Excellent pandemic protocols. I travel for work, so I like to support small, local businesses when I have the opportunity and always look for places that are doing it right. My facial was specific to my needs with my esthetician, Kristin, asking my goals for skincare, products I currently used, and if I had any sensitivities to specific aromas or scents. She used a pumpkin enzyme during cleansing that was wonderful, I wish they had it for sale. She was thorough and gave my neck, collarbones, and décolleté the same care my face received. The hand massage was a wonderful touch. I felt relaxed and refreshed after my one hour treatment. I picked up a couple of products that I will continue to use in earnest after my visit. The Water Eye Gels are my new favorite thing. I will absolutely make this my spa of choice when visiting this area again. read more

Um... Amazing! I got a facial from Nikkita today. She is.the.best. The shop is doing a great job of maintaining social distancing. I got my temp taken at the door (wearing my mask, of course) and then they asked me to use the hand sanitizer - yes please! This was the most relaxing facial ever. And I got a hand and foot massage. They have my business for life. I want to add that as I was relaxing and enjoying myself, I couldn't help but remember the risks Nikkita was taking in even seeing customers. I've been to this spa multiple times and each time has been a positive, relaxing experience. Most recently, I went for a massage for some stress relief during these crazy times. Besides their usual high quality customer service and care, they are taking all necessary precautions during the pandemic to make sure that those who choose to come will be safe and the spaces are clean. I am thankful for any business that allows me to book online appointments and avoid speaking to a human. My experience with Spa Sweet was relaxing. In my search for an esthetician in the Twin Cities, I was drawn here because of the products they use as Professor Goggle informed me that Rhonda Allison products are great for ethnic skin. I wish this salon offered microdermabrasion services, as I realized that is the experience I was missing. They have a form of extraction that they perform called the Dermafile. It includes some micro medical diamonds, but it didn't give me the clean feeling that I longed for. I received he Spa Sweet Signature Facial. This is definitely the typical facial you would experience at a spa; more pampering than extracting. The prices are reasonable for the services offered and the staff were all friendly and welcoming. As part of the facial, you receive shoulder and hand massages and a customized plan of the products recommended by the esthetician. Located in the Regina/Nokomis community, I didn't find street parking to be an issue. Also, check in on yelp to receive 10% discount. In addition, you receive a 10% discount for booking your next appointment in advance. And 10% discount when you return a sample container and purchase the product. read more

Really enjoyed my service! My favorite part of the service was the overall mood and set up of the room. The bed had a heating pad on it and was nice and toasty but also not too hot! The lights were turned down and the music was very calming. The only thing I wasn't a huge fan of was the massage. It felt rushed and felt like there wasn't a lot of effort behind it. I love Spa Sweet. I've been going there for many years, mainly for massages. Erin D is an excellent massage therapist. She listens to your needs and gives a wonderfully relaxing massage. The spa is beautiful and spotlessly clean! The massage tables are warmed and very comfortable. Such an enjoyable place. It's located right at the intersection for 48th and Chicago in S Mpls. The place was very cute and welcoming. Received a 30 min massage from Samantha, she did a great job focusing on areas of needs for me. I have a lot of back, neck, shoulder, and jaw tension and she focused on them. She also made sure the pressure and heat was ok with me. Only go to Sonja for the facial. She is sweet and relaxing and gentle. The other person I saw there could not modulate her pressure. Even after she acknowledged my asking her to ease up she just kept digging into my skull. During the arm massage she asked if the pressure was ok, I said it was, then she dug her fingers into me way harder. All her motions were very rough and she scrubbed so hard when wiping off with the towel. I left feeling very stressed. In addition to my usual breakout areas the person also "extracted" completely problem free areas of mine so now I have red marks in my cheeks and forehead that were clear before. :( read more

I've been going to Sonja for years and she really does have magic hands. I have problem skin and at the end of the facial my skin is glowing and feels clean and calm. The overall spa experience is very relaxing, the treatment room is quiet and cozy. She also tints and waxes my brows to perfection; I can never get them as perfect plucking on my own!
