I was looking for a last-minute place to get my daughters birthday nails done. Our day was off to a late start and she also had a hair appointment that ran over so it was already after 6 PM when we walked in. However, staff was very welcoming and willing to complete her very detailed nail design without hesitation. it took two nail technicians to complete her nail art and it turned out so beautifully. Came here today for the first time. I was pleasantly surprised! Located next to Mello Mushroom in the plaza with The Forum. I was greeted and asked to pick my color. My nail tech then covered my bowl to place my feet in with a plastic cover. Sanitary concerns banished! My nail tech did a great job tending to my feet! I will come here from now on, they just earned a new customer. An added plus is that I can place my tip on the charge card. I don't carry cash all the time, so this is a huge plus for me. This is under new management. The previous owners moved to Florida. the new group is very sweet but need more practice. I've tried them 2x but both times the sns broke and nails are very week now. I came here seeking a full set and gel color. I showed the technician a picture of the nails I wanted, and he didn't get anywhere close to the shape. The shape was so square and unflattering and the acrylic was entirely too thick. I paid without a complaint, but I will not be back. My nails look so bad I'm actually getting them redone somewhere else. read more

Very good customer service! Relaxing setting and beautiful set up. They also provide SNS nails which many salons haven't picked up on yet! It's a great alternative to the harsh acrylic nail. Still a great nail salon for my experiences. I always get sns gel nails manicure ($25) and a pedicure (ranging from $24-45 depending what kind of pedicure you get. I recommend the green tea one). Lovely Nails Spa has very friendly staff who accommodate to your every need. The owner ( I presume the lady that will always greet you) is very very nice! I love her attitude for the business. They are also non up fronting you when it comes to what you want (usually when you go to nail salons, they try to get you to try this out or something new even if you dont want to, i hate that so much). Massage chairs are awesome and they are very sanitary! The pedicure baths have plastic around them which is awesome! This location is next to the Forum Club & Mellow Mushroom on Peachtree Parkway (141). Which by the way, students get 10% off and they have a rewards punch card ($5 off). Never disappointed! It is not easy to find a nail salon that can cater to your style needs while staying at a reasonable price. This is expecially hard in the Johns Creek area. I have have always had a great experience here and I'm always surprised when I go to pay, how low the price is. I normally get a acrylic fill which cost $18. They are always very open to my design suggestions and the nail techs know how to make a beautiful coffin shape nail. read more

I went to Lovely Salon on a whim as I was driving as it was really close to home. It was a lovely experience at Lovely! The owner was nice and offered drinks. Came in for the first time today and was very happy! I did go in at around 2 so it was very calm and Jenny was amazing. She really took her time with my pedi, and being that it's been a while since I had one, she made sure I was comfortable and my feet were super super soft after! They also have a stamp card system which is nice and you get 5 dollars off when you fill if up! read more

This is the best pedicure I have ever gotten. The foot massage is out of tjis world, I feel like a ton of stress has been lifted off my shoulders. I would give this place zero stars if I could. Let me start off by saying that I don't normally write reviews but I joined Yelp today just so I could write a review on this place. I have a nail salon that I go to regularly, but it is kind of pricey (though not as pricey as this place ended up being) and I read great reviews here on Yelp about Lovely Nails, so I decided to give it a try. I am going to a beach wedding this weekend and wanted some fun nail art. I went in for a gel manicure and pedicure. First off, compared to my regular salon, the selection of gel polishes is quite limited. I almost left after just looking that their selection, but against my better judgment I decided to stay. I had to wait 20 minutes for someone to get started on my services. Granted, I did not have an appointment. However, it was 2:30 on a Wednesday afternoon and there were only two other customers in the place at the time. They seated me in the pedicure chair with no indication as to how long I would have to wait. The water was scalding hot. They adjusted the temperature but this just added to the overall negative vibe I was already getting from this place. The manicure: the color I selected was one that they recommended which ended up being really blah, definitely not a beachy color. I originally asked for glitter nail polish on my accent nail but the lady doing my manicure convinced me that putting actual rhinestones all over the accent nail would look very nice. Unfortunately I believed her. The rhinestones looked as though they would pop off if you even touched them. I asked if they would come off easily and she assured me that they would stay put. The pedicure: I already had gel on my toes. The girl started removing it with a drill. I told her I did not want her to drill my toenails because the place that I normally go to soaks them off. She acted like she hadn't drilled my actual nail, only the gel. This wasn't true because I saw her drilling my nails. After I complained, she soaked the remainder off. I told her that I wanted my hands and feet to match. Somehow the color on my toes ended up about two shades lighter than my hands (couldn't tell until I got outside in the sunlight) even though she supposedly used the same color as the girl who did my manicure. I felt like she rushed through my entire pedicure; there was barely any massage at all and she kept looking at another customer that had just walked in. I'm sorry, but I paid entirely too much for this pedicure to have the polish not match my hands and to be rushed on top of it!! I get up to the register to pay. They upcharged $10 on my fingers alone for nail art (which I am now convinced is the reason the girl wanted to do rhinestones instead of the glitter polish that I originally requested). Tip and all was $96 and I didn't even leave my standard 20% tip because the service was terrible. Before the end of the day, two rhinestones from the accent finger on my left hand had popped off, and today (just one day after my manicure) all of the gel on the accent finger on my right hand is lifting. So much for those $10 rhinestones staying put! I am livid and I know there is no way I could ever get my money back. On top of it all I'm also not crazy about the look of the rhinestones and probably would have preferred the glitter nail polish which would have been free. I will be going back to my regular nail salon tomorrow (Tips and Toes in Johns Creek) and pay to have my nails redone. First and last time I will ever visit Lovely Nails Spa! read more

I used to get the gel nail polish in Connecticut , until I read about SNS and how better it is for your nail and last longer . I get my SNS nails done by Jimmy . He does a great job . He is very detailed, I love how my nails look and it last over 3 weeks with out chipping. Its powder that is brushed on to the nail . No odor or liquids. I also get my pedicures there too. I love how clean the salon is kept . read more
