When I mentioned the previous repair cost and the cost of the necklace (wanting to make sure it was appropriately appraised), he said the repair cost was $48. When I asked if he could help me understand why he'd triple his price for such a small repair, he said, "Maybe we used the laser." When I asked what that meant and if that would be the case if the same thing were to happen again, he said, "Cash or card?" I felt dismissed and taken advantage of. I recommend going somewhere else, especially if you are a young woman.

The customer service there is awesome! Everyone is super friendly and very personable. They walked me through the process and helped me pick out the materials and jewel for the new one. They also kept me up to date via text and email throughout the entire workings of the ring. End result? A beautiful job helping me create a slightly different but very similar version of my mother's ring. And when it came to the final fitting, it slid on like a glove. When I showed him verification of the price of the ring I wanted at a reputable jeweler downtown, he berated me that the other store was too cheap and not as high quality as them. Not exactly the service and demeanor you'd like to receive when spending a large sum of money. On the contrary, the jeweler downtown gave me a complimentary dinner at Soto and happy hour at Nada for my business - along with a premium ring. They've been speedy quick with quality repairs both times. I've also found their prices to be very reasonable. Recently, one of my small side diamonds fell out on vacation, and Diamonds Rock was able to fix and tune up my ring in just a few days. They also charged me less than originally quoted! I can't remember his name, but there's a guy who is always there and he is very friendly and patient, especially considering my husband is very particular about my rings. Diamonds Rock will continue to be our first stop for my ring repair and future jewelry needs!
