Solid food, really good and unique pizzas. Definitely will go again. Reasonable prices for the size of the pizzas.

Pizza was terrible and it took well over an hour to arrive. May have been better if it wasn't cold when I finally received my order, but the mediocre crust and sauce tells me that probably isn't the case. When I called in to ask about the missing order (they say 45min but thats a complete lie) after waiting over an hour, I was either lied to by the lady who said it already left or I was lied to by the extremely rude ass boy who kept making excuses and saying it had just left - a whole 20min later after calling the first time. I was literally 5 minutes (0.5 miles) from the location, but the staff must be mentally impaired or something. Total dogshit all around. This experience actually managed to ruin my night as I was stuck waiting on food that SHOULD HAVE arrived much sooner or AT LEAST still warm (This pizza had to have sat finished for almost an hour) instead of going to the bar with my coworkers. Even Tostinos pizza is better than this crap. Do not support any of this company's businesses - I sure as hell will not be going to a single one of their locations for any reason after this experience. Owners should be ashamed to have ever imagined themselves resterauteers. Absolutely aweful. The real kicker is I had left a decent tip in the preorder, but apparently that doesn't mean shit to the driver or employees. Finally got my order after an hour and a half, but I would have been far better off getting a pizza from Subway (thats how bad it was). Stay far away. read more

I love this place and the pizza is delicious. The salad bar is a joke. You can buy an alll you can eat for $14 and a one time trip for 8.00. The one time trip gives you a plate that must be 4 or 5 inches round and the all you. An eat gets a regular dinner plate. What a joke. We were a party of 4 for lunch at Southway Pizzeria one day last week. The potato pizza was delicious, and the turkey bacon ranch sandwich was good, but the same thing as a wrap was just okay. It tasted good, but there was a lot of bacon fat and a large piece of rubbery turkey skin that had to be pulled out. The service was good, and the tables were clean and well lit. In Lewiston for a conference at L-C College and drove past Southway Pizzeria so we went the next day for early dinner. Greeted by friendly cashier to take our order. Ordered The '721' pizza in the 12" size since we had no place to keep leftovers. Plates and utensils were brought to the table, with the pizza shortly thereafter. Great looking pizza, plenty of toppings to cover the crust and cheese. First slice was wonderful, gooey cheese stretching as it was moved to the plate. First bite was amazing. The proportions of cheese to toppings was great, and the flavors meshing together wonderfully. I'm not a thick crust person, but this was not too thick. Overall, a very good pizza. read more

Went there the other day and had a Tuscan Hero grinder. Perfectly cooked in the pizza oven like it should be. I only ate half of it and saved the other half for golf the next day. By then the oil/vinger had soaked into the bread which made it even better than fresh as far as I'm concerned. Interesting decor. Quick service. We were so excited to welcome Southway Pizzeria on Thain. Unfortunately, we won't be back. We got half BBQ chicken and half Meatsaholic. The pizza was overdone; the toppings were so dried out that other than the pepperoni, we couldn't tell the difference in flavor between the meats on the Meatsaholic. They pushed back on the order of the BBQ chicken--supposedly it isn't on the menu anymore--but said they'd do it as a side. We'd checked the menu online before we went in. This time the crust is VERY MINIMAL.. we ordered just reg pizza and got the THINNEST crust I have ever seen. I am sure the cheese is thicker then the crust.for the amount you pay for a pizza here you would expect the crust to be atleast like a peice of bread.... but once again they missed the mark. Look, this place has it together. I made a large online order last night. It included 2 custom pizzas. 32 wings with 4 different sauces. Garlic knots, and Nutella bites. I arrived and I could see a little bit of front end chaos. Well, it looked liked chaos. It was not. There is a guy there who looks to be the conductor of this pizza symphony. My order was ready and he had the guy who was helping me go through and double-check my order real quickly. Meanwhile, the conductor was going over, under, and around his staff to snag me celery, and dipping sauces, pizza toppings, etc. I will say, they did forget to add a refrigerated item to my order, but it was quickly snatched up when I mentioned it. I really feel for the people working in this establishment. Washington is just over the bridge and due to Covid, they don't have any dine in options, so they are coming into Lewiston for their dining needs. This place will likely continue to stay busy, so give these people some respect and be patient as they too, are dealing with different times. Only complaint is I did not see anywhere on my online order to tip this amazing staff, and I didn't have cash on me. They absolutely deserve it. This review was the least I could do. I ordered delivery from here while I was staying with my family in an airbnb in Lewiston. I wanted to try something local and we were all in the mood for pizza! Delivery time was estimated to be about an hour and we received it in about 45-50 minutes. We got a pepperoni and a cheese pizza with a caesar salad and garlic knots. They forgot the marinara for the knots, but that ranch definitely made up for it. The ranch was so good! Lol. Garlic knots are worth it as well. So good. The consistency of the pizza ranges from hot and fresh to sincerely stale. I'm sure all the ingredients are purchased frozen or canned, which can be ok, but the variation in topping amounts can leave one questioning the meaning of "double pepperoni". Points off making it only three stars because I was told it was too late as my pizzas were already ready to go in the oven. Didn't care for the Ball Park, mostly because of the mustard sauce. Came in for their weekly extra large special which in this case was the Meat Lover Pizza. Not bad per se but whatever is one step below mediocre. It was a greasy Pizza, light on toppings and cheese and nearly nonexistent sauce. It had pretty much sogged through the middle of pizza with grease. And just didn't kind of have any taste other than salt. The place itself seems clean and the employees seem extremely attentive. I saw them being very kind to several the families that were coming in, so maybe it's more of a family destination type of place. But great take out pizza it's not. read more

We are from out of town and have found things we like here but when returning to town have discovered things change or drop from the menu pretty regularly. We finally decided to try this place. I'd seen great ads at the local movie theatre, and the food always looked delicious. We stopped by shortly before noon on a weekend. It was just getting busy. I decided to order a meatball sandwich. I was a little surprised that we were not welcomed. No hello, no may I help you, no thank you for my order. Ok. I'll let that go. My sandwich took about 15 minutes. Pizzas look like they were taking about that long, as well. Plan ahead if you're in a hurry. My friend ordered the pizza buffet, which was good and offers plenty of options. My sandwich was ok. The bread was toasted and it was pretty full. The meatballs were juicy and had a good flavor. The sauce used has vegetables in it. The sandwich came with a 1.0oz of Ruffles chips for $8.79. The pizza buffet is around $10.00. We were in the restaurant about 45 minutes and no one checked on us. I highly doubt this is the norm. For good pizza, this is the place to go to Lewiston. I may return, but would stick to the pizza and recommend they work on customer service a bit. read more

I was in Lewiston, ID for a few days on business. I always try out local places when I travel instead of eating at a national franchise place. Good friend recommended this place, so I decided to check it out. He warned me they are doing some construction so don't be put off by this. It's the old judging a book by its cover thing. Go inside, you'll like it. They have a very good selection on the menu with all kinds of pasta dishes, specialty sandwiches, salads and of course - pizza. There are a number of specialty pizzas too, but I opted for my favorite cheese and mushroom. Now if you've ordered a national brand pizza you know how few toppings you get for your money. For a mushroom pizza you can count the total number of individual mushrooms you get on two hands. Well at Southway Pizza I was impressed when my pizza arrived with a full layer of mushrooms covering the entire pizza. It's the little things that count in life and to me this counts! The crust was done just right - not too soft and not too hard. Also the sauce they use isn't over salty. The blend of crust, sauce and toppings makes this one of the best pizza I've ever had. In addition, my son ordered the meatball sandwich and said it was fantastic. He are it in a couple of minutes so I'll just leave it at that. The people working at Southway are great. A woman before me ordered one serious to-go order. She sat behind us in the next booth while her order was getting ready. When it arrived the crew member read back the order and, from what I could make out, the crew member added some additional stuff free of charge or something like that. The woman who placed the order was very happy and commented: "you are awesome!" The restaurant has a nice atmosphere inside and had Monday night football showing on the TV - always a plus! So if live in Lewiston, ID or just passing through, you should find your way over to Southway Pizza for some friendly service and really good food. read more

Nice place for lunch, however they struggle with consistency, perhaps this is from staff turnover. We order pizzas for delivery and rarely do they delivery within 45 minutes. Very slow some days. Tonight it took 53 minutes and the pizza was hard and cold. Blah. Should have called Fazarris. Chicken chipotle pizza is good, but again, the consitancy issue comes up, a couple of times the sauce was missing or it was smothered, a quick call and sometime later they delivered a replacement. My recommendation is to eat in and avoid delivery. I read a review which stated "I wonder how Fazarri's stays in business" I tell you how; consistant quality and delicious pizza. Please step it up Southway, we want to like this a 4 star place. read more

Best quality pizza in Lewiston AND they have other great options as well! Pasta, salads, wraps, Stromboli... you can't go wrong if you need to feed a group of hungry people with one of their specialty pizzas. My favorite is the Garlic Chicken Alfredo pizza or the Loaded Potato pizza! read more

To be honest, I've only "dined in" once. But I regularly switch between Fazzarri's and Southway when ordering delivered pizza. I've never experienced the long wait/cold pizza problems others have mentioned. Actually, Southway usually delivers faster than Fazzarri's...and I live in Clarkston. IMO, Southway is an underrated pizza and Fazzarri's is an overrated pizza. But these are the best pizzas for miles, and I love them both. Ironically, if I lived across the river, in Lewiston, Fazzarri's wouldn't deliver to me. Southway offers much better Italian dishes then Fazzarri's. Southway ' sandwiches are very unique and pretty amazing. I have not tried any of their pasta offering, but others have told me I should. Take a chance on any of their specialty pizzas.
