Been here multiple times since they have a great deal on couples massages. A lot of negative reviews mention credit card fees / asking for tips / Groupon drama. Asian massage places are typically cash only, and the prices are pretty low so a cash tip minimum is the norm. What really matters imo is the quality of the work - every massage I've had here has been amazing and the staff are very professional and nice. If you're looking for a cheap massage with no tip I recommend the massage chairs at Queen's Center Mall. read more

Bought two groupons for massages here and they were so unexcited to accommodate us! Only offered us one time all weekend because it was a Groupon. Said we'd have to pay $10 tax each upon arrival even though deal said all taxes and fees included. I bought the two massages on groupon individually (first got one for my boyfriend and then he asked if we could go together so got one for me too) instead of the couple's one. I asked on the phone if we could still be in the same room and they said yes but then wanted to charge us $25 extra to do that when we got there, even though the room was available and their couple's massage price does not seem to include that "room fee". Girl working the front desk did not seem to give a hoot about customer service either. Also, don't buy the groupon the same day you want to go because they can't accommodate that either! They will just tell you to return the groupon and buy a normal price massage. Long story short they just seem too sketchy to be worth the trip out to Queens. After the extra fees on top of the groupon it is actually more expensive than massages elsewhere. I've also seen a lot of reviews where people complain that the owner will come and yell at you if you don't tip above ten bucks (and I totally agree if the service is good the tip should at least be that, but no one should come and force you to do that; if that's your policy just tell people ahead of time or put it on a sign somewhere) We actually left and went to this very nice place in Brooklyn Heights called Four Seasons and had much better service, no weird surprise fees, and a lower cost WITHOUT any Groupon deal. That was the worst massage I ever had Lisa was so rough and moved so fast it was like she had no coordination and had to make sure she finished the massage on time. I was on my stomach the whole hour and she didn't spend enough time on my legs or back . Lisa only used one hot stone on my back and used it so fast jus up n down it was not a spa experience. She did not massage my temple or even my feet. It was a FULL BODY massage and that is not what she gave me, she also bend my legs back like far back and that hurt. I still tipped her but U gave less than usual because it wasn't even worth a tip I just didn't want to be harassed for a tip. Went there and the owner asked me not to buy the Groupon and that he will match the price. We were running late and he called us over 10 times to find out where we are, meanwhile we told what time we will be there, then he hangs up the phone. He was so disparate. Then we go and ask him why he hung he said ohh because people tend to do that a lot and don't show up. We told him we were running late and we called you to let you know. Customer service is horrible at this place. They forced me and my girls to pay cash upfront. (I should've seen the signs on the wall from the beginning by seeing how rude the owner is). The owner forced me and my girls to go the bank and get cash and not pay him with card. Then I get the massage and the guy demands me to tip the girl 15 dollars for a 40 dollar service???. The owner was way too rude and loud, he was yelling at me for tipping the girl $5 dollars. I told him I don't have any more cash. He asked me not to come back. I told him that I won't because of his horrible service and customer service... his demands, unprofessionalism and loud voice were not acceptable at all. I went in for a 60 minute VIP full body massage. At first I was a little hesitant so I didn't have too much of an expectation. The spa is nice and clean with a very relaxing vibe - how a spa should be. My girl Tina was just amazing. I have very tense neck and shoulders and asked her to concentrate on those areas. She did such an amazing job, I felt like a jelly fish when she finished. The next morning, I was a little sore but that's how it should be after a good deep tissue. She really worked to get my knots out and I couldn't have asked for a better job. I've been to so many spas all over the city and even out of country but I have to say - Tina really tops them all. I went there because someone gave me groupon voucher. I am giving them two stars because the massage was great even though she didn't speak a single word of English and the place is somewhat clean. However, I was forced and threaten to pay 10 in tip which was more than 20% of the value of the voucher. The lady didn't speak a word of English but she surely went and complained about the tip. Honestly I wasn't expecting much because of that price but after a long night my friend and I were dehydrated and tired of walking so we Google mapped and this was the best looking place. Set an appointment and went in and INSIDE is BRAND NEW!!! Clean facilities are always a must and this place had nice interior design that felt cozy, like a place to escape from life and was CLEAN. They did full body front and back. And really focused on us both in our private room. The massage therapists were extremely sweet and polite and I could tell they actually cared about enhancing our comfort. That's what's most important. Them treating us like we're someone special. They went over their time even And didn't seem like they were Rushing whatsoever. They took their time. I live in Brooklyn and will take the trip out of the way for this place as much as possible! This is a cute spot where you can just relax and kick back. Pricing is really affordable. One hour massage for two is $83 when paying cash. I would recommend. The retail price was 90$, Groupon price was like 70 something, so I don't know how they go about calculating their tax but it just doesn't add up. Anyways, so it was a couples massage that I purchased and I had an appointment for 3pm, but when we got there we had to wait about 15 minutes. I also thought it was kinda weird that our masseuses were a male and a female but the male massaged me and the woman massaged my husband. Last minute massage needed after shoveling snow for the past two days , they gladly took reservations last minute giving us the groupon deal. Arriving early, we were set up straight away to get our massages. The only thing I would suggest is for there to be more accommodation when undressing and leaving our clothes somewhere . We were undressing in the room where our dirty snow boots was and didn't have anywhere to place our clothes. Otherwise! We got the couples Swedish massage for 1 hr, it was more then worth it . The place was clean, modern, and a comfortable size. The man did my whole body and included hot towels, hot stones, front and back massage, head and foot. Booked a couple massage with my boyfriend and the lady spent a lot of time on my butt which was weird during I tried to ignore it until I asked my boyfriend after and he said she didn't even go NEAR his butt. I had a groupon and had an absolutely amazing massage. I was asked to pay $8 tax fee at the counter and she specified that was not the tip. I emailed groupon to inquire and they asked me to send them a pic of the receipt, but stupid me didn't get a receipt for the fake fee. I'm not one to write reviews but after today's experience, i think it's only appropriate. I booked a 60 minute massage here and I had bought the voucher on Groupon. Let me first begin by saying that their deal on Groupon states regular price 60 minute massage is $70 and discounted Groupon price is $45. That's a lie. If you walk into their office space the listed price for a 60 minute massage is $40, therefore you're actually paying more by buying the Groupon. I wish I would've known this prior to purchasing Groupon! Secondly, not only do you pay $45 for the Groupon but they also charge a $5 "tax" upon arrival to redeem your Groupon. Therefore the massage is already Costing you $50, which is a $10 up charge from the walk in price. Lastly, aside from the financial aspect of this horrible business, this has been the absolute worst massage I've ever gotten. After leaving that place I feel like I need a massage from that massage ! My masseuse or should I even call her that, started off very very very light. Basically just rubbing my body with no energy. I then asked her to go a little harder which I assume upset her and she begin massaging me with her elbows and digging her elbows into my rib cage and into my underarms ! Never have I had my underarms massages by an elbow. This was an absolute horrible experience and I just lost out on $50. Oh wait, actually $60 because they MANDATE you give a $10 tip Even tho tip isn't MANDATORY anywhere. I was so fed up and left the $10 to avoid further issues. I just got home from my first massage at Spahh Spa. I was going to try this place because I found a groupon for it, but after calling to make my appointment and finding out that they will honor the groupon price for cash payment and then save yourself the credit card processing fee I opted to cancel my groupon and just pay cash. I was a few minutes late (it's murder trying to cross Qns Blvd by car in that area - severe delays), but was greeted with a smile and shown to my room. The room was toasty warm. My masseur, James, was wonderful. I have horrible posture and my shoulders/neck/upper back are always tight - they feel fluid and relaxed now. There is a particular amount of pressure that can be applied around the shoulder blades which provides the desired results, rather than just pain, and his pressure was perfect. The music was relaxing and I was nearly asleep about 1/2 way through. The hot stones felt amazing and I left there very relaxed and super happy with this find. I used to travel to China Town to get a $40/hr massage, and while those were effective they were pretty over-the-top rough, and although I enjoy the results of deep pressure I prefer a bit of finesse to temper the pain - I feel just as relaxed as when I've gone to CT, but don't feel beat up. I also thought it was nice that he finished working on my face and went a couple minutes past the timer. I will definitely go back here. My birthday is next month and I think I'm going to book back to back 60 min full body/60 min foot reflexology. A few other notes: I like that they have a frequent customer program (after 10, your 11th hour is free), and they give you water at the end and have candies at the counter. Finally, the place was very clean and I liked that James used something on his hands to remove all the oil before beginning the facial massage and thoroughly wipes the oil from your body with warm towels so that your clothes aren't damaged.
