After the watching that Goop Netflix episode w threadlifts, I decided I wanted to get a thread lift before my 4-0 birthday. Yeah I'm that person. I went to Spa De La Peau because they have some of the latest beauty technologies and hard to find K beauty product lines. Also, they have nurse Alexis Jang who literally is the hand of God when it comes to injections and threads. Thanks to the Goop Netflix episode, I was expecting to look like the Joker for a week...and I was ok with that, as long as I got results. Well, I got results immediately. After calling around and seeking more information, I decided to give Spa De La Peau a try. I received service from Nurse Diane who was very kind and informative. I was taken into a room where I would stay for the remainder of the IV session. It was very comfortable with the option to watch TV as I received treatment. If youre scared of needles, don't be. Diane has many years of nursing experience and she made it pain free. I decided to go with the Hydration IV with Vitamin B, C, and D add on. Since this was my first time getting laser on my face, I tried it with the benefit of doubt that it would make my face slimmer. I am so happy to have found this place in LA! This is my favorite go-to for touch ups or facials. I have been doing extensive research on different procedures to address some of the concerns I had (dark circles/puffy under eyes). I had been considering fillers, surgery, threads (you name it) but during the consultation they were honest and wanted to start off with less invasive procedures that would not fix but help with building collagen around the eyes. We went through the Vivace Microneedle RF facial and used my own PRP. The pain was tolerable and not that bad. I wanted to share what my eyes looked like the day after. I don't know how long this will last but I definitely want to embrace this as part of my beauty regimen on a monthly or quarterly basis!
