What does your city look like from 10,000 feet? This is our approach into Cancun... and wow Made possible by @southwestairlines -- the #1 on-time carrier, and they proved it again today . And landed 20 minutes early!! But it wasn't just the smooth flight... it was the people The crew was incredible -- friendly, fun, and full of that LUV energy And the best part... we got to celebrate Mike & Mary's 51st wedding anniversary (Wait until you see them ) Passengers from all over the plane came up to congratulate them -- total strangers showing pure kindness, love, and support And let's talk seating for a second... I know not everyone loves assigned seating, but it has worked out AMAZING for me I got a whole row to myself today And when I travel with my spouse -- we ALWAYS get to sit together Moments like this restore your faith in people #travel #cancun #southwest #luv #anniversary #feelgood #kindness #travelmoments #goodvibes #airtravel read more

If you're going to fly people to Cancun you shouldn't make them wait an hour for luggage. Crazy!

Flight #1180 was canceled due to technical problems but that was the beginning of the real problem. The crew was magnificent throughout the ordeal trying everything within their scope to keep passengers comfortable and reassured but once they realized the flight was not going to happen and that another airplane would be needed that is when this review was warranted. The crew deplaned us for a second time and bused us to a terminal for holding they did not offer food or drink and they did not say a word about compensation. I have been flying with Southwest for 30 years and I have known them to be a wonderful travel partner but this is a breakdown in customer service. Conformation #36VFZ read more

Southwest is my preferred airline, and it's usually pretty good regardless of the airport however I have to admit that my experience with Southwest in Cancun was by far the best! When you first step into the terminal you quickly notice a number of self-service kiosks which you must first check in with, this will scan your passport and ask you several questions regarding your luggage and time in Mexico. Once completed you will move on to the baggage drop off, and hard your passport and ticket over to the friendly Southwest Agent who will weigh your bags and check them for you. That's it, then you are off to security, the total process took less than 5 minutes! Kudos to Southwest, I wish that they would implement this process across the board because it was a huge timesaver, it even allowed me extra time to browse the duty free shops! Boarding was just as easy, however it can be slightly confusing as there isn't much space set aside for the Southwest Check In process, however the staff made it work by cutting down the A, B, C boarding groups into 4 lines instead of the standard two. Overall this worked great and we were on the plan in no time. Another great Southwest experience! read more

I paid for Early Bird check-in and was given an A boarding position. When I presented my boarding pass at the gate I was stopped at the door by security to under go another bag check. So as I'm standing there watching all the other A people walk on the plane and started on the B people, they finally finished inspecting my bag and let me through the gate. So what good is Early Bird when you're stopped at the gate and miss your boarding position? Not only that, when we went through U.S. customs in Houston, I was again pulled aside at security to undergo a thorough pat-down search. I can tell you I am the furthest from looking like a terrorist and totally felt like one that day. read more

Beware of airport hustlers. Especially with transportation & car rentals. Just keep walking to where you have to go.

Business class basically makes a full travel experience where refined surroundings and dependable support blend together, sort of seamless. Instead of treating the flight like just time from point A to point B, travelers could experience it as an important piece of the trip. **Purpose-Driven Travel, Thoughtfully Designed** Each itinerary gets shaped by different responsibilities, plans, and personal expectations. Whether passengers were getting ready for an international business engagement, starting a long awaited holiday, or joining a meaningful celebration , business class adjusts smoothly to what they need. Flexible arrangements, along with practical conveniences, helped the whole trip stay comfortable , dependable, and easier to handle. **A Cabin Created for Personal Comfort** The cabin offered a calm and refined environment where travelers could choose how they wanted to spend their time in the air. Spacious seating, elegant interiors, advanced inflight technology, and thoughtfully arranged personal features supported productivity, entertainment, relaxation, and rest. Every element worked together to provide privacy, flexibility, and a balanced sense of well-being throughout the flight. **Hospitality That Adds Ease, Not Interruption** Premium care was expressed through details that complemented the passenger's pace. Well-presented cuisine, appealing drinks, carefully selected comforts, and varied entertainment added interest without making the experience feel overly managed. Cabin crew offered warm, observant assistance while allowing personal space to remain genuinely personal. **A Clearer Path from Departure to Arrival** Business class benefits really felt like they reached past the seat and into the whole airport flow. The priority kind of procedures, coordinated boarding that seems to work on purpose, reliable baggage support , and arrival services that are actually organized. All of that made the waiting feel shorter and the important transitions simpler. Travelers could get through each step with more confidence, still keeping schedules intact and protecting that bit of time that everyone wants to save. **A Journey That Complements What Comes Next** In a similar way, the trip itself seemed to compliment what comes next. Business class didn't just mean a nicer cabin, it improved the complete rhythm of travel. The comfort, dependable coordination and a bit of personalized attention, they all fit together so each stage felt steady and purposeful. By the time passengers reached their destination, they weren't just "there", they were ready to step into the next experience with sharper focus and genuine excitement. read more

We got stranded in a foreign country with zero money thanks to Southwest. I had to book four different flights before they would finally honor the "confirmation" they emailed me. Not once did I get an email or a text telling me I didn't actually have a flight. The first three bookings were cancelled for reasons still unclear to me, but the money was taken out of my account. Because of this, we spent 16 hours in two days waiting in lines, only to spend the night on the concrete floor because we no longer had money for an uber or a hotel. Wife suffers from MS and seizures and we couldn't get them to bring a wheelchair, compounding the frustration and making the trip almost impossible. What did they do to make up for this hassle? Not a damn thing. Stay away at all costs, especially if flying to or from a foreign country. -Dr Josh read more

Southwest stranded us in a foreign country with no money. I had to book four flights before they finally honored the confirmation email. They never informed me that I didn't have a flight. The first three bookings were canceled for unclear reasons, and the money was deducted from my account. As a result, we spent 16 hours in two days waiting in lines, only to spend the night on the concrete floor because we couldn't afford an Uber or a hotel. I have MS and seizures, and they refused to bring a wheelchair, adding to our frustration and making the trip nearly impossible. What measures were taken to compensate for this inconvenience? Absolutely nothing. I strongly advise you to avoid traveling with them at all costs, particularly when flying to or from a foreign country. read more
