His staff is professional, courteous and family friendly. I have NEVER had a bad experience with Roy's shop. You can make an appointment, he also has a night drop service and you always get a call about what is needed and the cost. Professional and honest. I've been going to Roy Hendricks for auto repairs the past four years and have experienced no issues.

Took my 2016 Jeep Wrangler over to Roy's a week ago to replace the exhaust tips on my dual exhaust. Roy stepped up when I walked in and drove it back into the bay area, looked it over, measured and got me to review and then welded on the new Black Exhaust Tips. The whole visit was about 30 minutes and he did a great job. Everyone at the counter was nice and easy to work with. Will keep going to them. If you do have a problem, just bring it back as Roy stands behind his work and will make it right. This is the 2nd or 3rd time I've used Roy's over the past several years. read more

My wife has taken her cars to Hendrick's for years. It's not convenient for me with my work schedule and I have never taken my cars here. She has always been pleased with the service and they have always been straight with her. A few years back my daughter's car had to be towed to AAA. They made a necessary repair and told us that the brakes needed replacing. We took the car to Hendrick's and were told that wasn't the case. My daughter drove the car for nearly 2 more years before the brakes needed replacing. Honesty can be in short supply in the auto repair business but that doesn't seem to be the case here. read more

Leaving Roy Hendricks now. Came in with a check engine light, the diagnosis is evaporation leak through the gas tank. They turned off my light, tightened my gas cap and said to see if that did the trick. They told me to come back if the light comes back on, and then we might need to look at other ways to fix the problem. When I tried to settle the bill, they said there was no charge. No charge?!?! They did work, used their time and are not charging me anything. So I strongly stand by my recommendation of Roy Hendricks in a time where many are swindlers and will do nothing and charge anyway it's nice to have such a great business owner close by. The only time I've taken my car elsewhere since finding Roy's has been when it broke down out of town. Thank you Hendricks family!!! read more

Came in to put on a new exhaust and headers, after I pick it up all seems fine until I really start driving it. It was making this terribly loud noise almost like two metal pieces touching and vibrating against each other. I took it back for them to fix and when I picked it up the same thing was happening. I get up underneath the truck to look at it myself, these idiots didn't even weld the top parts of the exhaust, they only welded like 75% of it. Now if I bring it back and they still can't fix it they should not be in business, let alone call them self a muffler shop(side note: I have someone putting a new one on and they said it was the worst thing the have ever seen and the reason it was making that noise is because of the exhaust leak) read more

First experience - fast, friendly, fair. I've been looking for a trustworthy, competent, affordable shop and I think I've found one. Gigged me on two bad tires for state inspection then let me know they recommended four new tires. Point is- they could've told I "had" to have four tires to pass. After all, they do sell tires. I ended up getting four anyway- but I thought it was fair of them to let the other two slide if I wanted. A lot of shops try to jam you when you have an older car. I got my tires elsewhere. When I returned for re-inspect they didn't charge me the usual $1.00. Pretty cool read more

I took my Ford Edge in to have my Check Engine Light diagnosed. (I previously plugged in my own scanner and it popped up with a P0300 code -- multiple cylinder misfire). Roy's confirmed the code and recommended replacing all 6 spark plugs and 3 ignition coils for a whopping $858. The car was serviced quickly and I was able to pick it up early afternoon. The facilities look professional and clean. Very nice waiting room. Friendly and professional service rep. I deducted a star because parts and labor were a bit on the high side. Ford genuine Motocraft parts were used according to the invoice, however the $4.00 spark plugs were marked up to $8.95 and the $124.55 ignition coils (dealer $) was marked up to $145.45. Labor was $100/hour. read more

I've only been to this shop once, last week, but they did a great job.?Towed my car there after hours and left a note with my keys in the drop box. I asked for it to be finished by noon the next day and sure enough it was. They did exactly what I asked and and at a good price. I will be returning to this shop if I need any more repairs. Staff seemed nice enough, but their communication is irresponsible and cost them two customers. I asked them to check and replace a sensor. They called me with an estimate and even said that they got a code for the sensor. So, that would mean they are telling me it's a bad sensor, right? NO. When I picked up the car the sensor light was still on. Felt very violated that they would not refund my money and they told me that it could have been 1 of 2 sensors that made the warning light stay on. So, they replaced a good part and then tried to tell me it was my fault for giving the go ahead!!! It really was such an awful experience because I was helpless in this transaction. Maybe tell your customers; we charge a diagnostic fee to see which sensor it is; we can replace this sensor, but it could be 1 of 2 sensors causing the problem and we can't be responsible if we don't run the diagnostic test. I'm sure if they reply to this review, it will be worded to best reflect upon them. So disappointing they didn't even care to keep me as a customer. read more

I called to make and appointment and they could not have been nicer, dropped the car off, and then they called to give me a quote. I was really busy and just agreed because it seemed ok based on what I asked them to fo fix. When I got there the brakes were not fixed like I asked and the car is still bogged down when you turn the air on even though I asked them to fix that too. When I looked at the break down of prices, they seemed high but the girl at the counter said it was because I drove an Infinti even though she clearly had no clue. I asked Roy and instead of nicely answering me he said "You agreed" and ran out into the garage. Owner is a coward and will not stand behind his shop. If he had nicely explained the inflated prices and why things weren't fixed instead of just saying "You agreed" and running away, I would not be leaving this review. I should have asked for a break down of prices, my fault but assumed they were fixing my cars problems like I asked. You have to address things Roy, it is your business and when you don't, the Internet makes it easy to share with all your potential and current customers. Running away like you did with me and another reviewer here leaves a bad taste in people's mouths and makes it look like you are hiding something. read more

Not impressed at all. These guys are close to where I live and I had heard good things. I took my car in for an oil change. The next day I found a huge oil stain under my car. I took it back. Roy said the filter needed cleaning. Two days later - huge oil stain. Brought it back - Roy said that he changed the entire filter. Haven't had a leak since - he actually blamed it on the filter and said "the way it fits, it's difficult" - or something to that effect. Never had that issue before in the nearly seven years I've had the car. I then decided to give them a second chance. I brought my husband's car in - it was over revving, was sluggish, needed an oil change, had an oil burning smell, and the check engine light was on. I asked if it could need a tune up and spark plugs, or something to that effect. Noooo, Roy assured me. The oil smell is just something that my husband's make of car does. OK. I totally felt like he was blowing me off, like I was wasting his time or something. Also he said that we needed a "fuel induction" - it cost around $220, I believe. Got that done - not a blind bit of difference. I took it to a guy in my neighborhood - the guy gave it a tune up, new spark plugs, and did a few other things. The car runs like new. I will NEVER go to Roy Hendricks again. Maybe he likes to spend time on his "established" customers and can't be bothered with new ones - who knows? I had a horrible experience there and wouldn't recommend them to anyone. The only good thing is Melissa - she is Roy's daughter and works the front desk. She's very nice and great to work with. Too bad she doesn't fix cars too. read more

I'm new to the area and I was told by someone I knew that they do good work. I had my spark plugs replaced along with the spark plug wire. The old wire set was sitting on the engine block when I looked under the hood to see how it looked. The wire set was put on sloppy and did not look like it should. It looked like a 2 minute job but was charged 60 bucks labor not including parts. I will never will go back and hope you do the same. read more

My whole family takes all of our vehicles to Roy. Everywhere else I've ever been has taken advantage of me. I went to the Jeep dealership for a recall and asked for a few simple repairs (put a window back on it's track, state inspection, bulb change). They started giving me a list of all of these other off-the-wall things I needed fixed that would cost over $500. Took it to Roy and he got it all done for $75. He had it ready quickly so I wouldn't have to drive home in the snow storm that was starting even though I told him I could come back the next day. Just had my A/C go out and headed back to Roy's. I was expecting it to be pretty steep. They quoted me an awesome price and then called me back with an even cheaper price. You just can't find that nowadays. The Hendricks and their staff are honest, kind, reliable people and I don't trust anyone else touching my jeep (that i drive my toddler in).
