The employee at the front pulled out an entire box of them, which made it seem like they were available for purchase. When I asked to buy one, he told me, "I have to ask the owner and see if I can." I stood there waiting for several minutes while he supposedly waited for a response from the owner, but nothing ever happened. Since I never got an answer, I decided to come back the next day. This time, a different cashier simply told me they didn't have any booster boxes in stock. It was confusing because I had literally seen a full box of them the night before. Whether they weren't actually for sale or there was some other reason, I would have appreciated an honest explanation instead of being left waiting and then being told they weren't in stock the next day. Better communication and transparency would have made for a much better customer experience.

This place didn't make us feel weird or awkward. They're very kind and are happy to help you with questions about the game or cards you're looking for. I was highly impressed with the variety of boosters they had, and their case had some incredible singles (sadly I'll never afford most). The only thing I missed is being able to comb through singles myself. Here they have them in the back and you need to know ahead of time what you're looking for. Other than that, no complaints and we will definitely be back!

I had a very disappointing experience at this Michael's…read more When I asked to use a cashier instead of self-checkout, I was told it was "corporate policy" to make customers use self-checkout. I don't work at Michael's, and I don't believe customers should be required to ring up their own purchases if they prefer a cashier. The interaction with the employee became unprofessional. She told me she only makes $11 an hour and doesn't get paid enough to deal with customers. When I explained that wasn't my responsibility and that I simply wanted to check out with a cashier, she asked me, "Are you lazy, or do you just not know how to do it?" She also said she didn't care if I never came back to that location. To make matters worse, I heard her yelling at her child in the store, which created an uncomfortable atmosphere. This wasn't the first time I've witnessed that. Beyond the customer service, the store itself appeared dirty, poorly maintained, and understocked compared to other Michael's locations. I left feeling disrespected and unwelcome. I'll gladly drive across town to shop at another Michael's rather than return to this location. I hope management addresses both the customer service issues and the overall condition of the store.
