They did not answer, so I left a message with their answering service. I never spoke to anyone. There was no confirmation, no scheduled time, nothing agreed upon. Early in the morning, they just showed up to my house. Unannounced. Uninvited. No conversation. No appointment. This is now the second time this has happened, and with the same technician I already had an issue with before. At this point, this is not a mistake, this is clearly how they operate. Let me make this very clear since they seem confused about basic business practices. Calling a company does not give you permission to show up to someone's home. Leaving a message does not mean "come whenever you feel like it." If we did not speak and agree on a time, there is no appointment. You are not entitled to show up to my home. The technician stood there arguing with me saying he called multiple times, so it was okay to come anyway. No, it is not. That is not professionalism; that is entitlement. It got worse when I called the manager, Donnie. He was rude, dismissive, and actually laughed while I was explaining the situation. I asked for the owner, and his response was "good luck, he's only here once a month." That alone tells you everything about how this company is run. A manager laughing at a customer for feeling uncomfortable and unsafe is completely unacceptable. Then he doubled down and said, "Ma'am, this is what we do, we show up to your house whether you like it or not. If you call us, that means you want us to come, and we bill you." That is not business. That is crossing the line. You do not bill people for services they did not schedule. You do not show up to private residences without permission. You do not decide on your own when you are coming to someone's home. You don't know if someone is home. You don't know what they are doing. You don't know if it's a bad time, a personal situation, or if someone simply does not want anyone there. That boundary matters, and this company completely ignores it. In today's world, this kind of behavior is not just unprofessional; it is concerning. Showing up to someone's home unannounced and then arguing about it is completely out of line. No respect. This place was recommended by my landlord after we started noticing a bunch of silverfish-like bugs popping up as the weather warmed up. I killed at least 20 in one morning. A real stand up guy named Nema came and did an inspection of our trouble area & over the course of another week came back again per our management's request. I have been using these guys for YEARS. I even use them at my professional office. They show up on time, they are always polite and pleasant, and I never have any lingering or untreated issues. I have a large pool and live on the outskirts a bit, so scorpions are plentiful out here as are cockroaches. Southern Nevada keeps them at bay and I never have an issue. If I notice a scorpion, they come out right away. Scheduling is easy, the cost is fair and comparable, and the people who run the company are attentive and just good people. Also, service is quick but thorough. I don't want a stranger hanging around my house longer than necessary even if they are pleasant. These guys do a good job and get in and out. I've been having issues with SILVERFISH. I've seen 15-20 silverfish about the place which is Very unusual as silverfish don't like light. Seeing That many silverfish is a great indication of an *INFESTATION* but they still REFUSED to come out, blaming covid19 -- even AFTER people have been allowed to go dine in at restaurants with NO masks and such. Makes ZERO sense. When they finally did come out today, the pest person who was here made sure to mention "cdc guidelines" as if they're enforced, Mandatory Rules, Laws and Regulations. It's a fucking *GUIDELINE*. If people are seeing THAT many Silverfish EVERYWHERE, and a company is being PAID via contractual agreement and has Continued to get PAID during the time of covid19 then they should DO their damn JOB as PEST CONTROL and SPRAY the property ! I also had to make sure the pest control person who finally came out ACTUALLY sprayed ALL bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, pantry, laundry room, walk-in closets, patio, etc as he was rushing and barley sprayed the living room before being called to Hurry up to his next job. He would've only sprayed two areas if I didn't speak up and say "did you spray in here?" I tried Southern Nevada Pest Control for a few months and the service was inconsistent. I was impressed by the great power spray job that KC did. He was the best technician, took his time and sprayed through all the crevices on my side retaining wall and the first couple feet of height of my surrounding block wall. The next two technicians were not very good. They were both in a rush. The one who came over the second month almost tripped on my landscape gravel because he was walking really fast on it. He also kicked one of my landscape lights out of position. The one who came over during the third month talked at the speed of an auctioneer and was going as fast as he could. I liked the effectiveness of the power spray (especially during the first month with KC), but I got the sense my property wasn't being respected much by the younger technicians. The power spray is only worth it if the technician is going to be thorough. Response to Owner: It was not explained to me that more time is spent on clean out sprays during the initial visit. Just a piece of advice - you should mention this to customers during their first visit. Communication is key to the management of customer expectations. Nevertheless, spending less time during subsequent visits does not give a technician license to run around the gravel almost falling and carelessly knocking over a landscape light. The first technician sprayed all two foot high planters and the first two feet of all block walls (after I expressed concern about those areas because scorpions and roaches are constantly found there in the brick cracks and crevices). If it is indeed a state regulation, that needs to also be communicated to me and the first technician should have refused to do areas where it is not legal. Those email communications didn't occur until the third month - way after the fact. My point is this should be communicated prior to the initial visit. It is kind of contradictory if you think its ok to do it the first visit but it is wrong to do it on other visits (harmful runoff can occur from non-porous surfaces regardless of when the pesticide is applied, no?). Also, it is inaccurate to suggest that I wanted "every square inch of my property" covered. And it is flat out wrong that I ever asked for the driveway or any concrete floor surfaces to be sprayed. The concrete walkways on the side of the house and concrete walkway leading to my door were sprayed without me even asking. Looks like your technicians are the one's "willing to look the other way upon laws/product label recommendations" and not me! read more

The one concern we had was that we have two cats, but Donny reassured me that the spray they use is pet friendly. I have terminated their services now, I had been a customer with Southern Nevada Pest Control for several years. However, recently I was told by the managers of the company that, "I was taking advantage of them" when I asked them to spray in between the month, something they advertise they do when you sign up with their company. I had an infestation of several bugs and I was looking for help but the managers stated they only "manage" and that they "were not making money of me" by comping out to spray additionally. I was very disappointed with these responses. While speaking to them their only answer was that "it wasn't working out between us" and I could find another company. So for future clients if you happen to get an infestation or have bug issues and require additional support the company will state you're taking advantage of them. My apartment was inspected by today by a member of the Southern Nevada pest control. The guy was looking in my bedroom for pests. My bedroom has a dresser and two night stands. Plus a closet. My husbands clothes on one side mine on the other. First he checked my bed. Nothing. He was on my husbands side of the room. Didnt go into his dresser. Then he went to my side of the room and started going thru my underware drawer. My husband asked him what in the f. Are you doing. Get out of my wifes underware. He replied I am looking for bugs. Funny thing is he doesnt check any other drawers. My comment is what kinda of freak do you people hire going thru peoples underware and not check what they should be checking. You must hire perverts. I've been using their service since June, 2016, and to this date I continue to have immense problems with pests, especially ants, but also those things smaller than ants that are very annoying. Nothing goes away. I live in the PEST Godforsaken hell. I just encountered a MASSIVE ant nest in my commonly used Greenhouse only one day after these guys came out to do their service on our property. This problem is consistent. I have no complaint about the customer service, cuz they're very polite and considerate with us, but that doesn't solve the pest problem. I'm very confused right now, because I thought I could count on someone to take care of our problem, but it's just not happening. My life is hell because of this. This company is totally untrustworthy! Previously I had received excellent service from their service man Jim. He was the best! He became ill and they sent a young inexperienced boy to take his place. He hit and missed sprayed and did a half hazzard job! Unlike before he didn't do all of yard, didn't spray around base of house, the garage or inside at all...and was afraid of the rat traps he set for a pest that came from the canyon due to trees. I had told him, on what was to be our last service not to come again...and called the office and left message to stop my service. Instead he came when I am at work and tells my disabled husband who has dementia that he was to service..again a had done a terrible job!! I called the office again..they said they were sorry and they would stop service. My husband was hospitalized about a month later and they "SAY" they came again..believe it or not they have the nerve to bill me. "Dennis" was our guy for our duration with SNPC. Really nice guy. He always called a day before he was coming and always called the day of to let us know he was on his way. We has a mild roach problem in the garage area. Dennis would come in once a month and spray the exterior perimeter of the house as well as the backyard area. He also put sticky traps underneath the small crevices where the garage door would close. This would trap any potential bugs that might try to sneak through. We had not one single bug in our garage since he began spraying. Unfortunately we had to cancel our services only because we moved from house to apartment complex so we no longer need their SNPC. But $32 per month for their services was well worth it. read more

We have used So. Nevada Pest Control since Sept. 2012 as they were referred to us by the landscaping company that did our backyard. They always call us the day before they come as a courtesy call which is nice in case you have any issues with bugs,etc. The same person comes each time and they are very good employees. I have never had such a horrible experience with a business! They never came inside to spray they only ever did outside. They called maybe once in the past 6 months to let me know they were coming. Then my husband called them on Thursday to tell them this and to request that they come and spray inside the house. The gentlemen who answered the phone said he would get back to him that day with the person that was coming to spray. It is now Monday and no call back! Horrible customer service! Technician from Southern Nevada Pest Control came out to spray initially. I told them when I made the appt. it would be a one time service. Our particular pests were ants (which we haven't seen for five years). He didn't explain anything about the chemicals being used and he was done in 15min. I asked him if I were to see ants again if the work was gauranteed. He said it was and just to call the office if the ants came back. Well exactly three days later and my kitchen counters were crawling with ants again! I called the office and they said they would send a tech out again but only if I went with a contract with them for a minimum of SIX MONTHS! If not, I would have to pay more for them to solve the problem they were initially hired to do! I was told the tech mis-spoke because he thought I was going to do a contract when I specifically made it clear on the phone it was a one time spray. I am not a happy customer! read more
