I booked a ride from my apartment to SFO airport yesterday. I was emailed my confirmed time of pick…read moreup at 11:25am, but was not called to be picked up until 11:50am. That was the first thing that went wrong. Additionally, the driver was yelling at me to be in the right place for him to pick me up, but wasn't even at the right place to pick me up. All that confusion added another 7-8 minutes, so we left Santa Clara a couple of minutes before noon. After I was loaded into the van, he kept saying "we are very late, we are very late" and yes, we were about 30 min off schedule. Then, we stopped to get 4 more passengers. Mind you, all the while, I notice that the gas light was on when he picked ME up in Santa Clara. There was a passenger who sat up in the front seat who repeatedly asked if she was going to make her 1:55pm flight. (we got there at the international terminal at 1:35 so I'm sure she missed her flight) He was driving recklessly, speeding up and making abrupt stops. It was very unsafe. There was general consensus in the van that he was a terrible driver and had bad manners. He kept calling Manuel and was saying that he didn't have control over how late we were going to be. At one point when the driver was loading the last passenger's bags, he piled them up so high that he couldn't see out of the rear van's window. Another passenger said that it wasn't safe, but the driver dismissed the passenger rudely saying that he does that all the time. This doesn't seem safe! He also wasted more time by having to stop to get gas before we finally make it to the airport...one hour and 40 minutes later from when I was picked up. When someone pointed out that he didn't have his seat belt on, the driver again was ride, saying "come on man, just COME ON!!" I think everyone was happy when we got to the airport. He stopped at the international terminal first, and everyone got off but me. When we got to the domestic terminal, he took my bags out of the truck, and as he threw my duffel bag down, the handle was BROKEN!! He looked at me and said "Oh, I guess someone must have pulled it off." REALLY??!!! Is that all I get? I was in a rush and upset so I gave him my $2 tip and left. BOTTOM LINE: THEY SUCK!!!!

I paid $44.60 on taxi to SJC and this shuttle service charged $39 flat fee from Sjc to my house. I was a bit hesitant about using this company. As I was walking with my family to the taxi area at SJC, I saw that they were trying to get my attention. "Where are you going to?" I ignored them thinking that a taxi is a safer and more reliable. We wanted a mini van taxi and the taxi coodinator said we need to wait about 5 minutes for a mini van taxi. I asked the taxi guy about the shuttle service and he said they offer flat rate and have permits to pick up at the airport. He suggested it might be cheaper if i am going 14 miles. My shuttle driver, Anthony, was driving a mini van and he quoted me $39. Driver was friendly and said all the shuttles for this company mini vans. I will defiantly call them next time I need shuttle service.

Additionally, despite needing to stay at the pickup location until 3:15pm, they left early, which wasn't ideal for the timing of our event.
