOL on the 1900s games. This kid thinks I grew up in the 1900s]

We checked this place out recently for dinner and had a good experience. They have a wide selection of menu items, so it was tough to narrow something down. I wanted to try everything! I settled for the Money Honey chicken sandwich. My wife tried the tenders, and my daughter tried the grilled cheese. We also tried the chicken dumplings. The food came out quick and hot. Everything had great flavor. My wife also tried a chocolate shake which was tasty. They have plenty of seating inside and outside on the patio. There are some arcade games inside and some lawn games on the patio as well. There was live music playing when we went which was great. The staff were friendly and informative. We will definitely be back to try more menu items.

PERFECT place for a quick meal! We stopped in to check it about before bouldering last week and were only planning on grabbing some tenders and 2 sauces to go but ended up sitting down and trying 8 sauces instead! I assumed the tenders would be good- but I was shocked by how unmatched these things are. Everything from the breading to the quality of the chicken itself- phenomenal. Even the fries were standout because they were seasoned to perfection. I wish I could give a sauce recommendation but we genuinely could not pick even a favorite because they were all THAT good. I love ranch and I love Dill, and their ranch is very dill-forward so I kept going back to that. But the Honey Mustard, Barbecue, and Special Sauce were all top picks for me as well. The service here is unmatched. We were indecisive and Hector, the cashier, walked us through the most popular items and sauces. He gave recommendations, asked us about our spice tolerances, and what kind of flavor profiles we liked. Once ordered, one of the owners came by (Chris) and asked us about our meal and brought us more sauces to try. He couldn't have been nicer and told us some history on the place and taught us a bit on how they got started! For a fast-casual type restaurant, this place has better decorum than most dine-in restaurants! If I lived in Dallas I would go here wayyyy too often.

Inside (yes this employee's visor includes hair like Guy Fieri!!! )

Let's start with the chicken. I believe Guy utilized his foodie experiences and master culinary skillet to come up with some VERY delicious chicken. I really don't know how to explain what the breading is like but this chicken impressed us! The seasoning on the French fries were a hit for my husband but I thought they were on the sweeter side, perhaps a bit like fries from Bojangles? Fresh and hot nonetheless. Lastly, I went ahead and tried their limited time shake flavor, a strawberry shake with Oreos, and it just didn't do it for me. Full stars provided for the unique menu selections, varied sauce selections, clean space, and friendly staff. The employee's visor in the picture include the blonde hair, which mimics Guy Fieri! I love it! Will be back soon.

Fantastic chicken tenders! We ordered tenders and the fried chicken dumplings. The fried chicken dumplings were fantastic! It was fried chicken with some dumplings ingredients inside the chicken! I've never had that before and it was very tasty to me. If you like dumplings you should try this. The chicken tenders were flavored really well. They have so many sauces to choose from. My fave were the Nashville hot honey and the buttermilk ranch. I'm def coming back there.

The chicken sandwich is good, I liked the sauce varieties it just wasn't spicy enough. This place is overpriced though but the shake was worth it.

This isn't our first time at the Chicken Guy, we had gone before to the one in Disney Springs and loved it. When we found out that they opened one in Dallas we had to go. We had a really great time, chicken strips were as a good as ever, so were the fries and the sauce options are so good. The staff was really kind and super helpful, even gave us a sample of their new apple flavored shake (which was also good I might add). Really loved the location in the shopping center and it wasn't too busy at lunchtime on a Saturday, plenty of seating and even some arcade games inside and yard games outside. Really enjoyed our time and we will definitely be back!

The neighborhood may continue to change around it, but Chip's remains the same. My Overall Rating - 4 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere - Chip's has an old school, nostalgic feel. The restaurant has an iconic sloping roof with a yellow outdoor exterior and a big green sign with its logo. Inside, there are plenty of booths, a bar, and even outdoor seating. Chip's has grown and expanded over the years but to me that adds to the nostalgic charm. 1 Star. Service - Chip's may have invented counter service. Upon entering, you look at the menu posted on the wall and place your order. You'll get a number (or they'll ask for your name), and you grab a table, and when your food is ready it comes out. Fast, efficient, and the staff was super friendly. 1 Star. Food - Chip's is known for its poppy seed hamburger buns. While it's pretty and tasty, the most important part, the patty, is pretty average. Honestly, there are many other great burger joints in Dallas. On the other hand, the fried onion strings are a must order for your side. While I wasn't a fan of the burger, the fried onion strings saved my meal. The Oreo and Fresh Banana shakes were also a nice cold, creamy, sweet ending to my meal. 1 Star. Will I Return? - Yes. I hope Chip's never changes. The restaurant has an iconic look, it's part of Dallas history, and the staff is great. 1 Star.

Just straight up classic counter service and I was happy for it. The reason I take off one star is because I ordered the turkey burger, but when the chef brought it out he said "here's your chicken burger". So I'm not actually sure what I ate, but I'm also okay with that. It's kinda like a pick your path you know? Anyway I'd definitely go back. Super tasty and the bun was great. The fries were great. The fried pickles were great. Just vibes and love.

We ordered the fried mushrooms to start, and they were so hot that one of us severely burned her lower gums on them. Seriously! A prescription from the dentist was sought; mea culpa but damn. Once they were less volcanic, they were good. We split a burger with fried onions, and it was dry. The meat was overbooked, the bun was over toasted, and the whole thing needed plenty of beer to go down smoothly. The fries are fine, and we did appreciate that they had some steamed broccoli on the menu. Our daughter was happy with her kids cheeseburger meal, and she did like the chocolate-caramel malt shake she scored at the end. A main reason that we're landing on three stars is the ice cream situation. One of us ordered a soft serve vanilla, and nobody told her that the machine was down, so what she got instead was a cup of half melted Blue Bell soup...are you kidding! Thanks for the prompt refund, but letting your customer know what the situation is in advance goes a long way. So, we tried it. Add a notch to the Dallas belt. We wish them well, but we won't be returning. There are better burgers in DFW.
