Thursday, 2-19-2025: I was referred to this office by my PCM to address a health issue. I forgot my phone in the car so I was unable to take photos but I have a follow up in April. The office is on the second floor and the waiting area was tidy & wasn't too big but there was comfortable seating and a TV. I checked in and the receptionist was very sweet & asked me to take a seat. I saw PA Lisa and she was very friendly and helpful. We discussed my issue and she had labs ordered and a scan. This was a very pleasant first visit and I look forward to returning. read more

Care quality is sub par. If you are young, I highly recommend in shopping for a different practice to seek rheumatology care. The doctor I saw at this practice made implication of what my diagnosis is and said they couldn't make the call and referred me back to my primary care doctor. I see my primary care doctor and they said the rheumatologists specialty deals with the diagnosis they implied lol Besides a waste of time of waiting for appointments and lack of communication and being rushed during my appointment I don't recommend. read more

The new system to improve patient support through use of AI is not working. Messages left with "Sara" vmail go enacted on or responded to for days. You can't get a live body. Likewise the assigned Care Coordinator does not act on or acknowledge text messages for sometimes more than a week only advising we have been busy. While I am grateful for the Dr's themselves for good care and kindness, their systems fail acceptable patient service. read more

Lisa Asfahani is by far the most AMAZING provider I have ever had. She genuinely cares about her patients not only on a professional level but a personal level. She listens, understands and treats accordingly. The office staff is kind and patient, they're so polite unlike many other offices. Wait times are typically low, but if there is a delay they are upfront and clear that the provider is running behind 10/10 I would recommend and I would never go anywhere else. read more

They don't even deserve one star. I had blood work done in December and did not have my follow up scheduled until today for the results. I show up for them just to tell me they no longer take my insurance and they can't see me until they reinstate it again. So now I have to wait another 2 months to be see on top of getting another referral form my PCP, JUST TO GET RESULTS. They cancelled my insurance in January but they never bothered to call to let me know, even though I was also calling them weekly to check for any cancellations as instructed by the provider that saw me. The only message I ever got from them was the text attached which doesn't even state where it's coming from, my provider is not Lisa and my appointment was for the 19th not 20th. read more

Trying to schedule an appointment is frustrating taking several phone calls and long hold times only to be booked out four months. Front office staff does not get back to patient if there are any concerns about patient. Billing office double bills and will send bills relentlessly through text and e mail but will not answer phone call or return calls to patient if there is a mistake on bill. It is Extremely difficult to get ahold of staff without long hold times or to just speak to a staff member. There is no option to be helped by the provider after being seen and if a patient is having problems and needs to be seen soon he or she is placed on a cancellation list. I have been to the Temecula office 3 times. The first 2 times I had Aetna HMO with a copay. I was seen by Lisa all 3 times. Up under the HMO, she took the time to explain my lab results and asked if I had questions or concerns. Before my third visit, my insurance changed to IEHP, so during this visit, I was treated way less than when I had Aetna HMO. Lisa, did not want to give me the time of day. She rushed through my lab results and did not allow me to address my concerns or ask questions. I barely got a couple words out before she stated that my stiff joints were probably arthritis and to see my primary but that is why I was referred to her. Then I tried to tell her about other other symptoms when she interrupted me saying I have allergies and told me to see my provider which I had done and she referred me to this office. I will not be returning. I would rather they told me they did not accept IEHP so that I could have been referred to a clinic that accepted my insurance and was willing to offer the same courtesy as someone with an HMO or PPO. read more

The office staff never calls when they're supposed to for injection appointments. In two years I never received a phone call to schedule my appointment even though they're supposed to call when they receive my medication. I received 1 phone call once 5 days after I had already had my injection to schedule!!!! I have been told I needed to wait 7-9 days to come in for an injection!!!! I have complained to the office manager who isn't in this office and I was told to let her know if there were any more issues. I have let her know and I received a letter stating I would be dropped as a patient. My Dr was fine but, the office manager doesn't care what is going on in this office and doesn't want to do her job to make sure the staff are doing their jobs. I wouldn't recommend this place at all if you need any type of injections because they don't do their jobs. I had to do their jobs in order to get my injections for 2 years. They also charge for an office visit for a phone call with blood results which I could view online way before their call. read more

I felt ignored and unimportant. I felt Dr. Trivedi wouldn't listen when I needed to talk to her especially when I had a problem. She started out being nice in the beginning but like I said I felt when I wanted to talk to her she was too busy. The office staff, now this does not include the nurse administering the medication because they were always very nice, I'm talking about the people signing you in, greeting you before you even go to the back. Dr. Lisa Asfahani is the most caring, compassionate and thorough Rheum out there. She will stop at nothing to find answers and get you a treatment plan to live a better life. If I could give this office negative stars I would. This is the most unprofessional medical office I've ever been to. I've been going here for 3+ years out of pure necessity due to limited professionals in my area. This office does not answer the phone. I called for 2 days off and on and nothing. They do not respond back in a timely manner for documentation that needs to be filled out for FMLA, disability, or any supplemental paperwork. I've had to call a sister office to check status of appointments due to the horribly trained office staff. But that's not even the worst part. The worst part is having to find out from a sister office that your "doctor" is conveniently out of office and has canceled your appointment without your consent. And unfortunately this isn't the first time the provider has miraculously disappeared or went on vacation without advising patients about possibly rescheduling appointments. Oh and that the office phone line has been down for a week. And maybe try calling again at Fridays end. Mind you I have been waiting for close to 5 months with a referral that is getting closer and closer to its expiration. And the cherry on top...no communication effort was made between provider or patient. It's incredibly frustrating because I live in a constant state of debilitating chronic pain and I depend on these visits. When I tell you that I was in tears while rescheduling an appointment for another month out..I was sobbing out of complete disbelief and disregard for the quality of care that was being offered. As much as I'd like to end my care at this office I have little no choice due to the extreme limitation of practitioners in my area. I know I'm not the only patient who has experienced this lack of care, but I know this situation could have been avoided had the office used common sense and reached out to its patients. It's a shame because I know there are patients who are in pain like me. Patients that are told to either "take it or leave it". This is shameful behavior from an office who is meant to alleviate pain and discomfort to those like me and so many others. They can do better. read more

these guys are amazing from the front office staff who answers any and all of my questions. They call me back when they have to get more information. All of the doctors here (shout out to Dr. Phillpotts ) and nurses that take care of my health care. it's about these guys on my medical team!! They help me stay on track so I could do the stuff that I enjoy. Had my routine visit with Dr AHMAD today. As always the wait time was minimal. I was roomed and the Nurse is always happy and talks to me. Dr Ahmad came in pleasant and very attentive to me. She always takes her time with me and makes sure that she answers all my questions and is so thorough explaining my labs and what is next. The doctors seem great, but their billing department (Michelle) was very unprofessional and rude. I was informed AFTER my appointment that my PPO insurance is no longer accepted, and I would have to pay $100. No problem - things happen. So I paid. But later I was sent a bill for $142. How can I get billed when I'm not using insurance and I paid cash? When I called billing, Michelle was rude and talked to me like a child. She essentially said my bill is my bill and to shut up and pay it, without any explanation or help. She treated me like I was just being cheap and trying to get out of paying. Later the front desk confirmed THEY made a mistake, and they explained the situation to my satisfaction and apologized. Mistakes do happen, but nothing is worse than being accused when not at fault, like Michelle did. read more

I've been to this office a couple times. Each visit has been a very good experience. The office staff is very friendly. I previously was seen by Dr Naila Ahmad who is no longer at this office so I made my most recent appt with Dr Marc Phillpotts. Dr Phillpotts is Great! Very knowledgeable and kind. He took plenty of time to review my documents I brought to my appt (labs results, NCS/EMG test results and my X-ray reports). As a new patient to Dr Phillpotts, but not to the office, I wanted to make sure he knew why I was there. Great News for me... based on my exam and review of my documents Dr Phillpotts told me I no longer need to follow with a rheumatologist. If however I needed to continue, Dr Phillpotts would be my rheumatologist! Very good visit! read more

Visited the office at Rancho Pueblo. Although the appointment takes several days to accommodate patients I needed to see them. Dr. Chhibar was good but it was a back and forth to order MRI as the first order was not entered; took a few days. The second time it was written incorrectly-which then insurance takes a while to approve; it was also my insurance who let me know about the incorrect info entered for MRI so it had to be redone/resubmitted. The third time took also a while for their office to correct. Although I appreciate Dr. Chhibar's knowledge follow up appointments seemed disappointing to follow up to scheduled (front desk was not following up with insurance and approvals and appointment cancellations occurred twice). And most recent, Michelle C. at "Billing Dept." was condescending and unprofessional talking over while trying to ask a few questions; very defensive as well when asked if they had an online service to pay so I can get a receipt. Please train your people!! Especially Michelle, when talking to patients be a good listener, above ALL professional to represent your office and even if she's not educated, politeness can have a big impact on your services. read more

I have had an awful experience with the Menifee location Lisa the NP has been completely negligent on getting back to me on my X-ray results after numerous phone messages which she asked me to leave with the MA in order to go over the X-rays which they have failed to follow up with Loma Linda on. I first had a follow up appt which was a waste of my time because that was when Lisa was to go over, with me the results. Ends up they did not even follow up with Loma Linda to get them. So I paid my copay for nothing. She asked me to call in a couple of days and leave a message for the MA and she would call me back. After 5-6 calls and over a month later, I have yet to hear from anyone again from this practice. I have horrible pain in my hips but they don't seem to care. I think Ill just request my X-Ray records and fins another practice who actually wants to work with their patients read more

I absolutely love how attentive doctor Mehta is. I feel like he is very invested in making sure I can live my best possible life. I ah improved much under his care and now can hike, dance and work out on a regular basis. Years ago I had trouble holding a fork and walking with a cane so this is huge. The infusion rooms are crowded and not comfortable but they do what they can with the space they have and a few hours of discomfort are a small price to pay for a better quality of life. read more

I would not recommend this office to anyone, very rude and unprofessional the way they treat people. I was there, and I had 2 problems that needed to be addressed, only one problem was, and when I voiced my concern about the treatment, telling her that I was on the web MD, and after reading the side effects, I said I really do not feel that this is the right medications for me, so her comment why are you here. my second problem was never addressed. and when I said that my second problem was not addressed, she basically told me that I was a liar. I am very friendly person by nature, and I was shocked by this, then I received a letter from the office manager that they could no longer serve me. just want to inform them that I never ever would go back to this rude office, making me out to be a liar is absolutely not acceptable. read more

I moved to Menifee three and a half yrs ago. Been seen by Dr Mehta and Lisa originally. I have RA and use Embrel for it. Everything was fine in that office! Lisa moved you this office, so I moved with her to Temecula office. Saw he in February . Took my application for the Embrel with me and gave it to. You have to reapply each year. I fill out the app and they add the Rx . Then fax it to Amgen. Done this way every year! When I didn't hear from Amgen by aApril I called them. I was told that they received the Rx but not the application! I now have called Temecula several times requesting they send my application to Amgen. Amgen still has not revived it. last Friday someone called me back and told me it's not her job and she doesn't where my application is and hung up on me. so Monday I went over to the Menifee office , changed to a new PA and got samples of the Embrel since I am out.! They said it is her job! I had to download the app and need to send it to Amgen! I never have experienced such negligence and rudeness and lack of care in.a Doctors office before. Also left messages for Lesa to call but she did not! Be careful if you go there! read more

She also gave me a few recommendations on products I can use without taking oral medications. I found her medical advice to be very useful. read more

Update! I found out that those 5 no shows were over the course of 3.5 years! Wow. Iwas once a patient of this clinic and had many great experiences however, not any longer. I was discharged due to excessive no shows (5) even though I had called and cancelled the night before but unfortunately my appointments were on a Monday so I had to call on Sunday night. I admit to no showing at least 2 appointments, 1 due to the fact that I was pregnant and was very sick and forgot my appointment and the other due to the fact that my father had died (again while I was 8 months pregnant). I can understand that business is business but when it comes to a speciality such a rheumatology that deals with chronic pain I would expect a certain level of empathy. I have recommended countless people to this clinic but no longer. I hope that this practice rethinks their discharge methods. However, I will say that the office manager was professional but still empathetic. read more
