The utility came and cleaned out the sewer main, blockage solved. In the process she discovered that our sewer clean out valve was buried about a foot down in our yard. She dug that out and placed a valve cover on it so we know where it is now (huge relief!). Kimberly was excellent and left everything in the house and yard clean, neat, and tidy. He attempted to fix it, said it was repaired, and then left our home. Before leaving, he also gave us written instructions on what to do if the water heater started leaking again. About 13 minutes after he left, the entire unit began leaking heavily and flooded our laundry room and garage. A technician should never leave a home with a newly installed unit that was already leaking during installation. If the unit was defective, it should have been replaced or shut off before leaving. The flooding required professional remediation and repairs. The company's insurance carrier ultimately accepted liability and paid for the damage, but the situation should never have happened in the first place. We also requested installation documentation during the claim process and had difficulty obtaining it. Very disappointing experience.

I thought it could be something quickly fixed, but it turned out that the entire unit needed replacing. They were able to get out the very next day in the morning. The plumber, Austin was very nice and thorough. He was great at explaining his recommendations and the differences in the brands. He also was knowledgeable about the various warranties for the tankless water heaters as well as his service. I found him to be friendly and timely. He also provided great communication in regards to when he could obtain the recommended tankless water heater and when he would be out to install it the next day. Overall, I'm very satisfied with their service and my interaction with Austin. He was very helpful in helping me move some items. He also left the work area cleaned and disposed of the old water heater. The old water heater installation was very unorganized so he did put the pipes and everything back on the wall and left them better than they were before. It took him about two hours to install the new tankless water heater.
