When I tried to call it was said "a supervisor removed you and they are not here right now" So if you you disagree with their practices and challenge the items that never took place, you are ghosted. You might ask.... was I rude? No, we never even had a conversation over the phone. Did you do something to them? Yes I challenged charges for items that never took place in the appointment. I never even received a Dr's report from that appointment. I'm guessing because the Dr didn't want to put in writing what never took place. Do yourself a favor and avoid this scam of a place at all costs!

My PC goes over everything and makes sure you're well taken care of. They even give you a summary of your visit with all tests results, vitals and everything that was discussed with your PC. They provide free transportation to and from the office if you have no way of getting there or don't feel like driving. They always make a follow up call to see how you're doing after your visit. They also have a 24/7 hotline if you need a Dr after hours or have questions. I've never been treated so well at a Dr office in my entire life. I would recommend OSH over Desert Ridge any day of the week.

I can say that with confidence because he's able to put together seemingly disparate pieces of information and ask questions that other doctors would never consider. He's not necessarily going to be able to come up with an answer fast, but he's not going to give up and will also help you figure out new questions to ask yourself about your health. Dr. Glick is a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO), certified in Functional Medicine that has a membership only practice. Here's what that means: Osteopathic doctors practice all areas of medicine but have special training in your body's musculoskeletal system. DO's focus on prevention and keep more up to date on advances in medical technology. Functional Medicine focuses on adding what the body is missing or lacking (nutrients, vitamins, hormones etc.) and removing what the body doesn't need via detoxification. In a way, it's another level of commitment to looking at the complexity of an individual and their health. Lastly, a Member's Only practice is where you pay to be a part of a practice up front or on a monthly basis. You might not be used to that idea, but first and foremost, Dr. Glick is committing to you as a patient. Secondly, you're not going to get a protocol with suggestions based on "what insurance will pay for." You're going to get a legitimate treatment plan that actually has a good chance of working. His office will bill insurance, but a lot of doctors will never tell you what the best plan of action is, they'll only offer what insurance will pay for, which is almost never the best first choice treatment. Whenever you're dealing with an illness that's a diagnosis of exclusion, you're going to need some patience. That's the only reason I've mentioned that getting well may take some time. Dr. Glick will spend enough time with you so that he really knows who you are, not just knows a few random facts about your life. Because he understands how you look at your life and how you think, he makes recommendations in a way that will make sense and be relevant to you. Reading through other reviews, I will also state that it is hard to get prescriptions sent in correctly. Cathy was very hard to work with even after multiple calls to her. I also had billing issues because whomever is doing the coding obviously doesn't know how to do their job. My annual physical this year was coded as a high regular visit. As cumbersome as it will be, I am finding a new PCP that actually has a physician at their practice that offers patient-centered care

Calling to refill the prescription used to be a same day affair, instead now they delay and I'm lucky if I can even get them on the phone when I call. Unfortunately with medication shortages, their slow speed at faxing/electronic prescriptions has yielded delays in me getting my medications. It means I have to call back repeatedly and hope that they have some urgency. Since they were acquired by a different practice, their care quality has gone down significantly. Given the longevity of being there, I'm giving them another chance, but if not I'll have to find somewhere new.

I checked in with staff and waited for the phlebotomist to call my name. It was only a few minute wait. I made sure I drank lots of water before the procedure. Staff poked me in a spot on my arm that had never been poked before that I can remember. Nothing was happening. She decided to release that needle and try another one. She decided to try one of the main veins in the crook of my arm. She hit the right spot this time I was done in a minute. I looked at my arm later. No bruises, which is great.
