Not only have I saved HUNDREDS of dollars in this short time by going to them, but I have also had excellent care and service. This clinic is not money hungry and does not seem to overbook. There is never a line or a wait. It is a bit out of the way for me, 30 minutes, but completely worth it. If it was an hour away, I would probably still go. We have used the boarding services at Western Prairie about 8-10 times this year. We travel quite a…read morebit on the weekends to OKC, WINSTAR Casino in Thackerville and Dallas and the staff treats our Benny so well that it just makes sense to leave him in their living care. They know and greet him by name and he is always ecstatic upon his return. Benny has also had the vet services a few times and gets his medications for flea and heart work here so this clinic takes care of us without fail. When Benny had a food allergy and broke out in hives he went through his medicated body spray quickly and we didn't have to make another vet appt. to get a refill. There's been times when they have performed mini vet checkups while he's there for boarding and/grooming and the rate is very low. Overall it's just so convenient. Western Prairie has very caring staff and I am happy to use them for all our pet needs.

Be unprofessional when dealing with clients. even if they ask questions then this is the place.. the staff is fine. It's the vet himself. I question how he's even still a licensed vet. The level of unprofessionalism that I have experienced here more than one time. I just didn't make record of it before. he's always been kind of snarky.. I don't need someone talking to me in a condescending tone and inflection like they're my dad. My dog was in the was in his care for chronic kidney failure. the staff told me he wasn't eating. I said oh should I be concerned? They mentioned it to him. He pulled me in a room. I've told you this before. I'm not gonna tell you again. like that's completely ridiculous. You should be a level of professionalism to be a veterinarian or any doctor. customer service and professionalism are part of the job..I withdrew my dog and took him somewhere else. I don't need people talking to me like that cause they're sure not doing it for free. On the fence if I'm gonna report this to the governing body, The Oklahoma Board Veterinary Medical Examiners. The state licensing board deals with things with that deal with unprofessional conduct. Like talking to people like in an unprofessional way.
