This is an awesome tour. The guide is totally awesome and I could tell he was very knowledgeable. Even skeptical believers in ghosts will enjoy the history of Denver and the compelling storytelling by the guide as a narrator. I brought my whole family and it was enjoyable for all ages from 12 to 77- There is a bit of walking and standing but some chances to sit down. Totally more interesting than walking around the area without information. The fun part (all of it is fun) was going inside Union Station and hearing the history that has been glossed over by historians trying to attract visitors to Denver. As the tour progresses, it gets better and better. By the time we exited Union Station, it was dark and the area was lit up with people enjoying the beautiful evening- you see pedicabs and bicycles, lit buildings and a fountain with lights in addition to the story weaver guide. I cannot recommend this tour enough! I go on a ghost tour in every city I visit and this tour was one of the best. The tour started at Union Station and into the tunnels under Union Station. We also went to some behind the scenes spots. I learned a phenomenal amount of Denver history on this tour and it was fun! Brook, the tour guide was absolutely phenomenal. He checked in on my group a few times to make sure we were ok. He knew his facts and told the history in such an interesting and engaging way. The ladies that were leading the tour were friendly friendly and answered all the questions we had. We went to union station and the underground of it. A street in the milk market, tattered cover book store, and the Oxford hotel. We kind of just walked around while they told us some history. I thought it was going to be a little better. The website said things about Molly brown house. We had to do a separate tour of that on our own. Learning some of the history about Denver was cool. But it was more of a history lesson. read more

This was one of my favorite ghost tours EVER!! Brooke was so knowledgeable, entertaining, and his stories were captivating. He unearthed an entire side of Denver I never knew existed!! Interesting, fun, and creepy in the best way. We booked a private tour with a small group of friends. The guide accommodated our schedule and told us stories while we waited for our latecomers. Though I grew up in Denver, I had no idea of much of the rich and colorful history dwelling in the downtown area. It was certainly not always the spiffed up and glamorous locale that it is now. Great way to spend a night in Denver! With all of the history behind this city, I'm not surprised there is a dark past. Brook was an amazing guide. Very knowledgeable of the city and it's history. He was upfront with us and said it would be very unlikely for us to see a ghost, but many would at least have some sort of feeling or encounter. Aside from his knowledge, he was genuinely a nice guy. What impressed me most about him was his customer service skills...it was going to be very cold that night (low teens to single digits). We received a call from him earlier in the day informing us to dress warm and if we wanted to cancel for a full refund he would provide that! Love the gesture and option, but I will politely say "Hell No! Let's go ghost hunting!" This was in no way a cheesy tourist trap. In fact there were more people from Denver than other areas on the tour. Brook had behind the scenes access to some interesting places with interesting history. While I did not have a connection or experience with the paranormal on the tour, I do feel that I did get a great lesson in Denver history that we would not have ordinarily received. Reasonably priced fun way to spend an evening in Denver. A must do tour while visiting. read more

My experience with tour was great. I'm from LA so I and my bro wanted to do something that we never did before. We found this tour and liked the reviews. Our tour guide was Dean and he was very knowledgeable and made our tour exciting. Of course we got to Our first stop we experienced thunder and lighting started which to me was an extra plus. Mother Nature wanted us to experience Denver in a whole other light. The whole tour last 2 hours and was not bad for walking. When I go back I will do the experience again. I have been on other ghost tours in other cities but this guy is the BEST! His name is Blake (I hope I remembered that correctly), well he owns the company and he is the only one who does the tours. He is a great speaker and has invited done his research. Make sure to make your reservations early because he does not do big groups - this way you hear everything he says and you can ask questions. He even brings an iPad with photos to back up what he speaks about. I highly recommend this tour even if you are a skeptic - it's a great time and the tour guy is genuinely a nice person. read more

I was born and raised here and yet all of the history of the walk was things I never new about Denver. We even got to have some experience with the paranormal. We learned some really interesting things about Denver. I had no idea it sat in top of a bunch of tunnels. Denver has such a rich history and our tour guide was full of interesting facts. I have nothing but great things to say about this tour. We booked a private tour for a bachelorette party in from Texas, and not only were they great about refunding us for a few people who dropped out of the tour, but Brook was very patient when we had a few ladies late to the start of the tour. Brook is a great guide! Not only is he super knowledgeable and likable, but his delivery is fantastic. A few of the girls commented that they felt like they were watching something from tv. I really enjoyed getting to learn a few things about Denver and to see Brook interact with the locals on the tour. He's definitely connected in with everyone. If you're wanting a more rowdy, pub crawl type tour, this is probably not the one for you. I think a couple in our group were wanting something more raucous, so it wasn't for them. I wasn't sure I was going to make it in town in time a few Saturday's ago, but I'm so glad I did. I highly recommend this ghost tour. I've been to several ghost tours around the country (Chicago, Portland, Oakland just to name a few) and this was by far the best one. What made it exciting was our tour guide named Brook. He did a great job of engaging the audience with his enthusiastic personality. He eloquently explained the history of each haunted location and backed up each story with evidence. It was obvious that Brook has a passion for this tour. This tour differs from the other ghost tour that I've been to in Denver. Instead of being focused on bar hopping and drinking, this tour was more centered on educating you the history and stories of each site. The stories were freaky good as there were a few people during the tour that waited outside after Brook warned us about how haunted the location was. This haunted tour is as real as you can get. This was one of the most fun things I have ever done in Denver, and I'm from here! This guy really knows his history and his tour is top notch. I definitely got chills a few times! So much fun, I highly recommend! I took my daughter for her birthday and she said it was the best present ever. I cannot wait to go do it again with my husband! 2 quick notes, 1) as it is October I made sure I was dressed warm...but with all the walking you do you really dont get cold at all and you are indoors most of the time...I ended up carrying my coat the whole time.
