My friend and I went to try this place on a Saturday at lunch. Samara was our waitress and she great. She was friendly, attentive, and took great care of us. She got our drinks right away and brought the table these little fried wonton strips (I think) and this really yummy dipping sauce. I got the cheeseburger egg roll and the bento box. My friend ordered the Korean wings and the pineapple rice bowl. Everything came out fast and the food was fantastic. We were just so impressed by everything. The decor is nice inside and the whole experience was great. We will be back!

Love this place. Good sushi and good cocktails, about all you need in life. Pretty much my go to sushi place in Statesboro. Their teriyaki chicken and brown rice is really good as well. The atmosphere is fun and lively, while still being comfortable. From what I can tell, it's usually very clean as well. Overall, a pretty great restaurant in Statesboro. If you want good sushi, go here, you will not be disappointed.

Service was pleasant. Food was your typical brunch menu within an Asian cuisine setting. The drink specials were decent. I would probably come back just to try their adult Capri sun's.

Wonderful bowls of Miso soup, followed by excellent Tuna poke bowl by Adam and next the delicious sushi pizza! Then for dessert an over the top tempura cheesecake to finish things up! Wow folks! This was a wonderful meal with the family at a great new place in Statesboro. Thank you Adam for preparing amazing food and Rachel for taking care of us like family. This was our third visit to Soyumi and each visit is better than the last! The Tuna Poke was new, delicious and a fresh and flavorful treat. I guarantee you will not find the Poke anywhere else as of now and even if you eventually do, Adam will be ready to present his Tuna Poke bowl to amaze you!

It's an old bank and the bank vault, safe deposit boxes being part of the decor. Apps ordered and delivered quickly, same with the main course. Food was very good, service was excellent. Really no issue. If I had to find something wrong. The delicious shrimp and crab raviolis were actually dumplings? Rare that something that minor is my biggest issue. We'll be back.

So, I would just like to say first that I am not at all trying to be mean. But, I am leaving this…read morereview because I think it's important for the public to know so they can open their eyes to the truth around them. Also, I went to culinary school when I was younger at The French Culinary Institute in San Jose, CA. And have worked as a prep cook, line cook, sous chef, head chef, private chef, catering chef, and also have worked as a server in the front of house for a lot of my life, too. Not saying I know everything, cuz I have much more to learn. Just saying I'm reliable......unlike too many others here that are not, but should be! Anyway... Came here for dinner. On their menu was "lobster & shrimp RAVILOI." - the "ravioli" were literally the Flock to the Woks left over shrimp dumplings. And the "sauce" on the "raviloi" was the left over base soup from the vaults lemoncoconut soup. Drinks were fine. (This was also a few months ago, I just haven't had much free time to write this til now). So, I forget what else we ordered, clearly cuz it was forgettable, underwhelming, & disappointing. I will never forget that Ravioli dish because it has kept me from this restaurant since. I've seen many restaurants Owners depart completely away from their restaurants after they grow lucrative & efficient enough to operate without their presence. But, every single time they do that, SOOOO MANY THINGS fall under the same satisfactory umbrella/standards as they once did. How can the person who owns almost everyyyy single restaurant in Savannah be truly present at any of them? And having so many at once I'm sure you would see lots of food waste and try to prevent that to save dimes & pennies, thinking the reg tourist or human won't notice....but, we do. It's honestly gross to me. On the west coast cooking is so competitive. Younger generations are literally out there traveling & battling to be the best. And we all hear how wonderful Savannah's food Scene is, like to the point you'd want to travel here just for the food. But I can NOT tell you how truly disappointing this city's food scene is. Aside from a few really good restaurants-(Common Thread for most consistent & overall best ever & The Grey for their kitchen and cooks)- in my eyes, most everything else is tourist food and not truly cared about. Sorry Savannah but I'm only saying this because I know there could be wayyy more effort put into your every day work. And if you're going to go out and buy all of the property and own almost ever other restaurant here-wouldn't you want it to actually be GOOD for each customer instead of just GOOD for the marketing photos?

Hi Everyone, Maybe,…read morelike me you missed it, but Kyra Restaurant Seafood and Grill in the Riverwalk Shopping Center in Ridgeland, SC off RT 170 (but it looks like Okatie to me, lol) is here, and it offering good fare. FYI: Kyra or Kayra, and Kaira is named for the God who planted the tree of life Ulukayin, in Turkic Mythology, or a new born's name. Their Specials listed on a black board as you enter their restaurant are only offered from 4:00 to 5:30 PM as when we inquired about them at 6:30 PM they were not. The owner is Turkish, hence the name I am guessing, and he likes him some Hungarian peppers as they featured on multiple dishes like their Mediterranean Seafood Grouper which has a savory but not hot, but was instead, spicy with a delectable flavor which my ravishing dinner companion let me try. However, I was only offered and ate a very little piece, which was a fantastic flavorful taste experience. I guess, even with our fifty year history together and almost all of it married, I guess, I just don't rate, as she ate, her entire plate, which she really enjoyed. You know how it is when you ordered their good, but less tasty entree, and you're offered a taste of one of their taste tintilating hits, and then your hoping she's not that hungry, right? Oh, I know, not you! Lol We started with their scallops and pasta appetiser which was good but only had two scallops on it with a small amount of pasta which in our opinion, was perfectly executed, but taste wise, was nothing special. Our friends who accompanied us had fried calamari as their appetiser, and upon our return, I will order this as an appetizer as it was perfectly cooked and their marina with was a very tasty match. And yet again, I was only offered a small piece, dagnabit. I took the road less traveled for me and tried their Shrimp and clams spaghetti which was well prepared with shrimp and clams being again, perfectly cooked, but this entrees' taste was surprisingly, just Ok. My portion was on smaller plate than most dinning establishments in our area, so this dish in particular, would not draw me back to Kyra on its own merits. We finished with their Ricotta Cheese Cake which was one of the best deserts I have ever eaten anywhere, and one we highly recommend because it is neither commonly available in our area but is so...so...velvety delicious! Our Server was outstanding, knowledgeable on all their offerings, while smiling with a great personable style. They take a team approach to their service here, employing different team members to serve your orders hot, which I really felt was very efficient and more old world in the best way, reminding me of some of the stellar restaurants we have frequented in different cities like Hartford, Connecticut's North End, Baltimore's Italian section, or St. Louis's "The Hill" with their toasted lobster ravioli, and in which, this style of service was perfected, which we all enjoyed very much. In our over twenty year past, here in our beloved Low Country, we have visited this restaurant building under its different iterations for breakfast, and lunch. So it was a great feeling to rediscover this nicely renovated pleasant ambiance in this building now known as Kyra, as we always enjoy a new to us, restaurant whose fare we are trying for the first time. We feel Kyra Restaurant Seafood and Grill is worth your investing your time, and money to dine and discover good food, great service, and which dish you feel is your personal "Hey, this tastes great, plate". Why? Because we feel, you will be so glad, you did. Enjoy!
