I have been a road warrior for 35 years and have traveled most places in the world multiple times,…read moreincluding living internationally. I had a 35 minute discussion with Kim, who has worked as a travel agent at Cosmos for at least seven years but has been in the business for over 30 years. She definitely gets travel. Given the situation with the Wuhan virus (COVID-19 - let's be real). I was very well prepared for my discussion with Kim about their readiness for a mid-August tour of Norway. Cosmos said it was available and they were good to go. I was assured Cosmos had valid contracts with all the hotels, restaurants, buses, tour leaders, Government approval, etc, etc. I was very satisfied with the depth of her answers and we put the deposit down that day (4 people, 2 families), which was in June 2021. And shortly after we put the deposit, the trip was completely sold out. Weeks later we received very non-specific, form letter from some senior executive at Cosmos saying what everyone says: this is canceled or cannot happen due to Covid (Wuhan). We fully understand that things happen and times are difficult, but Cosmos was NOT forthcoming, nor did they really give an accurate reason for what happened to this entire tour group. I emailed Kim (Cosmos sales agent) and I called Kim four times. There were no return emails or no return calls. It's as if they disappeared off the map. What I did expect from the largest tour provider in the world is common good business practices: I expected them to help me find another tour, they wouldn't even return an email or call. They blew me off as if it meant nothing. This is highly inappropriate and unprofessional . I don't think Cosmos wants to be known as a used car salesman type organization, but that's exactly the experience they gave the four of us. There is nothing that can explain away while why emails and calls were not returned. The truth is, the government of Norway allocating a specific number of people That could be admitted into the country, by tour provider, buy business type, by industry, etc. etc. Cosmos had not done their due diligence to properly allocate the number of people per tour. And I'm not sure if they had all of the other resources contracted and allocated that are required for I tour. But there is nothing that excuses absolute and complete non-responsiveness to customers

I booked a trip with my friends to Washington D.C. and several other cities. I paid it off, packed…read moremy bags and was ready to go. Three weeks before the trip I received an email from Cosmos Travel regarding Covid19 vaccination requirement. I did not read the fine print when I booked my trip, unfortunately. But they were good to remind me after the fact. I am not vaccinated. So immediately I called to cancel my trip the Travel agent, and was told I was on my own and to file a Claim. But my reason for cancelling did not meet any of the 12 reasons they honor. I was honest about the fact that I did not want to put anyone at risk, since it was a group tour. American Airlines did not have any restriction so I felt good about that. I submitted the claim for a refund and was denied. Therefore; lost half of the cost of the trip. My best advice for anyone who doesn't travel much, like myself, please read through the fine print and ask questions. I have learned a very expensive lesson. Ironically, my friends who still went on the three week trip, were never asked for verification of vaccination by ANYONE!

I brought my whole family and it was enjoyable for all ages from 12 to 77- There is a bit of walking and standing but some chances to sit down. Totally more interesting than walking around the area without information. The fun part (all of it is fun) was going inside Union Station and hearing the history that has been glossed over by historians trying to attract visitors to Denver. As the tour progresses, it gets better and better. By the time we exited Union Station, it was dark and the area was lit up with people enjoying the beautiful evening- you see pedicabs and bicycles, lit buildings and a fountain with lights in addition to the story weaver guide. This is the authentic tour to take.
