Just when you think that they have perfected everything, the team at SOYA throw a curveball and surprise you with something new! I have tried every single drink on their menu and I can say with great confidence that they put their heart and soul into every recipe. They have recently added a delicious dessert- panna cotta. Linh has been working tirelessly to perfect them and let me tell you, not only are these delicious, they are BEAUTIFUL! My family and I have been patrons since they opened. I've always appreciated the level of cleanliness, the open concept, comfortable seating and upbeat music at a comfortable setting. You can hang out and enjoy your refreshments and yummy food, if you so choose. The menu caters to everyone's palate and each drink customizable which is great because I typically enjoy my drinks a little less sweet. This place is a gem on the road from LA up to the Bay Area. We got the egg coffee, golden island (mango/coconut) and both flavors of banh mi. Everything was delicious and I was impressed. The place is no frills which to me is a huge plus because even though it's a clean stylish looking place, there's no fighting a crowd to have a seat as you wait. Highly recommend to order from the pad on the left wall as there are photos of the drinks next to all of their descriptions. A great boba shop find in the middle of Los Banos off of the highway. We were on a long drive back from So Cal to Nor Cal and wanted to stop for a caffeine kick/refreshing sweet treat. Soya Lounge is located in the middle of a strip plaza and the air conditioned lounge welcomes you in from the outside heat. They have a ton of different specialty drink options to choose from - I decided to get their strawberry matcha with a customized sweetness level and a couple of their waffles for my kids - the plain and strawberry flavors. The staff member was very patient with us as it took us a few minutes to decide what we wanted. Once our orders were in, she gave us a pager that would buzz once our order was ready. I enjoyed my drink while waiting for the food to be made and it was milky, sweet, and delicious and gave me the caffeine boost I needed to finish the rest of our drive. The boba pearls were warm, sweet and very soft and tasted very freshly made. The waffles came out piping hot and were dense and chewy - my kids devoured these. The strawberry flavor was very subtle and not overly sweet, which was great. read more

Located in the same plaza as the 99 Cent store, Soya Tea Lounge serves a long list of tea drinks plus one or two snack choices. Inside is dark like a night club, but is quickly lit up with a projector spewing dancing lights against the wall. Now it's a rave! I have been here twice and have thoroughly enjoyed both experiences so far. I have tried: - Luv U Berry Much - a strawberry smoothie blended with frozen yogurt/Yakult? Very refreshing - U Be Mine - an ube milk tea. Not my favorite, but still tasty. - Slush of Sunshine - a mango smoothie with mango chunks. Super yummy and just as refreshing as the strawberry one! - Pithaya Pop - dragon fruit soda with different flavored popping bobas (blueberry, strawberry, guava, sour lemon, dragon fruit). This was an interesting one and definitely for the kiddos who love popping boba! Again not my favorite, but was thirst-quenching for that sunny day. My first visit here was great! I came with my cousin who lives in town and she'd been here a bunch of times. I don't remember what she ordered but it was something with strawberries I think cheesecake? The service was great I had a lot of questions especially since it was my first time here and the cashier was great at answering all my questions. Even told me if I didn't like it to let them know. I wanna say I ended up ordering a matcha drink and I enjoyed it. We sat at the bar against the wall and overall it gave nightclub atmosphere which I like since I am in my 20s. We sat and chatted for about an hour until our drinks were finished. A couple other family's came in and sat as well enjoying their drinks. Never felt rushed or had a time limit to the lounge. I've been once and I haven't gone again since I'm an out of towner but I'd definitely bring my 7 year old for the fun drinks. read more

The boba drink tasted good, like your typical powder based drinks , definitely weren't using fresh fruits (as toro is white not purple) we had a Taro smoothie along with a Mango smoothie, we added boba toppings for both. For me this shop offer far waaaaaaayyyyy to good to be compared off I was even shocked its only 1 location. The mixture of their milk is classy and has a huge different among other milk teas, the green tea I would say is high class grade too how did I know? Because I have owned 1 business before when I was young. While I was drinking the signature it was thrilling and surprising what's on it, cracking chocolate and floating cheese balls and some long jellies really good. Heard about a new hot spot milk tea place in town, decided to give it a try. And omg...finally a good real milk tea place we have in town (not no quickly...that's not real milktea). Inside the milk tea place, very clean, beautiful set up. A place to lounge, study and just good Ole hang out. Nice appearance. The lady who helped us was also very nice and helpful. Drinks ordered: foxy brown- consists of oolong milk tea with brown sugar, coffee jelly and cheese foam. I'm a big fan of oolong tea, the taste of brown sugar was perfect. I would say the drink is sweet but if u like sweet then that's def a good thing. PMS drink- consists of organic jasmine green tea with tropical fruit pieces, strawberry and peach slides which tasted very refreshing especially good for the summer drink.
