I was their first participant and Ms. Nikki made me feel so welcomed. I love how the bookshelves are arranged with the new books in front and as you walk through the building they're sectioned off with various fiction, sci-fi, nonfiction, children's, religion, and suspense books. Plus they have a sign that tells you the prices for used hardback and paperback books. The new books are pricier but I know they're worth it at least for me. This was a real treat to check out.

Good Books in the Woods in a used bookstore in a house in The Woodlands. Watch your step as you explore because several time I stepped off a small step too hard because I was looking around in awe and not watching where I was walking. There are so many options to choose from (fiction, art, and you can literally spend hours walking around through every nook and cranny. We met the owners and they were so nice! They will gladly tell you about the store and even give you recommendations. These are used books so they are priced lower than regular books. For parking, it is street parking so you may have to walk a bit. Shoutout to their welcome sign "We couldn't be more open"!

My daughter and I walked into this book store on a weekday, looking for a couple books (children's…read morebooks) and they had it all. In the children section is labeled specifically, Disney, tv/movies and so forth. Everything else in the store is labeled the same and accurate for the most part. There's also a couple chairs and seats as well as a table if you have a need for that and not to mention they have restrooms in the back. As far as service, nobody really stood out or greeted us, I guess we were just busy looking for our books to notice. As far as pricing, it may very well be half price books, but some books seem a bit pricy. They have very old beat up books that go for the same price as newer gentler used books so not always fairly priced I'd say.

It was incredibly crowded and the books being sold kept piling up. I could tell the employees were overwhelmed, but despite their stress they were still kind to me. They didn't make me feel like a burden for adding to their workload and they were honest about how long it would likely take. I ended up waiting in the store for around 2 hours (which is the longest I've ever waited to sell my books). However, the store is huge and there are so many things to look at! I ended up finding a gift for my brother and a birthday card for my mom! And then, when they called me back they offered me around $45 for all my books! If you've ever sold books or clothes to thrift stores or Half Price Books, you know that's a great offer (especially because I only brought in a box). I brought in a lot of popular books in near perfect condition, as well as a few educational reads from a physics class I took in college. All in all, I love Half Price Books! There are always so many awesome books and items to discover on the shelves, especially at this location. If you're looking for your next favorite book, to sell your old books, a copy of something for school, a new board game, a record, or so many things in between, I would highly recommend Half Price Books!

Whenever I travel for work, I make it a point to stop by a local bookstore. Over the weekend I…read morevisited Becker's Books and it was exactly the kind of place I hope to find on the road. The shop was well organized and absolutely packed with books, one of those places where every shelf feels like it holds a new discovery. The owner was friendly and genuinely helpful, even pointing me in the right direction for locomotive books I was hoping to find. I easily could have spent the entire day browsing, but unfortunately work was calling. If you're a book lover and find yourself nearby, Becker's Books is definitely worth the stop.
