I went here to get a few beauty marks/moles removed on my face. Texted for an appointment and it was so easy! Lots of availability. I got booked within the week. - I checked in at the front desk, and after an assessment of the moles I wanted gone, I got a quote and told the aftercare. I had 5 moles (all flat to touch but 2 were darker and they said it could take up to 3 sessions to remove). $200 for everything, including the follow up sessions. Not sure the per mole cost or what factors they consider. I saw another Yelp review mentioned her quote was also $200 for 11 moles. - Numbing cream was put on me. Half an hour later, I go into the room and numbing injections are done to each mole. This was the only part that hurt-- felt like a very sharp pinch. Then she starts lasering (painless). After 10-15 minutes, I'm all done! - Hydrocolloid bandaids are put on each mole and I check out. They accept credit card, zelle, and Venmo but prefer Zelle. I was a client of this consultant and only later discovered many complaints about her on RedNote. She mainly targeted Chinese clients and acted very pushy and unprofessional. She kept asking people to send tips through Zelle and pressured you if you didn't send them right away. The tips weren't even necessary, which made the whole situation feel suspicious, even if I can't confirm anything. She also lied about her background to gain trust and pushed unnecessary treatments using deposit excuses. Overall, the experience felt uncomfortable and not trustworthy at all. Her pressure and speed was like she was writing a angry letter to Trump. I was the sheet of paper and her hands were the pencil. I stumbled upon a TikTok video where a woman recommended this clinic to remove moles and skin tags. I decided to try it, and I'm thrilled that I did. The staff was kind, and the service was super quick. I had a lot of miles/ tags on my face and neck. After getting my moles and tags burned off, my skin scabbed, and the smaller scabs started falling off after day four. This was my first time and I was here for a mole removal. I was originally told on the phone a month ago that each mole was $5 but when I made an appointment I was told each is $5~20 depending on the size, which is still reasonable. As I was waiting in the waiting area,the receptionist put numbing cream on and when I I got called in they put the numbing shot which was the most painful part lol the laser didn't hurt at all! I have 2 more sessions to go as I was told just one session isn't going to fully remove it. So I paid $50 for 3 sessions for 3 moles. One note is that, a tip is asked at the receptionist even if it's not for skincare/massage. I was surprised at that since I was here for a laser treatment rather than beauty treatment. The treatment itself was like 10~15min and super fast! You don't need to sign in or anything and there really isn't any instructions so I was honestly unsure if it was a doctor who saw me or if it was an assistant lol I think if you have some knowledge in Korean everything will be easier? Yelp 100 Challenge 2018: 57/100 It's my first time ever getting pampered at a facial shop, and I am so glad I came to Lavender Skin Care for my first experience! My friend brought me to Lavender Skin Care since she had been here before from a referral. What I really appreciated from this place is that it's located on the more quiet side of k-town, so we were able to find parking very easily in the parking lot right behind the structure. The shop is towards the end of a hallway on the 3rd floor, and it wasn't too hard to find. While we were waiting, I noticed that they have a lot of different technology for different treatments that they offer. All the machines seemed to be imported from Korea and I have no doubt that this place is one of the ones that kept up to the latest technology in Korea. What really put me at ease for some of the more technical procedures is that they have their certificates lined on the wall (similar to a doctor's office) so that you know that they are certified for the work they are performing on your face. We were greeted immediately as soon as we walked in, and the owner came to check us out. She pointed towards my friend (who had been there twice before this visit) and recommended that she does a follow up session for her pimples. Whereas for me, I opted for just a regular facial and massage. The owner was not pushy at all on the treatments that she wanted us to get, and told us what our options were and how much it would cost and left it up to us to make our own decision which I really appreciated. We were quickly escorted to our room, and I was so pleasantly surprised that I got to share the same room with my friend! The room was very clean and inviting, with warm beds waiting for us to lay on for our appointment. Our helpers greeted us and immediately started working on our face. During our session, there was calm, serene music playing in the background. I was very relaxed and enjoyed being able to just let my hair down and be pampered for a while. Since it was my first time, I had no idea what to expect and what was going to be done to my face. My helper was very gentle and probably understood that it was my first time, and therefore explained everything she was doing to me before she began. She also helped me removed some of my black heads during the facial and gave me a very thorough massage. I couldn't believe how quickly the session had ended, even though I got more than what I had paid for. Everyone that helped us out were very friendly and made my session very enjoyable. When I went to work the next day, my coworkers asked why I was radiating and if I did anything special. I don't mean to be like this. However this place is horrible. The room I was I had no AC they had to keep the door open and all I heard was people walking around and laughing. I have eyelash extensions on and they never once asked me anything and decided to start with the procedure. I had to ask for something to cover my eyes mid procedure. The product felt and smelled cheap and all I was getting was a bunch of stuff thrown on my face. I am now breaking out and my husband who went with me had extraction and his face still feels tender and also has bumps. I won't be back here ever again I don't know how they have all these great reviews. Outside of the friendly welcome it's downhill from there. read more

The facials are the best in town - I have the 'whitening' series as I had serious hyperpigmentation on my cheeks which is nearly gone. Nana my facialist has incredible hands to massage my neck, shoulders, back and arms as the peeling solution works. Then massage on my face, steaming, pore cleaning, hydro cleaning that sucks everything else out, numbing cream and mask. Then Angela works her magic with lasers. Last week I had Mr. Kim inject PRP and Rejuran (salmon DNA) under my eyes as I was very dark especially in the tear trough - I look twenty years younger now - no bruising either. Parking was ample and I was able to find their location easily. However I was texted a couple of times leading up to my appointment date to change my appointment time. Might be a staffing related issue. Staff was polite and easily accommodated me even when I was 15 min late for my appointment. I opted for the "Silver V - lifting" session and my esthetician was great, checking in to make sure pressure for massage or the tools she were using felt okay. The facial, décolleté area, neck, back and head massages were fantastic and the products applied smelled wonderful. However, a good portion of the session was dedicated for a face mask being applied to let set while the esthetician leaves. Definitely have cash for tip as they do accept credit cards for charging only for the service but not including the tip. On the suggestion from my esthetician, I had mole/skin tag removal. My niece and her boyfriend suggested this location, and he recently had it done. First off, the ladies here are very nice. I was nervous as hell, because I wasn't sure what to expect., but they really handled me with gloves, and soothed my fears. First, we started with the numbing of my entire face. After about 20 mins, we began. I wasn't really aware of the magnitude of moles on my face until this procedure. I won't lie, it was a bit painful, but not anything that I couldn't handle...(and my threshold for pain is low). It took about an hour and a half to complete the procedure, and your face is left looking a wreck (only if you have a face full of moles, but it's so worth it). Fast forward 5 days. After washing my face, the crust from the procedure is beginning to fall off, and OMGGGGGGGG, I don't recognize myself. My skin looks amazing....which is something I have never said. I only had a 3 spot on my face and it's getting bigger and bigger. They told me it's natural and it will removed if I do every 2 weeks. Lol. I really waste my money and time here! I used to go to another place and decided to try a new place so scheduled an appointment for skincare. I haven't had a facial since February of 2020 and when I went a few weeks go to get skincare.... It was terrible! First being a new client, the person didn't ask me to fill out any forms, or any paperwork or any covid temperature checks or anything. I was led to the room and got my skincare done by this older lady. There was barely any extractions done and then the questions she asked was so tacky. She asked me how big my ring was ... why does that matter? It's none of your business. Then when I was done, they were trying to sell me a package for $1000... sorry but there are plenty of other places that charge less than that for packages and maybe if they were using products that I knew i could justify the price. Had my moles removed (seeing as how it was rainy and not a lot of sunlight) since I felt it was time, and I was amazed at how quick it was. Yes it was painful having novacaine injected as a numbing agent, but that short moment of pain made the rest of the removal process easier to handle. Ms. Seo personally took care of the process and boy was she fast. The removal process took maybe 30 min, and plenty of time was spent applying a cold mask along with ice packs to reduce swelling and promote quick recovery. They also applied silicone tape which aids with recovery for the larger moles as well. They do have the laser treatment option, but I was recommended the electronic pen which burns away the mole from the surface due to how deep the roots were for mine. They provide tea and coffee and every member of their staff are kind so don't be afraid to ask questions! read more
