I appreciated their up front pricing and prompt pickup, getting to my location in about 15 minutes. I locked my keys in a rental car trunk and I had a horrible experience with the locksmith. Southside was able to answer my call quickly and put me through to a dispatcher with a short wait time. The prices were competitive. My only gripe is when I asked them to quote a price, they gave me one price and raised it after I explained my situation. That was irritating. But my driver was very delightful and he knew exactly where to go in order to get the car back to National Rental car at the airport. I had no idea where to take a you're truck to return it and my phone was dying. He had no problem, knew exactly how to get there. He made me feel a lot better about my crappy day. read more

The staff is extremely rude, will raise their voices and treat you like you're stupid when telling you the most insane "company policies". Jennifer and an elder lady named Mary I remember her name started with M, aren't helpful at all. They pick up the phone and give random information that when you call again they both deny. When you pull up to get your car they're drinking coffee, smoking, looking at your face and doing anything but their job. Ridiculous practices and prices. My car was towed due to being accident.... Tow trucker driver stole all my belongings out of my vehicle!!!! When I called to let them know I was told my stuff was probably stolen out of my car prior to it being towed when I was there when my car was towed!!!!! Do not use this place for a tow! They are high price and your belongings will be stolen!!!! Had I know the smallest things would be taken out of my car I would have took it!!! It's the principle!!! Poor business all around! It baffles me of the response that this tow service has decided to make on here and other social media outlets. My initial emails included the photos that I have attached to this review and asked for someone affiliated with the company to reach out to discuss what happened and come to a resolution by replacing the tablet. There were never any demands via email, phone call or in person (I am super embarrassed for this company that they felt compelled to lie about my visit especially since I have NEVER been on their property). I was ignored for quite sometime and when a rebuttal email was sent stating that they weren't responsible, I kindly requested a phone call or email back to discuss further. This request was also ignored. It is very apparent that this could have been an easy conversation had between a customer and business (owner), however it took the reviews to gain their attention and ultimately my FULL NAME and that of my boyfriends on their Facebook page that had the identical response to this review. This Facebook post initiated and ensued the bashing of my character, my role as a mother, personal financial stability and also labeling me as a scammer...all of which are not only offensive but the accusations are all untrue. In my professional and personal life, I have encountered a multitude of people with various personalities but it is apparent that this business and its owners are not reasonable people willing to effectively communicate with a consumer. I am not a difficult person to deal with and that is a mantra that leads my life and my lifestyle. All that was needed was a bit more effort on the part of this business. The reviews that I have chosen to post on FB, Yelp and Google are informative for future customers of this business and how concerning matters will possibly be handled (or in this case not handled). The tow truck driver was very nice and cooperative, but he forgot his credit card reader so the dispatcher had to send an email so that I could submit my payment. The payment link would not accept my credit card information so I called the company for assistance with submitting my payment information and the dispatcher who identified himself as Tony was extremely rude and threatened to confiscate my car unless I paid either through the link that wasn't working or cash. When asking how could I pay the cash he indicated that was my problem. This person has very poor customer service skills and Southside Towing would be better off if they replace him. read more
