I would highly recommend staying far away from this facility. My 87-year old mother lived there for…read morethe past year, until July when she fell in her bathroom and broke her hip. She fell at 2am on a Sunday. The facility is supposed to check on their residents by 9 am. No one checked on my mother that day at all. Infuriating. I talk with mother usually every Sunday so when I didn't hear back from her by Monday morning, I called Crestview to do a wellness check. Tori said she went to check on mom and said that mom was just tired but okay. So it took me calling to get them to check on her. Turns out that later in the day, another gal named Lisa, found my mom at 3pm still lying on the bathroom floor, in pain. She called 911 and my mom was taken to the hospital - after lying on the floor for 37 hours. So much for good care. We found a new place for mom and when I went to clean our mom's apt at Crestview last week, the director Christina asked to speak to me. She denied that we had left her any voice messages and said she didn't receive any - from myself, my aunt and also mom's social worker. Christina insisted we give a written 30-day notice and that mom has to pay for September rent despite her move being involuntary, as she can no longer live independently. I asked Christina if there was any way we could reach an agreement since we are not a litigious family, but she was unwilling to budge at all. OH, P.S. The State of Missouri is now investigating them for the elder abuse.

Wonderful place! Bright and cheery. Very pleasant activities, including exercise class. My mom has…read morebeen here for three and a half years. Great staff and housekeepers and maintenance. We have used a few services that you pay for such as Senior Helpers when she had a wound that needed daily tending and that was very helpful and reassuring. Also the on-site salon for haircuts and pedicures is convenient. One huge downside to caution about is that meals are not served at all on Sunday nights. This has been burdensome for our family and other residents have grumbled about this repeatedly. They get used to not cooking and then there is no meal and families are not always able to help. So then it's cold leftovers or PBJ. But that is the only down side, other than that, it's a wonderful place and we would recommend it!

Jenny…read morewas incredibly kind and patient, answering all my questions and immediately putting me at ease. The employees and residents were friendly and welcoming. and the place was clean and organized. On my follow-up visit, I made a point to speak with several residents about their experience at St. Louis Hills. Each one spoke proudly and positively about their home, reaffirming my strong first impression. Now, three months in, we couldn't be more pleased. The staff truly go above and beyond -- not only are they attentive and compassionate, but they also bring a joyful energy that creates the atmosphere we had hoped for. One example of their attentiveness really stood out to me: because my dad is hearing impaired, I was concerned he might not hear aides when they knocked. After I shared this concern, the maintenance team promptly installed a flashing light system to alert him when someone is at the door. My dad is receiving exceptional care, enjoying delicious meals, and benefiting greatly from the outstanding physical and occupational therapy services. I'm deeply grateful to everyone at St. Louis Hills -- thank you for treating my dad like family.

Before reading this review , please be advised that I…read morehave worked in the medical field for over 30 years in all phases of revenue cycle, from working in business offices and admission departments, traveling to different states along with a clinical review team pre pandemic to do projects for facility's who needed assistance with collecting review and improving their level of care both inpatient and outpatient, implementing new strategies and EHR billing systems for improvement. This facility is a total failure, is broken and needs a major overhaul in both senior management and care takers. My mother was pushed down TWICE by other residents resulting in a broken femur the first time, and a head contusion the second time. This place is complete rhetoric, and a failure their senior management is a joke, the administrator, the social worker, the nurse manager, all incompetents. The Deacon that Catholic Charities employs for this campus is also their legal counsel is rude, arrogant and should be visiting his residents weekly if not daily basis, but sits in his office on Lindell Blvd all day, doing nothing and has accused me being a manipulator. Take off the collar Deacon, you're not worthy. First time mom was pushed down, she was moved to the recovery unit, and told them she needed to use the bathroom several times, I witnessed this, and after finally located the nurse manager and she couldn't be bothered telling me they had the resources to clean up if mom wet her pants with a grin on her face. This is unacceptable. I work for a non profit, and can tell you this is not a non profit despite what they claim to be, its a money grab at the cost of their resident's health. DO NOT ADMIT A LOVED ONE HERE.

Staff just sitting on couch on their phones, if it was so understaffed then definitely wouldn't have time for that. Very expensive for absolutely awful care if any care at all. Unexplained bruises, a couple falls, diaper always wet, they definitely don't shower/clean the patients regularly if at all, laundry service nonexistent, never followed dietary orders, and on and on. Have no idea what I was paying for other than a roof over her head, a very expensive roof. Don't send your loved one here!!!

His food was inedible due to his physical inability. (He could only eat mostly liquid and would get a chicken sandwich on bread with French fries. Never had any water in his cup and we always had to request it. He would drink minutes on end when we got him some. I don't think anyone cleaned his room while he was there as the same piece of trash was on his floor the entire time. Many staff members were great but others could have cared less....When I witnessed a mostly naked woman in a walker coming down the hall asking about dinner and no one doing anything to help her was sickening. I actually covered her up and helped her walk and sit down. Another man was in shorts and T-Shirt and was freezing. Gave him some clothes and he was so thankful. Staff even told me that the place was crap and no one would do anything to fix anything unless you demanded. DON'T SEND ANYONE THERE!!!
