If not wanted I'd select the Organic Pedicure $50. The space was comfortable, clean, and actively managed with more than a dozen chairs for foot treatments available. Beware. Poor quality work and even worse customer service. My daughter had her nails filled, and within 30 minutes of leaving, one nail fell off. [[HIGHLIGHT]]She called the salon and was told they could fix it within 7 days, but she had prior commitments (rush) and couldn't return right away.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] By the next day, three more nails had fallen off. [[HIGHLIGHT]]She called again to explain the situation, but the response was the same--no accommodation beyond their 7-day policy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] She had commitments from 6:30-8:30 p.m., making it impossible to come back during that time frame. We had already been warned about this salon, and unfortunately, now we understand why. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The customer service was somehow even worse than the quality of the work.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I asked if a gift card could be issued so she could come back when her schedule allowed, but they refused and only offered to fix the broken nails within their policy window.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Who wants to walk around with four missing nails for a week during rush?[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] More importantly, how does a salon not recognize that four nails falling off within 24 hours is a serious issue? So my friend and I get our nails done every month since Thanksgiving time 2022. We go to this salon. I got special Christmas nails, valentines nails and St. Patrick's Day nails now. Usually it goes pretty well. But this time I had to go back after 1 day (a nail cracked for no reason whatsoever). I had my nails done on Friday the third and it chipped on Saturday, 4 March 2023. I had to wait until Monday to return and get it fixed. So then, after a week others chipped again. So I changed from French manicure with a Shamrock on one finger to all green glitter nails. So then on March 3rd, I got the green glitter put on all of my fingernails (in the dip)... the next day my nail cracked. I should say the nail polish cracked. It was a Saturday I knew it would be busy so we went back on Monday. A lady fixed the one finger for me So only seven days went by and two more fingers cracked and then another. Today is the 10th day and it's March 14, 2023. I had to get four nails redone because they are cracked and chipped. Something is not right. Another lady did it this time and it seemed that the last person missed a step? They made me pay $10 more dollars after I paid $55 only 10 days ago. I also had to pay five dollars for soak to get the other ones removed a week ago. I think we'll be looking for a new place so they are losing two people every month now because of this, but I thought people should know. I paid the $10 plus I gave the girl a tip today because I felt that I wanted my nails to be right because I had them green for a reason for St. Patrick's Day. I just don't think they should've charged me another $10 after I've been back twice already in the last 10 days. read more

I have been coming to Nail creations for a few years since moving here to Waco. Today is the day I chose to take my business elsewhere, sadly. I usually get my nails done by Tara but she had been on maternity leave and today I walked in for a full set and a mani for my daughter. I was happy to see Tara back although she was with a customer so I approached the counter and asked if I could make an appointment with Tara. My daughter was seated but I went to the front desk and asked for an appointment with Tara and the manager guy was like who!? I'm like.. Tara? (It's his wife btw) He's like who? I repeated myself. I thought I was saying it wrong so I pointed at her. He then realized who I was talking about and was like OH NO we don't make appointments. (I've done appointments before, I think weekends are the only days you can't). I said ok??? So then what? Do I wait for her to be done? He's like... well it's gonna be an hour and a half. I said ok, I can come back. He proceeded to ignored me, walked to the register. Obviously they don't care about their customers, since I was basically denied service. literally the most frustrating nail experience I've had in my entire life. I was sitting jn the chair for 20 minutes before they moved me to a completely different chair and made me wait some more. I still cannot get over the way this guy smelled and how he was so unhygienic and unprofessional. [[HIGHLIGHT]]He also kept on complaining about how busy they were and that he "doesn't care what anybody thinks" and repeatedly hung up on other costomers while he was working.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Never again. I was not being rude at all & even apologized for the amt of times I asked for them shorter. After cutting 3 nails, around 6:10 pm she just gets up. The guy at the front then comes up to me & tells me "she doesn't feel confident doing your nails & we don't have anyone available to do them", basically telling me to leave...almost an hour before close. They didn't ask me to wait on anyone to become available or anything..just brought over a bowl of acetone to soak off the nails that were already glued on. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I have noticed the techs get a little agitated when you speak up abt what you want/say you don't like something.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] But this is the first place that basically told me to leave. I work a customer service job so I know what it's like to have customers be rude so I would never. UPDATE: after 5 days 6 of my nails are either cracked or chipped. I don't do too much manual labor, so I'm kind of dissatisfied by the lack of durability. I haven't had my nails done professionally in a while, the sanitation issues in some places gave me the heebie jeebies so I kept my distance. I desperately wanted a pedicure so I spent some time looking for places online. I found The Nail Creations on Tiktok of all places! When I arrived I was promptly greeted and offered something to drink. I decided on a gel pedi and a dip manicure. They have a lot of options for dip and regular gel polish. I opted for one of the glow in the dark options. The manicure and pedicure were both done thoroughly and professionally. There wasn't any excess drilling and the nail techs were very friendly. The best part! Everything is so clean! The pedicure bowl was lined, the pedicure jets can be removed and cleaned, and the tools were opened right in front of me! I find comfort in knowing that I'm not being unnecessarily exposed to infection from tools used immediately on someone else. I would probably return even if the service were just ok for the sanitation alone. They do use the cheese grater / foot rasp, which I don't care for, but that's too easy to decline. I came in with long nails and the request to keep them long and the almond shape - Kevin did not listen to me, he clipped my nails down and then asked if I wanted to put tips on them for length... no. The color looks like what morticians use, but truly the least of the issues with this service. If you're going to charge $5 for a "special shape", you should be sure that you know the difference between oval and almond as well as short vs long. I have brought my mother, grandma and grandpa here for pedicures and the ladies do a great job, I thought I'd give the nail side a chance. And that's the last time. I was unhappy with the nails I selected, I wanted ombre, they were not, but after 3 tries I just wanted to leave. Worst part is the color I pointed to as a "go-by" for a fleshy pink was glow in the dark! I was actually amused by this when I realized that night, but also knew there was no way I could keep them and returned first thing in the morning. I explained the confusion and asked to take them off and do a pink and white ombre like I originally wanted. I was met with defensiveness and attitude! They offered to just paint over, I said no, I want them replaced. He then told me I picked the color so it's my fault, they seemed to have NO desire to change and wanted me to just keep. I was floored. At no point did I ask for a refund, demand they fix for free, and had already agreed to pay the day before (even though the girl did not give me ombre that I asked for). I reminded him of all this and he told me I could wait 1.5 hours to replace my nails, but maybe they would make me wait later. I declined and told him their response was not very professional nor in line with good service I would pay again for. I never even asked for them to fix for free, I never wanted free nails, but good service. Hopefully this spares someone else! I did find Lux nails and they did great ombre set, drama free! read more
