The entire place felt severely understaffed. One of the biggest reasons we chose this spa was the salt cave, which they promote heavily, yet we were asked to leave because of a "private event." The facilities were also poorly designed. The only showers are located near the heated pool, steam room, and sauna, so you're sweating again immediately after trying to rinse off. Basic amenities were lacking. No brushes or bags were available unless you went searching, and the space lacked the little touches you'd expect from a luxury spa. While my full body massage was the only redeeming part of the visit, my friend had a not so great experience. We booked an additional $300 in foot massages in the salt cave (on top of our $200 full body treatments), only to find out that it was not going to be done by massage therapists, but nail technicians. They were very nice, but there was no real pressure or technique. It felt like a total waste of money. You should really disclose that. We also ordered a bottle of Moscato and weren't allowed to keep it at our table. We had to go find someone just to get a refill. This was a $750 visit that didn't feel luxurious in the slightest. If you're looking for a real spa experience, I highly recommend going to the Houstonian instead. This spa just didn't deliver in service, amenities, or value. ***********Update: The manager was suppose to call us but she never did. I called and spoke to Tracy and she did not understand my frustration about my massage being done by a nail tech. She said she would call me back and never did. Hopefully you never need help from a manager because they don't care!

Also a lack of communication of pricing and consultation fees of $25.00 they failed to inform they are utilizing the gift card for the consultation transaction. I was told my massage was $120 but they deducted $165 from my gift card. Very bad customer service and lack of knowledge. A total headache utilizing my gift card. Karina the Supervisor talked over me trying to prove her point which is unprofessional as Manager. Granted I had to call a staff that no longer works there to see what services I did get complete because they couldn't explain that dates and times of services. You printed out a document that made no sense to me and as mentioned you must communicate the transaction along with receipt after each service upon redeeming the gift card. Your accounting is a tally that only makes sense to an employee and still then your receptionist repeated she couldn't explain the $25 fee either she mentioned it would tack off my service and once again lack of communication. My massage was so relaxing, probably the most relaxing massage I've had in awhile. Pressure was perfect, stones were a nice touch, and scents used were just right and not triggering for my migraines. The room was dimly lit, relaxing soft music, love that the massage tables are warmed/heated, because I'm always freezing! They weren't able to add on 30 minutes, however, it was a last minute request and it just gives me an excuse to come back soon! Very relaxing experience and treat for Mother's Day weekend.
