On three separate occasions, appointments that had been scheduled for me in Menifee, were subsequently changed through the office's automated/AI scheduling system. This created quite a bit of confusion and made it difficult to rely on my scheduled appointments. More importantly, Dr. Mehta prescribed hydroxychloroquine, which I took according to his instructions. I became extremely ill after taking it and wanted to contact his office both to report what had happened and to discuss possible alternative treatment. I called the office three times. On two of those calls, I waited on hold for approximately 15 minutes and 10 minutes before the calls were disconnected. I was finally able to leave a message for Dr. Mehta. When I received a return call, however, I was told that Dr. Mehta could not help me because I was moving to Arizona and that I should establish care with a specialist there. I have no plans to move to Arizona and have never told the office that I was doing so. I am concerned that such incorrect information somehow became associated with my medical care. I could never recommend this practice after being treated this way. read more

Alvin Yan is wonderful, thorough and knowledgeable. I would have given this facility a 5. The thing holding them back is lack of responsiveness from their office team. They never pick up even if you call multiple times. There are also not alternative ways to reach out such as text, email, or messaging through a health app. read more

Well, they never answer their phones. You can't even get an appointment to get into the damn building to see a doctor if they even exist there. It's ridiculous. Don't even waste your time. Alvin Yan is great. The office staff lies! They keep saying that I missed doing my labs and the appointment is canceled. But they did not send the labs to Quest. I have PROOF the labs were not sent until today. Then they say if I don't show up, I will be charged. When I ask to speak to a real person, she says you didn't do the labs and they were sent in June (I have proof this is a lie from Quest's website). When I point out I am still waiting on a promised call back from the "Office manager, Lillian" I am told I am raising my voice and hung up on. I have been trying to talk to someone for two weeks. I talk to someone, I wait, I call back and I am told no such person works there. Time to call the medical board. read more

I have been a patient here for 4-5 years . I have RA and now an extremely serious, aggressive and malignant disease called myositis. I dare give this clinic even 2 stars. The big problem is incompetency and huge lack of a system to communicate with your doctor, like a portal or email/text . This is so important, especially with serious rheumatic disorders. The business is suppose to be open until 5 and they not only don't answer their phones during the day regularly, they offer an answering machine on their recordings but then it never takes you to an area where you can leave a message, and they also regularly shut their phones down early before business is actually closed, a practice they deny but all the above has happened numerous times and it looks like it's not just me. To leave a message with your rheumatologist for important matters, it is extremely stressful. You are waiting for somebody to answer the phone, when you do get a receptionist, she is taking dictation from you which by the time it gets to the rheumatologist is a completely different message or is not exactly the same as what has been relayed to her, and with a lack of urgency that you are trying to convey when giving them a message to give to the doctor. Then, urgent messages have taken over a week at times to answer. One of these instances almost led to serious consequences and could have resulted in death with having pneumonia and still taking methotrexate but not being told to stop. Had I not researched this myself after not hearing back and ceasing the medication while I was on antibiotics and violently ill I may not be writing this today. The last instance was receiving a terrible diagnosis of a rare disease called myositis. I was having a rough time breathing when I was on a phone appointment. with my rheumatologist, Dr. Alvin Yan. He suggested I go to the emergency room to get a breathing treatment and possibly a jump start on a cat scan to take a look at my lungs, which myositis also affects. I never heard another word from him and it has been 5 weeks. I do not feel I'm in the best hands with my rheumatologic care, especially after this diagnosis however, there are hardly any rheumatologist that are specialized to take a myositis patient in 100 mile radius and probably not Alvin Yan either- so this is where I am at right now. read more

Horrific service. I've been trying to fill my RA medicine for two months with zero reply. They have an AI assistant which is actually pretty good but it's telling me I need an appointment. Fine, let's make one. After a few minutes it tells me my doctor has no availibility for 90 days, would I like to speak to the clinic to make other arrangements. Combined hour on hold over three attempts and I finally talk to a sack of potatoes, well that's as helpful as she was. She informed me that Dr. Lisa moved out of state. That would've been good information two months ago. To get my refill, I need to see another doctor, in person, and soonest they are available is end of July. Why can't they do a telemed or at least fill my meds while I wait, I've done all my annual tests. "Because it's your responsibility to stay current on your treatment". No kidding? What do you think I've been trying to do? She also informs me that it'll be $50 to get my records. That's special. I'm sure it's because they have to pay someone to get her off her ass to do anything productive. When I told her their system was "ass" she hung up. Good riddence! Terrible customer service experience at this office. Unfortunately I never even got to schedule an appointment to rate the doctor that is specialized to treat me.. This office is listed as a resource for persons with the Sjogrens diagnosis on a Sjogrens website . First and foremost, I waited 23 mins for someone to answer the phone. Then I was very disappointed when the office staff stated that I needed to wait til I got a new primary doctor and get a new referral. This office was ZERO helpful and resourceful . They should't be listed as a resource until they are able to obtain better triage staff that is helpful and resourceful in the condition. I have a Sjogrens diagnosis, and there are not many specialist that treat this condition near me. Dr. Trivedi took the extra time to research the cause of my inflammatory symptoms and ordered further testing after carefully reviewing all of my previous tests ordered by other doctors, who have yet to diagnose my condition. Saw Dr Triverdi - nice and seems capable- but beware as I failed to make the MANDATORY 6 mont appointment- then was given "you are now on Probation! ( grade school mentality) so sorry ! Made appointment/not needed as I had no new concerns, but did follow up on next 2 appointments-last one I totally forgot labs /which apparently were prefer from previous 6 months appointment- was told to reschedule- ok the next day they called to refer me to a doc in Illinois!!! After they already scheduled me - so sorry I'm 64 and taking care of chronically ill adult child 24/7. Go elsewhere!! read more

I love my doctor but unfortunately they never ever answer the phone!! i've been an established patient for almost 3 years and can not even get an appointment . they changed their phone hours about 6 months ago and it has been a nightmare since to get a person on the phone!!! every single time i call i get a busy signal or an answering machine that leads nowhere!!! i am almost out of medication and can't even get a refill cuz i can't get a damn person on the damn phone. two years ago i would've highly recommended them but not now because they stopped caring about their patients a long time ago!!!! guess its time to find a new doctor cuz her staff is so severely incompetent!!! Terrible office staff, no follow-up from anyone My doctor sent my referral here and gave me a heads-up that there aren't many options in this area. She'd heard complaints about Southland Arthritis, but if I had issues, I could go to any rheumatologist with her referral. I called the same day I got the referral, and Alejandra told me it takes 24 hours for it to come through and that I should call back the next day later in the afternoon, but they'd likely call me. The next day, I called back because I hadn't received a call, and she said she hadn't received the referral. Miraculously, it now takes 48 hours for a referral to come through, so I should call back the next day, but they'd likely give me a call first. After this, I immediately messaged my doctor and asked if she'd sent the referral, and she said yes, she sent it right away, but she'd send it again. I waited two more days, so now it's been a total of 96 hours. I call and speak with Katie and they tell me no referral, they put me on hold then hang up on me. I called back three times with no answer. I got onto their website and online form and sent a message, but I never received any answer from anyone. No apology, no nothing. I've never had such a poor experience. Sadly, these people are dealing with people's health. Don't waste your time here. Find another doctor! read more

I am really not happy with this office. I have been 3 weeks without a refill on my prescription because they are incompetent in communicating with the optometrist office that they INSISTED I go to. Now that I have been to the appointment, they couldnt care less about obtaining the results or report. I am currently sitting at quest diagnostics, where I have to wait 2 hours to get my blood work done because i missed the appointment because they never sent the orders. Waiting for the orders to be sent put me past my appointment time and now they won't see me. This is basic admin stuff.... Also, I have never gotten a call back in the last 3 weeks about my refill. Guess they don't care about that either. UPDATE: Today they have called me to cancel my appointment that was supposed to be in about 2 hours because they don't have the approved referral. You may ask, well did they call to find out why it's not approved? No. No, of course not. They put that burden on the patient, and it gets better. It lacks the professionalism and care expected of a medical facility, resembling a chaotic business rather than a place of healing. The office staff is consistently rude, showing little understanding of billing procedures and failing to communicate effectively. Patients are required to pay before seeing the doctor and being billed anywayto find out at next appointment, remember you have to pay before seeing the doctor. There's a dismissive attitude towards pain management and patient concerns, leaving one to wonder if symptoms are believed or staff incompetence prevails. The nepotistic atmosphere suggests a family-run operation, with unqualified individuals occupying key positions. Attempts to address issues with management yield no results, suggesting a deeply ingrained problem. Despite any positive reviews, my experiences have been overwhelmingly negative. This place is horrible for anyone with a chronic condition who require medication. After changing insurance companies, I was referred to this place where I couldn't get an appointment for two months without an "urgent" referral. The people who answer the calls are completely without compassion and basically told me, "good luck". On top of that, once you finally get an appointment, you are unable to get treatment until your second visit, regardless of your medical history and pre-existing diagnosis. Don't expect to get any help with your condition for at least 3 months coming here, and even then, who knows. If you're someone who requires medication to stay on top of your condition, do not come here. read more

Dr. Arlene Bravo was an angel sent from heaven. I am 53 years old, have multiple auto immune disorders including rheumatoid arthritis. I have been to more doctors and specialists than I can count in the last 10 years who have just looked at everything on a surface level and tried to hand me pills without investigating my symptoms. It was not until I found Dr. Bravo that my illnesses began to be taken seriously and vigorous testing done to see what was happening in my body. She takes a lot of time with her patients, as necessary, regardless of her schedule. I have had a really positive outcome due to God's grace and Dr. Bravo's compassionate care. Sadly, she is leaving this medical group and moving on, but the 1.5 years I've spent here were a blessing. This place had what I needed, a reclast infusion for my thinning bones, staff is super sweet and they really listened when I called urging this treatment and got me in fairly quickly considering. "If I could leave zero stars I would! Lilian the office manager rude no bedside manner. How she works in a medical office with sick people is so mind boggling. She treated my disabled mother with such disrespect I couldn't believe it. My mother was lost for words and so distraught by the way she was treated. The front office staff is so unprofessional, and sets their patients up for failure, such as not communicating the right information or not, giving the right paperwork needed. They cancel appointments last min and discharge patients with no good reason. When asked to speak with the doctor to clarify why she is being discharged Lilian refused and said it's done already. I can't even put into words how unbelievably rude the appointment staff is. I never got her name. She has Hispanic accent. I waz given a referral on 10/12/22 to see Dr. Trivedi. I have tried more times than I can count to make an appointment. I have called more times than I can count trying to schedule an appointment. This girl came up with excuse after excuse why she couldn't schedule my appointment. Mostly stating she didn't have my referral even though my Dr faxed it there. I found my copy of the referral today and called and asked to email it. She said I could fax it. I told her I don't have a fax machine. Because it's 2022 and no one sends fax anymore. I then asked for the address because I was going to personally drive it  from Rancho to Riverside so I cam finally make an appt. Which she abruptly stopped me and said don't bother because they dont have any appts available until end of January to the end of February!?!?! What the actual? So this is how you treat sick people that need to be seen? Umm no thanks. I can't say how the Dr was because I couldn't get past the appointment gatekeeper. I've been holding back the tears. I can't even believe that I have been treated like this and my time completely wasted. She needs to be fired and not allowed in a patient setting. Ever. read more
