Splendor is absolutely amazing! I came in to get my birthday nails done and gave them a relatively complicated inspiration picture, but they broke it down with me to a tea and adjusted as needed to make it look the best throughout the service. I've moved to a new state twice now and both times, it was so scary to try to find a good nail person without knowing anyone to recommend someone. THANK YOU Lyndsay K. and Yelp! When I moved from Michigan to North Carolina in 2007, I wasn't on Yelp yet and went ahead and just took my nails off because I didn't know where to go. A friend at work recommended someone and I ended up going to her for three years! I loved her... and then they closed their salon and I was again in search of a nail girl. I ended up going to a few different places in the last year that I was in NC, and then in June of this year, I finally find someone that I liked again, only to turn around and move. I was in desperate need of a fill and after breaking a nail yesterday, I decided that I needed to just trust Yelp and find somewhere GREAT. When I saw Lyndsay's review for Spa Nails, I decided to give them a call and see what their hours were. I talked to Peter on the phone, explained what I was looking for, and he said to come on in at anytime. I headed out a few minutes after the call and prayed that it would be a good experience. All I can say is that Peter was AMAZING! My nails look INCREDIBLE and while he had to remove my old, damaged nails, he did it without any problems. We chatted and chatted the whole time and it was like talking to an old friend. We talked about our kids, he gave me suggestions for places to see and visit in the area, and was just really nice. I feel like I won the lottery with going to Spa Nails and finding the best nail person that I've ever had. Peter is so talented and takes each fill as a challenge. His work is like artistry and the way he shaped, and worked the brush was like an artist at work. It was wonderful. I HIGHLY recommend Spa Nails! Incredible value and great service. I can usually get a walk-in for my 4 year old daughter and she gets her nails painted for $4, no matter what. Blue? $4. 10 colors of the rainbow? $4. In and out in 20 minutes and the girlie is floating. They have chairs and the full spa experience, but they don't mind us coming in for a tiny paint job and don't cut any corners: remove polish, buff, prime coat, color, glitter coat, top coat, dry. I found Spa Nails while driving around my office on my lunch break. I needed a pedicure in a desperate way, as I had a date that night and needed my toes to look lickable. Duh. Honestly - I hate trying new nail salons or eyebrow waxers...you just never know what you'll get. But I took a chance on Spa Nails. I haven't gone anywhere else since that day back In February, as Lynn did an AWESOME job on my pedi. I'll even drive all the way up here on the weekends. They're that good. Shortly after getting the best pedicure I started doing my nails there, too, and every nail tech I've had has done a fantastic job. They know me by name and have since the second time I went in there - probably less because I'm so sweet and cute and more because I tip really well. Oh, and my favorite thing? Lynn, who always does my pedicures now, doesn't just put lotion on my feet and legs - she massages all the way the middle of my thigh! What?! The first time I thought I was on my way to a happy ending! Now I just sit back and know that while that's not where it's going I still get to leave with the most relaxed leg muscles ever. A little understaffed, only two people working at the time but everyone is very nice and understanding. Not very talkative so if you want a relationship with your nail artist, probably not a place for you. But everything is clean and quiet, a very nice place to relax and a small color selection. They offer a lot of different nail options too. read more

Decided to check this place out based on good reviews. I'm giving two stars based on Yelp's definition of two stars which is "Meh. I've experienced better." I've been trying to find a new nail salon and I will have to keep looking. I may go again to give them another chance but honestly, I wasn't thrilled with the experience. Maybe I am just getting too picky about nail services but getting my nails done is something I look forward to, and not something I have the time or money to have done all the time. I had a gel manicure and regular pedicure with callous remover treatment which cost $52.00. What I liked: I was the only customer so I was waited on immediately. Gel manicure looks nice. Decent selection of polish colors. What I didn't like: Woman who did my pedicure cut my toenail cuticle and I bled. Then of course, it hurt for the rest of the pedicure. That pretty much made my decision to not return. Owner was sitting in a spa chair playing his music on his laptop over the speakers in the salon very loudly. They had a TV on which I was trying to watch but I couldn't hear anything because he kept turning up his music. Overall, it's just another sub par strip mall nail salon. I drive to Buford as much as I can to hit my favorite salon for nails, but it's always horrible traffic and a huge chunk of time doing that. So I decided to look into other salons closer and give it a try. Came here with my six year old and boyfriend. I had a manicure, he had a pedi, and my daughter got both. One cool thing if you have kids is they have two chairs with bear heads on them, and a DVD player. It unfortunately didn't work when we were there, but what a great idea! I had a guy do my nails, and he was very gentle. I'm actually used to a bit more force with the cuticle removal. It felt kinda weird, but it looked good when he was done. I am thrilled my polish still looks great over a week later with regular polish. And they take American Express! My boyfriend said his tech was very gentle too, but said they did a good job. My daughter's nails looked great. I think I've finally found my new place to go when I can't make it to Buford. Yippee! read more

I love having my pedicures done here! The ladies who do the pedis are top notch and very friendly. I always leave there so relaxed and love It! They give an amazing foot and leg massage during the pedi as well. The salon is very clean and open. My favorite days are sitting in their massage chairs with the breeze coming through their front door. Prices are extremely reasonable and my pedi always lasts 2-3 times longer than any other pedi I've received in other places. They are worth the drive!! read more

Spa nails is my absolute favorite nail salon! It's family owned and very clean and comfortable. My gel polish has lasted as long as 4 weeks without a single chip. And best of all they use LED lights to cure the polish, which takes less time and is safer than UV units. The pricing is very reasonable as well. read more

Lynn is without a doubt the BEST at what she does. I have been going to Spa Nails for about 3 years now. Lynn does my manicures and pedicures and she is the best I have ever had in the 30 years I have been getting them. It is an absolute treat for her to take care of you.
