Been going here since 2009. Probably the cleanest nail salon I've ever been to because they wipe down EVERYTHING throughout the day and completely again at the end of the day. Service is efficient yet quality. Other reviewers mentioned nails chipping after a few days but my manicure lasts a week because they add "quick dry DROPS" at the end of my manicures after top coat. Not the quick dry polish but the drops. I dunno the name or what the drops are but it seals the polish in and hardens it. I was still going here when I lived in NJ and I go every week. read more

I don't often get mani-pedis because manicures don't often last as much as I want them to and pedicures are something I keep as a 'once a season' thing. Last week I decided to splurge. the abundance of places in park slope and the area in general made it hard to pick one out but afer reading some reviews I decided to try Spa Boutique Nails out. They were great- I missed their mon-wednesday mani-pedi $22 special but without the special it was $28, so not that much more! they have great colors to choose from and they were super quick and attentive. My pedicure is still untouched whereas my mani is now gone. For the price and the niceness/cleanliness of the locale it was totally worth it! read more

I came in for the $21.99 mani/pedi (turns out to be $23). It's your typical Asian run of the mill nail salon. The manicurists are friendly and greet you when you come in. I was attended to immediately, but had to take a couple minutes to pick out colors. The same lady did the mani and pedi. The pedicure was average; she barely scrubbed my feet. It wasn't bad, I just thought she would've spent more time on them... The manicure was fine. She was very precise and even put on a 3rd coat. I would definitely go back for the special or a manicure, but may check out a different place for a pedicure. read more

I went here before leaving for my Mexican resort vacation. All I wanted was to use gel on 8 toe and finger Nails and a great sparkle nail Polish on the other 2. I told the woman this and she just looked down and started talking in a language I couldn't understand for the next 20 minutes while working on my pedicure. Before started my nails I wanted to pay so I wouldn't have to dig in my wallet and she charged me $50... $50 for 16 Nails!? A little high but I was already half way in so what could I do. Once she started to do my fingers she said she only charged me for doing 2 finger Nails with gel. So for 10 total Nails with gel it was $50. After doing my nails, without asking, she got up and started to give me a back and shoulder rub. I assume this is part of the service, but I was already so frustrated with this woman there was no way I was going to relax....and most importantly 1 day into my trip, my nail Polish chipped and I had to redo them. Needless to say, I will be either doing my own Nails or finding somewhere else to take my business. read more

Surprised by all the 5 star reviews, because this was one of the worse nail salon experiences I've had. Most staff at salons are very friendly and care about the quality of your manicure/pedicure. Did not experience that here. They don't use a base coat, and my pedicure has already chipped, two days later. Disappointing! read more

Finally found the perfect pedicure! Go here and request Kana. She is amazing and gave me the best pedicure I've ever had. She was so attentive to detail, knowledgeable, and gave the most incredible massage. My pedicure lasted an hour and was so great. Only $20 too. I happened to be in the area so I stopped in. It was cheap and I didn't have to wait long. I hate when I go to a nail salon and they tell me there's no wait and then I'm there for 45 min. Plus they gave excellent massages after the mani and during the pedi! read more

Have been coming to this salon for a year and a half now and pretty satisfied with their service. They are great for mani and pedi but not for waxing. On more than one occasion I was left with bruises on my lids after eyebrow wax and that was after I asked her to please be careful when plucking! I actually had to use concealer for a week to cover up the bruise. Will continue to use them for nails but definitely not for eyebrow wax. read more

Spa Boutique is the bee's knees. Not only do all the techs I've experienced to an extremely thorough job, but the place is incredibly clean and lacking the suffocating acetone scent of not-as-good mani joints. I agree that the foot/leg massages are lacking, but the place makes up in that you never feel like the employees are insulting you when they talk to each other, which is an obnoxious problem I frequently experience at other places, including the more expensive Dashing Diva. This is my go-to salon. Always do an amazing job for the price you pay. My manicures last at least 4 days without chipping. Great massages with the pedicures and while your nails dry (awesome bonus!). I just wish they were a bit friendlier. Otherwise, they're fab! read more

The staff at Spa Boutique is the most accommodating and consistent staff I have ever encountered at a nail salon. Everyone pays attention to detail when giving manicures and and pedicures, does a good job and always gives a nice shoulder rub (1-2 minute) at the end of your appointment (even if it is crowded, which it can sometimes be). It's nice too that there are several employees working at Spa Boutique but everyone gives you the same professional treatment. The salon is also very clean and has TVs for you to watch while getting a mani and/or pedi. Also, they close late and are open on Sundays, which is always a plus for me since I work 50 hours a week! read more

I came here for a much needed manicure to get my overly long and uneven nails reshaped and cleaned up. My manicurist (forgot her name) did an excellent job cutting my cuticles and reshaping them into a square shape. After two coats of Essie's "topless and barefoot" polish my nails were beautiful. She finished them off with a long lasting top coat for which she asked for an extra dollar, which seemed rather silly. Total cost of the manicure (without tip) with a short little upper body massage while my nails were drying under the heat lamps was $10.50. Extremely reasonable if you ask me. read more

It is a very basic place, but very good. I got a basic pedicure, it was $19 I think. The lady that worked on my nails was really good at her job, she did everything quickly and perfectly. She gave a me a really intense and pretty painful shoulder massage while my nails were drying, but it did make me feel relaxed after. Everyone is nice, place is clean. The other customers there were happy too, a lot of them seemed to be regulars. The general mood in there is just great and very comfy. The only thing is they do not have a great magazine selection. read more

This has become my new nail place. The salon is bright and clean, and everyone who works there is consistently friendly and respectful (even when I've seen other customers acting extremely annoying or rude!). The manicures they do last a good week and they do a great job - they seem to pay more attention to detail than other places. Yay! If your getting a pedicure dont let the only guy that works there do it. My toe nails werent painted that well! I also got the Shellac and that was ok. If you the basics then you can do it yourself and more than likely do it better! read more

This is my new go to nail salon. My nails look great which is the most important thing, but also important is the wonderful experience. These women and men are super friendly and really spend extra time to make sure you are comfortable and happy. The foot massage with the basic pedi was at least 10-15 minutes and the back massage at the end was the cherry on top! Prices are good too! read more

This place is fantastic! I had been a loyal customer at another place down the street, but decided to give this place a try as they're a little bit closer to home. The decor is simple, but spotless. Super clean work stations, no nail clippings or dead skin in sight and tools that looks like they haven't been used before. I had a mani-pedi and the woman working on me was attentive, careful and gentle. I had the basic, no extra services, but she spent a lot of time and gave me a wonderful foot and hand massage. She also gave me a shoulder massage while I was at the drying station, which I haven't expereinced in a long time. The staff was friendly and low-key. I will be coming back on a regular basis. I highly recommend this place. The customer service is excellent. read more

Great place!! Been going here every Friday with a friend and we always have the same two manicurists. They know we come together and they make sure we are sitting together for our manicures, sometime pedicures and when drying. They take their time and are very meticulous. They shape your nails perfectly and ask you along the way how you like it. Very attentive and never rushed. They fix mistakes and are complete perfectionists. The products they use smell great and feel even better. I highly recommend this place. It looks small from the outside, but it is fantastic. Much better than any of the other more expensive and flashy places in the neighborhood. They get new colors often (but still keep the old ones) and so color selection is always a lot of fun. Great long massages, never full of pounding like some places. The only negative is there is a guy who works there with clammy hands. But if you ask for one of the girls they have no problem giving you someone else. They also charge $1 extra for quick dry. Go here! They are the best in Park Slope. read more

I have recently moved to Brooklyn and hoped to find a nail salon comparable to my place on Long Island. When I entered the salon, one worker was present. There was a language barrier. I had to point to "UV gel" to tell her what I wanted. The manicure itself was pleasant. There was no chit chat between myself and the woman doing my nails, but she openly chatted with other workers as they showed up. She took her time and was very precise. Unfortunately, my gel manicure (usually lasts me two-three weeks) chipped within 24 hours. The tips of my nails began to peel back. For 30$, instead of my usual 20, and for a day of I chipped nails I will not be going back. For the price, the outcome is not worth it. read more

6/4/2013 I have been a regular customer for about a year. The women who work there all know me and I have been generally happy. For Mother's Day my husband bought me three gift certificates for mani/pedi at $30 each. My mother (it was mother's day...) threw them out by accident. They were not lost, but thrown in the trash for certain. I went to the salon knowing they keep copies of the gift certificates and that they know me as a regular but, even though they know me and were able to find the copies in the book, they would not help me in any way. They said I could give them to a friend and then get double service. I asked why, as a regular, I would take such a risk. They said someone could find them and i pointed out that they have no identifying anything on them. So, this incident is totally on me, but growing up in the service industry, I have to say, you generally do something to make a regular feel happy and appreciated. Even if they couldn't replace the whole thing, maybe half? It just seems what you do rather than lose an excellent customer. They basically accused me of trying to scam them. I won't be going back. I would rather go somewhere where my regular business means something. read more

Was good the first time I went. Not fantastic but okay for a cheap place. Second time I went they were very busy I paid for a 10 minute chair massage the woman was completely distracted and did not give a very good massage. When I asked to have help with my shoes at the end they were rude and essentially through the foot wrap at me and told me to do it myself. Which I would normally gladly do but I'm seven months pregnant and it's not easy plus I was wearing running shoes which I had to ruin my manicure in order to put on. read more

I personally like a very thorough pedicure: cutting, filing, cuticles, etc. However, most salons performing such pedicures require advance appointments and, ummm, my life is rather unpredictable. In such situations Spa Boutique is just the salon you need. The place is immaculate, staff is very friendly, and for a great price you get your basic pedicure AND a back rub. So, yeah, I'd prefer a more thorough pedicure, but I wasn't expecting such when I came to Spa Boutique and I was completely satisfied with what I got. read more
