I have driven over an hour to Scottsdale Tactical twice with the intention of purchasing a firearm,…read moreand unfortunately both experiences were disappointing. The staff came across as rude, unwelcoming, and unwilling to provide basic customer service. As someone looking to make a significant purchase, I expected to feel comfortable asking questions and receiving guidance, but that was not my experience. I've honestly had much friendlier and more helpful service at large chain sporting goods stores than I did here. Customer service plays a huge role in where people choose to spend their money, especially when buying firearms, and Scottsdale Tactical fell well short of that expectation.

They were happy to answer questions and made the whole process easy, especially for someone who hadn't been there before. The facility itself was really nice--clean, well maintained, and professional. They also had a great selection of rental firearms, including some options that I don't normally get a chance to shoot back home. I also thought the pricing for the range, rentals, and ammunition was very reasonable, especially considering the selection they had available. Overall, I had a great time and would definitely come back the next time I'm in the Scottsdale area. Highly recommended for anyone visiting from out of town or looking for a quality range.
