Well, the place was clean and efficient. That's the part I liked. I bought a Groupon and did a couples massage and it was nice that we were in the same room and got to experience it together. However I don't feel my massage was as great. My back was the only thing that was really focused on and that was not what I had in mind. I was ready for a full body. Unfortunately I cannot remember my masseuses name, but I do feel it could have been 10x better. Used a Groupon. Paid the tax when I got there which was expected. Place was clean. The room was dimly lit and there was music relaxing playing. They took us on time for a couples massage. We were introduced to the people doing our massages and we changed. They immediately began the massages, no discussion on pressure or where to focus on the body. I thought my massage was a little too much pressure and the focus was mostly on my back which would not have been my preference. I didn't feel I could communicate well with my masseuse. I enjoyed the work on my legs and arms but would have liked more focus have been on my feet. My partner liked his massage and didn't have any complaints. I was very warm during the massage and they brought in a fan for me which was really nice. Pleased by the massage that i received today! Place is clean and the girls working there are very sweet and know what they are doing. The manager at the front need's to be upfront with what a customer needs to pay. A First before i made the appointment he said that i have to pay $43 dollars, and after i finish with the massage i was told to pay cash. i purchased a groupon for a couples full body massage. the first thing when you enter you're charged with $10 for "tax". the service was excellent and we were ready to come back and recommend this spa. but they messed up our experience at the end, they told us that we were obligated to pay each masseuse a $10 tip. we gave each a $5 for tip but the demanded more, the receptionist even went as far as bringing the owner so he can speak to us. he said that we had to give a minimum of $10 for each. we went back and forward until i just walked away. i will never return because tip is not obligated nor a must. read more

I recently bought a groupon for this location. I don't know what it is with businesses and GROUPON itself but I don't think I'll ever be purchasing deals off of groupon again. I don't like the way us the consumers are treated by the businesses when they find out we are paying through groupon. Last night I called in to make an appt a few hours later. The person who answered the phone said 8 pm was available and it was fine. She then proceeded to ask me how I was going to pay. I said I had purchased a groupon. She said she could not book me because "groupon availability" was booked. I was so confused at this point, I also felt like she wanted to hang up on me! Confused I asked her if I can speak to a manager or her "boss". She replied saying no one was in. She then I guess noticed I wanted further explanation and she said "my boss says we don't make money off groupons"...... I didn't want to hear anymore after this, but she continued...."yeah he says that he can only take 10 groupons a day because it's not enough to pay the person giving you the massage"...... Baffled at this point (because I don't think she should be telling me this lol).... She begins to tell me "you should return the groupon and I will give you the same price for it if you pay cash here" ......... Honestly at this point I DO WANT TO RETURN THE GROUPON. If they're ( the business) going to treat me better and hopefully not give me a half assed massage by paying them directly THEN YES I WILL DEFINITELY return the groupon. I just had an ok 90 minute massage. The guy is much better but the lady is ok. I called to Inquire about the Yelp check in special and I was told it was still valid. The pictures attached are the price list in the entrance. Long story short when I went to pay the guy told me the regular price was $100 so my total was $50. That the prices in the entrance are inaugural prices. Why should I have asked about the prices when they were in the entrance and on their fliers !!! I set up my reservation on Labor day, and even though I arrived 10 minutes late I was greeted warmly, and the service I received was exemplary. I was happy to have the place to myself so I could enjoy a quiet and relaxing massage. Would never go back there again. When this place first opened we my girlfriend and I had met the owner who was a male . Now I call there and and ask for him and they put on Asian female who is rude and obnoxious and because of that we would never go back again. I dont like that . The woman with the glasses at the front desk when you get off the elevator is rude and I dont like her either. She thinks she owns the place and clearly she does not and just a hourly worker. This spa will hopefully become my staple place it is very hard to find a clean, convenient location with great services in Queens. It was relaxing and the foot massage was great! I've been here twice and both times I have thoroughly enjoyed my massage. This last time that I went the guy worked my whole body and especially my my problem areas like my neck and back. I really did feel the difference after and only wish I would have gotten his name so I can get him again. I'm sore two days later in my lower back but I hear that's common for a deep tissue massage. I would go again if I'm looking for affordable and effective. The place is clean and decent and parking (metered) was easy to get. You get what you pay for, no frills. If you want the massage to be an experience from start to finish (water, tea, robes, aromatherapy, etc) look elsewhere and pay three times the amount. I have been about 3 times now and the body massages meet my expectations however the prices that you see online is not the actual price. Although the website have the foot massages for 28$ in reality they charge you 35$. Same as the body massage. I believe it's a reasonable price to pay 35$ for a full body massage but they are so many great locations in rego that gives great foot massages for 28-30$. STAY AWAY! Worst place ever. I've been to my fair share of sketchy asian massage parlors but this was awful. They had terrible customer service and a mediocre massage. I received a Groupon to this place as a holiday gift for a one-hour massage. I booked an 11am appt and showing up at 10:50 was told that I might have to wait a few minutes. I ended up WAITING ONE HOUR! And the skeevy front desk guy lied to me about it the whole time. First, it was a few minutes then 20 minutes. Knowing what a hassle this would be since it was a gift, I waited until the masseuse arrived: Pros: none Cons: Massage/masseuse: The massage was a combo of her digging her thumbs into me and arm work; so much so that I felt like I was being massaged by an oily rolling pin. At two points she leaves the room without covering me up and one of the times, SHE LEAVES THE DOOR OPEN! She didn't speak a lick of English which didn't help things. She also didn't time the massage correctly such that when the buzzer went off, she still wasn't done. So she said she would do me "a favor" and give me 10 more minutes because she kept me waiting. OH PLEASE! (I got up and left) Space/Ambiance: Nothing special. It was freaking cold and of course when I said this, all i got was a chuckle and a comment that my hands were icy. I have been to this place a few times. Usually purchase a Groupon because I get a better deal through them and you know, times are tough but you still need a massage. It's a very nice and clean place . It's inconsistent in regards to who is working that day , you might end up with a male or female masseuse . You might get a great deep tissue massage that you wanted or you might get glided like a cat. You see where I'm going with this. A lot of "mights" and hence the inconsistency. The most recent time I went . I got a great deep tissue massage addressing the bulk of my trigger points in my upper, mid and low back regions but there was no fluidity in the massage . It was mainly palpating here and breaking trigger points and on to the next one. It didn't really have a "relaxation" factor that a massage should have . More of a search and destroy mode. I have been to a lot of different massage place both professional and "china-town" and needless to say , they are both a hit or miss at any given time . They require to tip 10$ minimum. When I called prior they said the massage would be 46$ but nothing about a required tip. Even though I gave 6$ tip they looked unpleased and asked for more. I believe tip should be as much as you think offered service deserves it. Otherwise they could state straight the total would be 56$ not 46$ prior the appointment. This was my first time getting a massage ever in a spa and honestly I hated it. First off, the lady who massaged me would be talking and laughing with another worker during the whole thing (not relaxing at all) and I had to constantly tell the woman that the way she was massaging me actually hurt and I didn't like it. AND while I was getting my massage, the man opened up our room door when i was naked (backside) to talk to the workers. I understand he needs to tell them something but is there no privacy? I specifically asked if it was a female to massage me for my comfort so it bothered me when he did that. Even though i didn't like the massage and my back hurt after I still managed to tip 5$ because she worked on me. I paid 35$ for the massage. When i was leaving the lady looked pissed and the guy in the front told me it was 10$ required tip and nowhere did it say that. I think that is completely rude that they would even ask for MORE tip (especially for a crap job) and lie saying it was mandatory. When i was in the elevator, mind you, the elevator is already closed and i pushed to go to the first floor but they control the elevator (i know because when i first got there I had to call upstairs because the elevator was "locked" and even though i pushed to go upstairs it wouldn't let me, you need a card) and he doesn't let the elevator go, he opens it, puts his hand in front of the elevator and says i didn't charge 8$ tax. What! I feel like that was a way to just get more money out of me and he was completely rude about it. I paid when I arrived so I'm not sure why he wouldn't tell me when i did my payment and zdo it all together. Makes no sense to me. At the end he disgustingly said "thank you, you are so generous." I purchased a Groupon for this place and went with 2 other people for my birthday on 3/2/18. While the massage was amazing the staff fights with you for a larger tip. First off they count their tips in front of you and in their language they complain about what they get. If they didn't charge you a $4 tip before the massage they'd get more because they clearly don't tell you that when you call to make the appointment. You go with a specific amount of cash for a tip and it gets cut into because they want to charge you tax on it . When I got to the front, the receptionist demanded I give them more money and told me there was a sign on the counter on what they're SUPPOSED to get. I told her it was a tip, she shouldn't be telling me how much I'm supposed to be giving them. I loved the service, the hot stones on my back was EVERYTHING.. but I will take my green elsewhere.
