One never followed up with any proposals, etc. Another came and listened to what we wanted, but required a Large deposit and a signed contract before providing any renderings. They did give me a ballpark price which was Way out of our budget. The representative from CDW listened to what we wanted to do. He also took extensive measurements inside and outside of the house. He said CDW would provide computer renderings within 2 weeks. No deposit required. He also asked about our budget for the project. We liked what we saw on the computer renderings. We had CDW adjust the size of the space down a little from the original drawings and the price reached our budget. We hired them for the job at this point. We are very happy with how the project went. All the subcontractors showed up when promised and on time. They all did very nice work. the carpenter team was outstanding at problem solving any issues that came up adding a new addition onto an old farmhouse. We did make a few changes to the original plan and CDW was very accommodating. The communication between their office staff and us was outstanding. We couldn't ask for a nicer finished project or a better company to work with. We would definitely hire them again in the future.

There was a small gap between ceiling (ceilings fault ... it slants) and top of cabinet which was actually not CDW's fault (Home Depot did not add scribe molding to original estimate) and Dale called me back immediately to explain problem and offer a solution. I appreciate solutions and not excuses! I would definitely feel comfortable referring to my friends and family based on my experience.

I had beautiful cabinets, and now they are wearing from water damage and everything living. I called Creative Cabinets to ask how to fix the cabinets below the kitchen sink and holding the trash and recycleables. The lady said she needs to talk to the manager and will call me. I haven't heard from them. (I will do a follow up to my rating if I do.) Let's rate these cabinets functionality and durability: 1. The cabinets are made with a soft painted wood which damages and clips easily when bumped. 2. The cabinets are sprayed painted thus difficult to match colors and fix by yourself. You need a professional. 3. Lastly and most importantly, the cabinets get damaged if they are near sinks, trash, and cooking areas. The paint peels, bubbles, and chips. Oak cabinets which were common 20 years ago are much better investment than the newer, modern cabinets.

There was almost no mess to clean up inside. The final product looks fantastic. I love the windows, I love the the way the installation of the windows appear, and I'm satisfied that I've received a quality job. The showroom looked nice and promising until we noticed no one was on the floor. We walked around and waited for around 20-30 minutes, chatting and looking at options on our own. We weren't trying to be quiet because we'd hoped someone would eventually notice us. When someone finally did notice, he sat us down and tried to schedule a walkthrough of where we'd need the floor. When we told him we just wanted advice on floor options, he insisted they needed to come to our house with a group of people to check it out first no matter what. We explained we didn't need that, but he kept insisting he needed to visit our home. We didn't appreciate how pushy he was and how unheard we felt so we left.

Throughout the six week process of picking out materials, ordering them, and install, Gerald (manager) and Jimmy (owner) were fantastic! In fact, they were so hands on, that the owner even did the majority of install himself. But what really stuck out to us, was when they ran into more damage to the subfloor than anticipated, they did not take that as an opportunity to charge us more, and instead stuck to the original estimate, despite the extra labor. They also were flexible and happily agreed to a few minor cosmetic changes that I suggested during install. The project was done perfectly, and exactly on time. We will definitely use them again for our next project!

My mother is a widow over 70 and she contracted with Bancroft Granite & Marble to do a $15,000…read morerenovation in my home. She was notified that the work was complete but when she arrived to look at it, there was building scraps and trash everywhere incluiding pieces of cut trim, stove wrapping, tools, etc. There was dirt everywhere and none of the new counters had even been wiped. They had failed to obtain the proper electrical permits to do the work. I paid $1600.00 for a custom built storage island which appeared to be pre-manufactured made from particle board --certainly not a custom built piece. They failed to install quarter round on the newly tiled floor leaving a visbable gap between the tiles and the baseboards. They installed a shelving unit but the wood did not quite fit to cover the area. When she asked habout this, she was told that they used scrap wood and that was all he had. When she notified Jim of her concerns, he cursed her and my brother out and said he was finished. She contracted with Jim in Match of 2017. He was contacted and requested to complete and finalize the job. She has not heard anything from him since May 2017. The work remains incomplete as of July 2017. I absolutely do NOT recommend using this company for any renovation or work. My mother was looking forward to moving back into her home after being away for several years. She is still unable to use the kitchen and move into her house. This company does not stand by their work; does not do a quality job; is not concerned with customer service or satisfaction.
