    Bronco Outer Banks

I found the Bronco I wanted on their website for a great price and Aaron made sure I got it! I drove all the way from Odessa and extremely glad I did. They really wanted to make sure I was happy with my purchase

Went in to test Drive Expedition Limited Stock #s 241459 242200 identical trim packages (2024 USED Courtesy Vehicles both w/ 3K miles +/- each) trying to sell as new vehicles. Lie #1 Dealt with Chris H, nice enough guy. But then you get Ryan involved and the bait and switch begins never honoring the price listed on the dealer website, in fact raising the price up and down 4 times this Friday, so we walked out said we will think about it. As we were leaving I reminded Ryan you have 34 Expeditions on your lot, I don't need to buy one, we explained this to you all in the beginning of the conversation. Spoke with Chris H.through text his last line read "We will not miss your business". So I texted him back and simply asked do you really mean that last line? His response (without reading back) I never say anything I don't mean". I replied, Really you meant "We will not miss your business". Took him a day but I guess maybe someone read it to him or maybe he actually go it - We went back in Friday - and Chris H.was busy so we started working with Elijah, always stating we don't want Chris H.to miss out and we don't want a 1K car payment, again enters Ryan to mess up the deal, First Elijah went back and forth twice then Ryan two more times, Ryan must think people are stupid and can't read, don't have a memory of the previous encounter or how many times he keeps changing the price on the vehicle. the vehicles were listed on their website as 65571 and 65759 (Remember these are both Courtesy Vehicles Considered Used 2024 with +/- 3K miles on them (advertised on their website with less miles) that was Lie #2. They jacked the price at one time to over 91K what the are they thinking. They say you can't have the website price and a low interest rate, I am calling Bull (you know what) these guys are full of garbage, bait and switch tactics at the highest level. A good salesman wants the sale and will make anything happen including listening and hearing your customer (which Ryan lacks in both aspects). A customer can have both - but when you are a greedy dealership - you just keep baiting and switching the price up. When I first met these salesmen (I use this term loosely) 1) no payment over 1K preferably 800 at max 2) Don't want this back and forth 3) I don't need to buy 3) I have a nice vehicle with new trim and tires less than a month old 4) I want the best interest, the website price, and willing to buy your Used Courtesy Vehicle with +/- 3k miles on it 5) the website price for the fact that it is USED / NOT NEW, again non listening is the name of their game. I phoned on the weekend to discuss and Elijah answered the phone in sales - I asked to when Mr. Bonnet would be working I would like to discuss the treatment, Elijah young man, needing the sale that Ryan screwed him out of, asked if I could hold a moment then he put I don't know who and I don't care who he was, I do know his extension is 5895 he called himself the Director of Sales (titles mean nothing to me - for they are just that a title). He said would you be willing to take another vehicle that someone turns is with Buyers Remorse, let's say 20K miles or less on it - I said you do realize I offered to buy your USED Courtesy Vehicle with +/- 3k miles on it - why would I want to go up in miles - I told him this - read the Art of a Deal (read something to help you understand sales) - Understand the want and need - I wanted to buy an Expedition, but I don't need the Expedition. You Need to Sell the Expedition, because at this point you now have 37 Expeditions on your lot all/or most with the 2024 Year on them. I ended the call for I was in the store and don't have more time to waste on this nonsense. I told MR. Extension 5895, I paid cash for my King Ranch Expedition, and my husband just made a 1M deal with a hospital system - my husband went to the table with a deal, they countered, he met them in the middle and bam he landed the deal - he had no need to go back and forth so many wasteful times and ruin it - So comparing this Southwest Ford and my husband - I guess my husband understand the Art of a Deal. Buyer beware before you step in the dealership, take photos of the paperwork they bring with the continual changes in price and payment, I think the Gilchrist family, should pay more attention to their customer treatment and ratings, simply because Ryan and Ext 5895 does not. I should have read here first with all the bad reviews, but we didn't and we went and wasted our time with the bait and switch tactic - I do not need a vehicle, I wanted one - so it is very easy for people like me to walk away from this behavior and bad treatment of customers. I feel everyone needs customer service training, mostly Ryan on how not to lose a deal. Original Date January 26th, we walked out of, Chris asked us to come back Bell to Bell Friday, January 31st that he would make a deal - above is a combination of those two dates and the mess that occurred.

Platinum Cadillac in Terrell Tx needs to learn the word Intergrity. I was told the old man has integrity. The younger generation sad. 2 people can do a lot of damage to a company's integrity. Then the rest have to lie to cover it up. 1,Price to replace fuel system. 2,Fixed,runs great but .....another issue(radiator) 3,fixed.. now Not running again....... I told them I had the fuel system replaced before. Called me and said I didn't have the fuel system replaced. Receipt shows I did Called me a liar. .... If they would have put the kit on there wouldn't be a problem right now . Hire shady mechanics.

We saw another XT5 that she liked at Shottenkirk and asked if we could sign a promissory note or some other method for a week and drive the 2017 XT5. We are both retired and did not wish to spend anymore than full price for the replacement car. Instead, the sales rep worked on 100% financing with their favorite financing company -and- a $12,000 warranty plan. We continually said no, but the finance and warranty/maintenance plan guy just ignored me and kept churning out the expensive 100% finance and external warranty/oil change plan. Some of my wife's signatures and other documents seem a bit fishy; but my main complaint is forceful way we, as customers, were treated. "We are aged retirees on a fixed income and can't afford any payments!" I told the sales guy and his manager over and over. Our basic needs were not met. Instead it was a "fight to the finish"; with the dealer's rough tactics winning them an additional $12,000 for a warranty we neither wanted nor needed. I don't recommend anyone purchase any car, new or used from this business. They DO have a great service department, but that was the only thing I saw that was good at this business. BTW: they only had one key for the car. I had to arrange for and have an additional FOB out of pocket. Leonard & Patricia Jensen Weatherford, Texas buck0shot@icloud.com

It was towed to to Jerry's Hyundai on May 19, 2025. It took them several days to determine what the problem was, then then I was told that they didn't know how to fix it and had to wait for the national repair problem center (or something to that effect) to get back to them. They finally figured out what was wrong with it the car and how to go about fixing it. At this time I was working with "Kim" at Hyundai National Consumer Affairs, and while she was very nice and sympathetic, she was not able to get the dealership to contact either me or her. Kim seemed to gather information from me to put together with information she was getting from the dealership but had no ability to actually help in any way. (BTW, the service advisor, Bobby Lewis, almost never answered his phone and the only way I could find out what was going on with my car was to visit him in person at the dealership). OK - NOW it's June 1 and get a call from Bobby Lewis telling my that the part had come in BUT the hail storm the night before did a lot of damage and that I should contact MY insurance company. It seems that your dealership only has insurance for their own cars, NOT their customers' cars. So.. I'm out the 500 dollar deductible for my own insurance. A few days later, I was also told by Kim that the dealership ordered the wrong part and it was not compatible with the car. After not getting any response from Bobby Lewis about when the new ICCU part would arrive, I went to complain to the General Manager, Doyle Maynard, of the dealership, he said that my wife and I were lying - I told him that "Kim" at the National Consumer Affairs told me that the first part was the wrong part, Doyle said that she didn't know what she was talking about and that they DIDN'T order the wrong part, and that Bobby called us on several occasions. His quote was "I saw the call sheets on the account." I asked him to see those call sheets and he said NO. - By the way, I have a recording of part of the conversation between myself and Doyle Maynard where he argued with me about who was telling the truth. This conversation was not pleasant and Doyle was very aggressive and tried his best to intimidate me and my wife. And I'm pretty sure that all the calls between myself and Kim from the HNCA department were recorded and could be reviewed. FAST FORWARD (actually SLOW forward) and my car was able to drive on July 11 (May19 to June 11) with $18,000 of hail damage. I took it to Jerry's Collision and finally got the car back on October 1, 2025. I must say that the people I worked with at the Collision Center were very nice and responsive, BUT they also made several mistakes that increased the time for the repair. Geico said "20 days" for the repair, Donnie Kern told me they were busy and said it would be more like "30 days". It ended up being 10 weeks! Josh Mayfield was very nice, and due to an error by one of the technicians, a critical part was thrown away and they had to find and order a new part which was going to delay the repair even more. Josh offered to pay our rental car fee from the time the discarded part issue was discovered until we got our car back. This was very nice of him to make this offer and he was always a gentleman and very responsive. Not at all the horrible experience we had at the service department with Bobby Lewis and Doyle Maynard! I'd say that the work that the Collision Center did was very good, but not quite excellent. I can still see some very minor non-smoothness where some of the dents were repaired, and the paint job on the new hood was not great. All in all, it was a truly horrible experience with Jerry's Hyundai and I will NOT be taking my car back to Jerry's Hyundai again, ever!

This is my second car purchased from this dealership…read more I liked the sales people with whom I dealt but the sale was riddled with the classic schemes of lesser dealers of the past. This is NOT the Jerry's Hyundai I encountered in 2019, but a business mimicking the dreaded Shottenkirk empire of dealerships, famous for their deceptions. Online, I downgraded my near show-condition low-mileage trade for tiny blemishes, rating it as Very Good. Jerry's valued it at about $2,100 below the going market price. I deemed that as acceptable considering the tax advantage and effort of selling. When I arrived with the car at Jerry's for an initial test drive, the salesperson agreed and took multiple photos of the car. We test-drove the 2026 Tucson I'd found online. I brought my wife back the next day for a final drive and possible purchase. We opted for a slightly more expensive model, adding $2,740 to the MRSP. When the initial numbers were handed to me, they seemed unusually high: the dealer had devalued my trade-in $3,300 or about 18%. When I apologized to my wife for bringing her to the dealership under the false pretense of a reasonable trade and announced my intention to leave, the dealership agreed to honor the online appraisal. Still, our projected bottom line was off. Lo and behold, at the final tally a new $1,495 item labeled "Accessories" that was not on the window sticker had suddenly appeared in their cost estimates. "This is just for window tinting and nitrogen in the tires," the salesperson explained. Undetectable window tinting and nitrogen? No documentation for tinting film, no tinting contractor contact information, no discernible darkness of the windows. Nitrogen costs little more to use in lieu of air for inflation. I should know, as a former Air Force instructor pilot of ten years, an airline captain with a 33-year career: we always used nitrogen in our tires. Granted, I have purchased dozens of cars beginning in 1972, and have encountered similar sales tactics in the past. But, based on my 2019 Jerry's purchase, the detailed online cost itemization, and initial interaction with the stellar sales staff, I felt this transaction would be transparent, straightforward and free of surprises. Not quite. Buyers need to beware that these methods are now being used at Jerry's and factor them into your comparisons with other dealers' offerings in advance.
