Wifey and I went for a couple of overnights to SFO from Burbank with United Express and wanted to park somewhere easy. Somehow we got "lost" after following wifey's directions (yep, blame it on her, LOL) and instead of ending up at the long term parking lot, found this gem of a cheapie lot streetside. Nice older gentleman in a booth, parked, got the ticket, moseyed on to the airport in about 2 minutes flat. Came back 2 days later, another nice older gentleman in the booth, paid $36 for two days and went on our merry way. Nothing "happened" to the vehicle - I guess Tesla is not that interesting to thieves, but ofc I could be wrong - and it was a very easy entrance and exit. Yep, will use again! read more

I would def park here again! I reserved online through the Global Airport Parking website at 2am on the same day as dropping off my car. Used their coupon code (found on google) for $2 off my reservation. Paid $8 something online to reserve, and will pay $14 something when leaving (picking up car same day as drop off). I dropped off my car at around 8 am and the attendant was helpful and kind! He wrote down my details on my ticket and gave it back so I could give back when leaving. Parking was easy- plenty of spots. The area is fenced in- however there is an opening in the fence for pedestrians to walk to the airport- and it's right next to a bus stop where I saw a lot of trash and a shopping cart with junk in it. So although it's fenced and there is an attendant- my guess is that it's not the safest/most secure option. So I'd def recommend not leaving any valuables in your car (obviously). It's an easy walk from the lot to the airport- using a crosswalk- only about 5-6 min depending on your airline. And it's paved so you'd be fine with a rolling bag. I've never done any airport parking before- but I'd recommend this for the price and ease! read more

I was hesitant about all the reviews here because it was a mixed grab bag lol But this was the only parking lot available for my travel plans out of Burbank airport. Pros: +Affordable at $15/day + taxes & fees +Easy booking through the Way app +Helpful and nice attendant on site Cons: -Narrow outdoor self park lot -Still have to pay the balance at the lot with the attendant (it requires a deposit upon booking and pay for the total in advance) -Crossing the street to/from the airport is dangerous but I could just use the cross walk further out LOL Thankfully, no damage on my car and it just collected dust over 3 days. May go back if it's the only available lot. read more

Thiefs love this parking lot, flew to florida for a week, came back to a damaged keyhole, luckily the thiefs did not gain entry to my car and gave up, most likely to go break into the cars next to mine. We usually go to Las Vegas during the first week of March Madness. I decided that we needed to verify we would have a parking space available. The previous year the Burbank airport closed Lot A. This made parking a mess. I reserved a spot at Southwest Parking and it was a breeze. I would highly recommend this facility. It is a short walk to the current terminals from the lot. The only draw back was it is one way in and I had to back out to the exit. Other than that it was a totally excellent experience. read more

I had zero issues with parking here for an extended weekend recently. It's a long and skinny lot, all uncovered, but right next to the airport. I made reservations online and paid for part of the fee ahead of time, and paid for the rest as I left. There is no shuttle, but it was very clear on the website that there isn't one; it's a short 5-10 minute walk to the airport that was not an issue with a small roller carry-on and a backpack (although if you had more baggage or an older set of folks, this would be a big issue). The lot is REALLY crowded and tight; during a busy hour I could see picking up/dropping off being quite stressful. Regardless, the two different on-site parking employees were friendly and helpful. There is a valet option, or you can take your keys and leave your car parked where you park it yourself. On review of my credit card statement, no weird charges or anything. Will definitely return as this was a great price without any major yellow flags. read more

First, don't bother pre-purchasing your parking. It actually coasts MORE than if you were to buy it on site. $15/day plus a hefty service charge if you buy it online beforehand. Second, they are so unorganized. There was one guy collecting payment at Sunday at 8:45pm, a fairly busy time for the airport. When we arrived there was a line of ppl waiting to pay, and while he tried to get them processed, a line of cars started to form, also waiting to pay. The line was going against traffic, but who can blame them because the location of the payment kiosk is at the entrance, not the exit. This caused a complete jam-up and the poor dude was trying to manage it all in his own, with cars honking and growing more and more impatient. Also, they overcharged me. I prepaid a deposit of $20 and then he charged me the entire fee again, so I double paid the $20. I told him that was wrong but he already ran my credit card and then said he didn't know how to refund me. He said I need to call tomorrow and try to figure it out. I'm not sure why everyone is complaining about this place - it was perfect for what was needed. We paid $60 for 4 days and came back to a car that was perfectly fine. To those complaining about no shuttle, the terminal is a short breath away. It's really not an issue so long as you have 1,2 checked bags and a pair of legs. Note - you get what you pay for. This lot is a total rip off. I had a reservation for 7 days at $15 a day with proof to the attendant and he would not let me out of the lot until I paid $18 a day. Pulling in and out of this lot is next to impossible as it is a one way drive with parking on both sides. you either have to back up the entire length of the lot going in or coming out. If you aren't prepared to walk a half mile with your luggage, then don't park here. If you don't mind the walk and saving some dough, and using your driving skills, then this place is OK. I found it on ChearpAirportparking.org. I paid the $7 deposit, but the price is exactly the same if you don't make a reservation. I've seen some other Yelp reviews that say to use the discount code "cheapism," so next time I'll try it and see if it works and you might save five bucks. It was .61 miles from my car to the entrance of the Southwest Airlines terminal. There is no shuttle bus. You'll have to jaywalk and go to the other side of the street where there's a sidewalk. The walk wasn't bad, but if you have lots of luggage or are wearing dress shoes or heels, I would say it's probably not the a place you'd like to park. It's a little wonky. I drove in there and the guy wasn't much help. You just park. There's only one way in and one way out and it's a narrow roadway, not enough room for two cars going in opposite directions, which means someone will probably have to back up a long long way to the very end let the other car in or out. Fortunately, I had no problem except when I was exiting, and it was right by the entrance/exit. It's half the price of the other parking lots. It's a little dicey, but I'd still park there again. If I had a really nice car, I probably wouldn't though. read more

I will never park here again. And I would never recommend this parking area. There is NO shuttle service to the terminal. It is a 15 minute walk. So if you or your passengers have mobility issues please be aware. Also my car was parked there for one week. When I returned I discovered my Registration Sticker on my License Plate had been stolen. Also my car had suffered minor abrasion damage. There is no security, only a lot attendant that collects money. There is no theft deterrent lighting or cameras. It is very dark at night. Criminals can access the parking by walking across the railroad tracks and into the lot as there is no fencing. It cost me an additional 28.00 to replace my stolen registration sticker. This place is JUST ACROSS THE STREET from the terminals, people!! Stop being so lazy! At $6 a day, you really can't complain. Really. Make a reservation online first, but even if you forget to, prepare to smile and ask politely and you'll be fine. I was able to on a holiday weekend and the attendants couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. I left my key with them, so essentially I received 'free valet' with it too. ;) My only concern would be walking around at night. My flight got in on a weekday after 11PM and it was dark as hell around Empire St. and the lot. If something happened to me, it would've been hard to see. But I'm a smart girl and I carry my pepper spray so it's all good. I even walked in the middle of the street at certain points just so I could stay in the streetlight. While this parking surface lot may be cheap, they have quite a bit of false advertising on their website (which is NOT ok). There is no shuttle, as they state on their website and anywhere they advertise runs every 10-20 mins, so expect at least a 15 min walk to the terminal. When you ask about the shuttle, they'll rudely tell you they know there's no shuttle, but nothing they can do about it. (Umm, you work for the company... report it up and remove it from the sites) Parking is inconveniently one-way. As I arrived (on a day it was pouring rain, no less), the attendants that were on duty said no words to me but gestures to where and what I needed to do (not all that clear). When I parked, I simply got a hand motion telling me from a distance that I should walk in a certain direction. (Again, initially expecting a shuttle service, as advertised). My flights were delayed so I picked my car up 4 hours beyond my reservation stated time --- somehow this meant I needed to be charged an additional full day!! When I asked why, Ernie the attendant just kept stating "it's 4 hours, it's a full day". I could understand an additional charge, but not a FULL DAY for a 24 hour establishment. Ernie was also a bit rude when I showed him my confirmation on my iPhone... said it was "too small" and was rather agitated that I didn't have a print out or something. I offered to zoom it in, but I wanted to know what he needed it enlarged on and he just snapped back "all of jt". All in all, save your energy and money and park somewhere else. And as a strong note to management perhaps find some new employees or do some up-training, and for goodness sakes UPDATE YOUR WEBSITE AND ADVERTS FOR ACCURACY. I was a bit leery about parking my car on the street for more than 3 days so I booked parking here to be on the safe side. I didn't have any issues with it. It's a short walk to the terminals. There's a walkway you can take to walk over there. I'm guessing they have a bigger lot for the overflow of cars that's a much further walk because of the amount of reviews saying they walked a long distance. The lady that greeted me when I arrived said the lot was overbooked so she was going to valet my car for free. I came back and it was in the same lot so I didn't have to walk far to get my car. The guy that was working when I arrived was much less friendly than the lady when I met when I first dropped my car off. Bring exact change and your receipt to avoid paying more than you're supposed to. They were going to charge me an extra day but I showed him my receipt stating that I had pre-paid $8 for the first day and he made a note of my receipt and took the extra $8 off. He didn't have any change so I was glad that I had enough cash on me to pay the rest of what I owed. It's a good deal and my car was just as as I had left it. I'm sure it's a crap shoot but I had no problems parking here. Knocking off a star because I noticed a significant scratch on the side of my door. Proceed with caution. Use promo code "cheapism" for $5 off your total. 3. Drive to the lot. 4. If you can, try to park on the left side after you enter the lot, because it's closer. 5. Walk 5 minutes to the airport terminal at Burbank Airport. Note: there is no shuttle from the parking lot to the airport, as the lot is literally right across the street from the airport. I had my car broken into and it looks like that person may have been living in my car while I was gone. There are no cameras and it backs up the railroad tracks. You are asking to get your car broken into and stolen if you park here. If I were a thief this would be the first place I went. No cameras, dark, out in the middle of no where, backs up to railroad tracks, the fence breaks off so you can walk right in with no one seeing you. If you read this and you still park here then I don't feel bad for you. PS. I told them what happened and they didn't care. The women didn't speak very good English and blankly replied, " Oh really. The Epic Battle: Cheap vs. Lazy. In the case of Southwest Parking, just south of Burbank/Glendale/Pasadena Bob Hope Airport (is that long enough?), Cheap trumps lazy. I hate paying $18/day or more at the parking lots east of the terminal. Yes, Parking Lot C is $9/day, but the shuttle is unreliable--which is worse than no shuttle at all. So, I went online and put Cheap Burbank Parking in Google and Southwest Parking came up. I had never even noticed this little strip of tarmac between the railroad tracks and Empire Avenue, south of the north/south runway. Or maybe I noticed it and figured it was a storage lot or off-site parking for employees at the building on the south side of the airport. No! It's long-term parking for $6/day!!! But, yes, there is a catch, so you have to jettison Lazy. The lot is about a quarter-mile from the terminals (the same distance as the Amtrak station it is west of) and there is no shuttle service. Yes, you lazy slob, you have to walk a whole quarter of a mile with your stuff. It takes a whopping 5 or 6 minutes to complete the arduous journey. Did I mention $6/day for parking? Yes, I think I did. I wouldn't recommend using Southwest Parking if it's raining or your flight is a 2pm on August 8, but if it's a decent time of the year and you don't mind the walk, this is a rip-roarin' good deal. read more

Oh my god... I followed Vivian's suggestion of booking on cheapairportparking.org and using the $5 off promo code, "cheapism," and it dropped my Friday to Sunday parking invoice to $7! I had my car parked for 3 days at $7. I'm willing to walk the extra 5 minutes to use this lot, and now I feel more inclined to fly out of Burbank than before due to this parking lot. If you come in on a busy day (i.e. Friday evening), then you'll probably end up parking really far down the lot. Even if you walk briskly, it still takes a good 10 minutes to get to the terminals. Factor this walk-time into your schedule. When I exited the lot after parking, I showed my printout to the female parking attendant. She looked it over, collected my remaining $6 since I had already paid a $1 deposit online, and I was off. Pretty seamless! I did not personally feel unsafe, walking in the lot at night, but understand why a lone female traveler might. The street lights are kind of dim, and I'd be willing to pay more for this parking lot to install better lighting. read more

Pros: location couldnt really get any better. 5 min walk to the front of the airport. Pricing is pretty rock bottom as well. Cons: DO NOT park on the railroad track side of the parking lot.....I repeat DO NOT. If the lot gets full everyone must back up alllllll the way back to the entrance/exit (the same thing in this instance). Its like backing a car up through a Michael's craft store with crap hanging all into the aisles, and no room to walk. I was an unfortunate soul who parked on the railroad side of the lot, and thus, got the benefit of dealing with a hit and run. Some white truck backed into my car (from the looks of my f*cked front right fender and bumper).....generating $1360 worth of damage and no car for 3 days! NICE! When I called to ask about cameras in the lot, and if any attendant saw/heard the person smash into my car like Nic Cage in Gone in Sixty Seconds or Danica Patrick as a teenager learning how to race, the employee would not even let me look at the camera footage to catch the person who hit my car. WHY DO YOU HAVE CAMERAS THEN??? Needless to say ownership has cameras, and does not let paying customers look at the footage to catch a criminal....reassuring. Let's not help the people that PAY to keep your lot in business... amazing. Not saying don't park here.....but BEWARE AND MAKE SURE you dont park on the railroad side, and get ready for mental roller coaster ride of a phone call, and no empathy/desire to help the customer if you dial that number!! I used to take Uber/Lyft to the airport unti I found this parking lot. The rates are great and the staff is always super nice. I've never had an issue in the 5-10 times I've parked here in the last few years. They also take credit cards now which is super helpful! read more

My wife found Southwest Parking before I did any Yelping about it, but we were busy before our short trip up north and needed a place to park our car while away. After I dropped off my car and was walking to the terminal to meet up with my wife and kids, I yelped Southwest and wondered if I had made a huge mistake based on the multiple reviews I read that warned me to stay away. Oh well. Too late now! Unlike many, I had no problems when I arrived to the lot. I showed my reservation and coupon I had printed out and neatly clipped and the attendant was helpful and told me to park in any available parking spot. I did, then walked back to the booth to pay and he told me that I pay upon return. Okay. No problems there. I returned late at night several days later and trying to get out of my spot was a bit tricky. This lot is located between Empire blvd and the train tracks so there isn't a ton of space. It's a very long and narrow lot so they have one row of diagonal parking, and then one row of parallel parking behind. I was in one of the diagonal spaces and there was someone parallel parked behind me, so trying to back out was pretty tricky as I drive a Honda Pilot. On top of that, the lane to drive is only one way and the parking lot dead ends, so I couldn't drive down and out, I had to drive in reverse to the front of the lot. That wasn't a ton of fun. Regardless, my car was intact with no damage (or no homeless people living in it like the one reviewer had!) I paid the amount based on my coupon with no hassle from the attendant and proceeded to pick up my wife and kids from the terminal and head home. Hopefully my experience is more the norm. My God, what a lifesaver I have found you Southwest Parking. Best rates in the general vicinity, easy parking and close to the airport. Yes, you have to walk to the terminal you lazy slob; it's only 300 yards away and across the street (7 minute walk). Not hard. Friendly workers, have never had a problem with my car being broken in or vandalized (knock on wood). Just booked my weekend trip to vegas...6.00/day + a 3.00 service fee...not too shabby. Considering Airport Marriott charges 10.00/day and you have to take their shuttle, which comes by once every 15-20 mins (I hate waiting). Also, VSP charges 11.00/day for their outside parking. Looks like Southwest has them both beat. The only downside for those who have never been here is the entrance literally creeps up on you. So at night drive a wee bit slower and try not to miss the entrance. Easy to find on GPS. Definitely recommend this place to anyone flying out of Burbank. Okay so I used them and it was fine. Upon arriving I showed the guy in the hut my paperwork. He said I would have to leave the keys and to back it up. No not as in dancing but in parking my vehicle between parked cars on. the aisle. All spaces were full I assume. He asked when I would be returning and then I parked my car on the aisle and gave him my car key. Airport doors are a good 5-7 minute walk. You can actually walk to the end of the lot towards the metrolink station and there is a opening there instead of walking on the street with a small sidewalk. Once I returned I arrived a bit sweaty from a non stop walk from tarmac to there parking hut. I saw a Asian women doing paperwork and I would say her small child watching TV. There was a man not too happy outside that gave me a look as he has had enough of this... Don't really know what he was up to but seemed he was filling out a claim maybe. Once I paid the lady $6, she gave me my key back and told me my car was in space 110. The hut is at space 1. So I walk. And walk a bit more. Stopped and looked back. I could see the hut, a good 100 yards from where I stood. Walked a few feet more and then I saw my car. Checked a few things before driving off,read on here some were taken by busy hands when leaving your keys. As I drove down the aisle I figured I walked at least 3 blocks. Would I park here again maybe. Its okay to walk but if you don't want to walk 5-7 mins and then walk back 5-7 mins when you return then use economy lot c at the airport. What you can walk to this lot you might have to wait for the shuttle at their lots. If you have a lot of luggage and you are by yourself I wouldn't recommend this place. Unless you have someone you can drop off at the airport and one of you can leave the car and walk back.
