I took it to Rick's and upon inspection it initially looked as if I would need new brake pads. I agreed for Rick's to put new pads. Once they took my wheels off they measured and found in fact that I had a good four months left on my pads. Instead of doing what most auto shops would do Ricky called and advised me of the amount of life left on the pads! Guess who will get all of my mechanical business of any vehicle I own as long as I can help it. Ricky is what Blackstone is all about. Good, honest people who love their community. An honest days work for an honest days pay. It just doesn't get anymore ethical than that.

I found Rick's Auto Service nearby and checked out the Yelp review. I called them and explained the situation and asked if they could fit her in ASAP. They said that they would, and even recommended a local towing company to get her there. (The weather was so cold and her alternator went out, so she had no heat in her car as she waited.) They were expecting my daughter when she arrived and Janet was so helpful and friendly to her. There service and price were both amazing. The fact that they took care of my daughter and treated her so well was priceless. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

I was told they did, and they falsely said it was okay. When I got home, I checked the filter. It was very visibly dirty with several bugs in it. I then decided to look at the washer fluid reservoir. It was only maybe 75% filled. When I first pulled in, the guy gave me a bit of an attitude about the coupon, which didn't apply to their "privately" owned business. He also said they don't have a website, which appears false. I should have followed my gut instinct and left the place before they did anything.

However my car suffered from this place so i had taken my car to another repair shop but because of the costs i didnt want to pay 12k so speedys actually towed the car for me to their shop and said the could do it for damn near half of the other shop price. I paid roughly 6-7k to obtain a used engine with 32k miles on it . Took a while but i didnt want to rish them since it was a big job. They also replaced my catalytic converters for like 1500$ I should have just spent the 12k with theother shop because after taking it back to speedys three times because my coolant alert kept popping up and it was literally draining out of the car. I knew something was wrong . They said they didnt see anything only for the car to begin blowing out a bunch of smoke from under the engine and the check engine light came on. I literally spent an additional 8k to fix what this place messed up. I should have reported this place to the attorney general's office since the other shop stated everything wasn't even in spec . As a place that does emissions i could have had the shut down but only because they were nice i didn't make the call. I should have taken it to court but again they can read about it here on this review . I would not recommend any foreign car owner to take your car here theres clearly a lack of knowledge and understanding. I have an audi A8 btw. Never again

Absolutely the worse business I've ever had encountered…read more I needed slave cylinder replaced, I first asked if he was familiar with this He answered yes I then asked, if I get truck towed by Thursday (11-16-23) if I can for sure pick it up no later than Monday (11-20-23) He replied,, "not a problem" Well I couldn't get it towed till early afternoon Thursday, so called and said, " I know I'm getting truck to you later than our agreement so I understand if you need till Tuesday *NEVER HEARD A WORD FROM HIM, so mon I called him and asked how repair was going His reply: "I'm at doctors appointment, but all I Ned to do is finishing touches" Again no word from him, so I called Wed, he said he was in hospital I replied, "I don't believe you" He replied "I'll have a friend send you pictures" NEVER HAPPENED I drive to repair facility to find, he hasn't even drove my truck into shop (I could tell cause Sterling wheel still tied from tow So I asked that he pay to have it towed back to my house He said he would contact "his towing company" 3 1/2 hours later I contacted tow company, they said never of him and never had a call from his name or business address So I paid again to have my truck towed home again Now, I'm not a cold hearted monster, If he truly was in hospital I wouldn't have had a problem And if he was he should have called me/ had someone else at shop do job **I also had all parts required to do job.
