Great airline from my perspective. It's the only thing I fly if possible. Most of the time my flights are early and not cancelled. My bag arrives and I have zero qualms about the overall product/service they provide...they even found my wife's purse after we left the airport and realized at the rental car counter. (After 3 or 4 phone calls we located and returned to airport to pick it up) Phenomenal teamwork and a big thank you. Respectfully, Bryan OKC

Southwest is definitely not who I usually fly because I am definitely the type of flyer who likes to pick her seat, but the price was too good not to use. Unfortunately for us AFTER we made it through security we received a text our flight was delayed an hour. Well than things went worse and it ended up being delayed 4 HOURS!!!! Talk about a long day with kids in an airport. Well unlike most airlines Southwest definitely made up for it by giving us EACH $100 vouchers!!!! We ended up with $500 worth of flying credits!!! No airline has EVER compensated for their delays like this; at least not anyone I've used. Just off this experience alone will make me Southwest Airlines again.

Southwest at the Indianapolis Airport was similar to my experience elsewhere. They have fewer self-tagging kiosks than other SW airports, but that might be due to the number of flights. Their system for notifying you of delays may need tweaked so you don't get a barrage of messages in a few minutes with updates that keep changing. Get your info correct before sending out an alert. On the plane, it's the same as most normal flights. The flight attendants were funny on this one which makes the trip better. Yeah, some of the jokes are old, but still, it's fun to watch people who may not have heard them before react. I usually fly the airline with a direct flight and this was the winner for my trip home to Orlando. Thanks to all of the Southwest Employees who got me home safely!

It is always a pleasure riding with Southwest. The flight attendants made this ride enjoyable. This was the first flight I have had as a solo traveler. Thank you, Southwest, for making it enjoyable.

What makes a great airline? Hassle free departures and on time arrivals. Oh yeah, your bag(s) arriving in baggage claim in a reasonable time too! Who does it better than Southwest Airlines. The Indy crew was excellent on my most recent and no hiccups whatsoever. The airport is the best in the country too as voted on by travelers. No ones perfect and yes I've had a bump, or two that I faintly remember flying into Indy over a dozen times. However, the good far outweighs the negative. Another reason I love Southwest is their no bag fee for one free. Southwest Airlines motto of "Low fares. Nothing to hide. That's transferency". If they keep delivering great service and low fares I see no reason to not be a loyal passenger.

Even with a full flight, and in the middle of Group B (B25); I still ended up with a window seat.

Instead of helping passengers, staff seemed more interested in publicly shaming people over bag sizes and carry-on policies. Multiple times, employees used the microphone to call out passengers for having the "wrong" bags in a tone that felt condescending rather than informative. During boarding, staff would interrogate passengers about what type of seat they purchased, as if it somehow justified how they were being treated. The entire process felt hostile and unnecessarily confrontational. I understand that airlines have policies, but there is a respectful way to enforce them. Frontier's staff made customers feel like an inconvenience rather than paying passengers. Traveling is stressful enough without being embarrassed or talked down to in front of a crowd. There are plenty of airlines that manage to enforce rules while still treating people with dignity. Based on this experience, I will not be flying Frontier again and would not recommend it to others.

This was my first -- and absolutely my last -- experience flying with Frontier. I was traveling…read morewith the exact baggage allowed: one backpack (smaller than the permitted dimensions), my laptop bag, and a small fabric pouch worn cross-body that contained essential medications -- nitroglycerin, an asthma inhaler, and my pill case -- plus a tiny wallet with my ID. At the gate, an agent aggressively insisted that this small medical pouch counted as a "third bag." I explained calmly what it was and why I needed it, but he gave me two choices: pay for it or throw it away. Those are not choices for a passenger carrying life-saving medication. In the rush, I tried to stuff the pouch into my backpack. The zipper got caught on a piece of clothing and tore. Now the bag would not close properly. They then forced me to put it in the baggage sizer, and because it wasn't closing, I had to literally force it down. When it didn't slide in "easily," they told me to go back, fix it, or pay. At this point my blood pressure was through the roof. I was humiliated, stressed, and nearly missed my flight. In fact, I was the last passenger to board. No passenger should be treated this way, especially over a tiny pouch holding medication that clearly doesn't fall under "excess luggage." The staff was rude, inflexible, and showed zero compassion or common sense. On my return trip, I flew with Spirit -- and the difference was night and day. Friendly, reasonable, and professional. Spirit is now my go-to low-cost airline. Frontier will never see me again.

The confirmations not only reminded me of the actual time of my flight, but when I could check-in, as well as delays and gate changes. Three days before my outbound flight back to Chicago, I was informed via text message that my flight had been canceled due to FAA-mandated airspace restrictions during the government shutdown. I reacted immediately, booking a new flight which ended up being an earlier time than the previous. It is situations like that where I appreciate updates because I would not have wanted to find out the day of. Now rather than download the United Airlines mobile application, I visited www.united.com where I was able to check-in for my flight early, as well as send my boarding pass to my phone via text in the process. As someone who had just a carry-on bag with me, it allowed me to head straight to TSA rather than to see a United Airlines agent once I arrived at Indianapolis International Airport. As for my airport experience, TSA was not crowded at all despite it being Indianapolis International Airport. I always dread going through security because of the possibility of congested lines, but all went smoothly! The only things I removed from my body were my jacket, and my bracelets placing each item inside either the bin, or my jacket pocket. After that, I was well on my way to locate the gate. The United Airlines gate was easy to find, thanks to posted signage within the terminal; the gate appeared professional with a very well-maintained seating area in comparison to other airlines I have flown out of. I rarely encounter boarding areas with clean seats and no trash left behind, which is just hard to unsee. I loved that there were charging outlets that worked because it gave me the chance to charge my cell phone before boarding my flight back to Chicago. Whether it be the individual booths or the workstations, I was grateful to see so many areas and seats with charging outlets. Boarding with this airline was very painless! Announcements were made which gave me the time to browse around the terminal prior to the time my boarding group boarded. It was by far one of the best boarding experiences I have ever had out of my many times of flying. I feared that my flight back to Chicago would be delayed, but thankfully it was not. With having to change my flight 3 days ago, I was very concerned and glad that it did not happen. As for the airplane interior, I loved that the seat was spacious enough to where I could adjust myself while seated. I had an acceptable amount of foot space to where my military-style backpack could fit underneath the seat in front of me. There were no charging outlets within my seat, but thankfully I was able to charge my phone prior to boarding the airplane. While onboard the flight, I got some rest during this short flight back to Chicago, which I am grateful for. Onboard, the only communication I had with the flight attendants was the boarding flight hello, and the airplane departure "thank you" and "goodbye" greeting. In closing, I am very open to choosing and recommending United Airlines to a friend, relative or colleague after this experience. Safe travels, and blessings to all that read this review. ~ Good vibes coming your way ~ Thomas G
