We went on the Rocky Mountain National Park trip yesterday. It was awesome. Our tour guide Alex was great! He was friendly, shared a lot of information and gave us a wonderful experience...it was a "bluebird day" Thank you!

PRO TIP: try avoiding the most back row if you have long legs or any stress with mobility. Because once you sit there, the seat is assigned and you will have to deal with being cramped in a tighter space. And you basically are always the last one to get off. This was one of the biggest cons. Moving on, the tour itself was great. We stopped by a cafe on the way to and back, for food and bathroom breaks, and pretty soon, the van took us to the Rocky Mountain with beautiful views and even saw many wildlife - the big horn sheep, elk, deer (i think), and, not to forget, smaller animals like birds, mouse, and chipmunks, but no moose spotted. Nonetheless, the breathtaking view of the Rockies is certainly worth the journey. The guide was very knowledgeable about trees and shared many stories about the places and tips for visiting Denver in general! She also took us to a few Native American owed stores that featured indigenous art that were very cool to see. One thing to note is that I think the Colorado Sightseer, the tour company, had listed at least two slightly different itineraries, and I might have been sent to the one I did not pick. I noticed because I intentionally picked the tour with visits to two visitor centers, vs the one I went on only took us to Beaver Meadows. Not a big deal bc I did get still get my stamp, and the tour used most of the day's time efficiently by visiting many attractions. But this might be something you want to make sure if the stops matter a lot to you. Nonetheless, with a group tour, it is understandable and expected for the itinerary to potentially change. For instance, the day I went, the tour guide actually too us to visit places in different order to avoid crowds. Another thing to really appreciate is that the tour provided some snacks, extra gloves/beanies, which were really a lifesaver in the cold mountains. I know I was not fully prepared for it and so glad I could borrower some!

I brought my whole family and it was enjoyable for all ages from 12 to 77- There is a bit of walking and standing but some chances to sit down. Totally more interesting than walking around the area without information. The fun part (all of it is fun) was going inside Union Station and hearing the history that has been glossed over by historians trying to attract visitors to Denver. As the tour progresses, it gets better and better. By the time we exited Union Station, it was dark and the area was lit up with people enjoying the beautiful evening- you see pedicabs and bicycles, lit buildings and a fountain with lights in addition to the story weaver guide. This is the authentic tour to take.

I was disappointed that the gift shop didn't carry 3XL shirts or sweatshirts. Large women and men love souvenirs too, and we're happy to spend money when the options fit! The food was just okay. I ordered the beef nachos -- the portion was huge and definitely shareable -- but they lacked flavor, and I only ate a few bites. Steve said his burger was fine but nothing to write home about. The highlight of our trip was the open‑air car, made even better by our host, Brett. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the canyon, pointed out landmarks, helped us spot bighorn sheep and deer, and took photos for anyone who asked -- always making sure the background was perfect. Thanks to him, we have beautiful memories captured from our ride. Be sure to tip Brett -- he absolutely deserves it!

It was the perfect way to celebrate spooky season because of the following reasons: ++ After seeing the hype on Facebook, my parents purchased the tickets via their website for a mere $15/person! Once we provided our online receipt, we were given paper tickets with various coupons for discounts at local downtown spots to enjoy after our tour! Good up to a month after too! ++ Staff was beyond friendly and 100% in character! Each host was dressed in historic wear, and guided us to various spots within the town that boasted a scary story. At each stop, another staff member was dressed in notable clothing, provided us the background on the specific building/infamous person who was murdered/ect..! Everyone did a great job in creating the best type of spooky environment while properly social distancing/wearing masks. ++ What a great and fun way to explore downtown Littleton! Having frequented the area a lot, I had yet to experience this type of tour, which was totally fun and a great way to kick off the holiday weekend! We stopped at about 6 different places, of which had a story. It was a totally unique way to hear about local history! ++ At just over an hour, the tour itself was the perfect amount of time, which allowed for drinks and dinner afterwards! I can't wait to go next year!
