I had made an appointment to get my Ridgeline recall completed today at 7 am. In the past I have had good experiences in the Service Department. The gentleman, who never introduced himself, took my car for the repair and said it will take two hours to complete and he didn't have any technicians on site until 7:30. I get up early to get it done as quickly as possible, get a 7am appointment on line, but Space Coast doesn't even have techs available until 7:30 and a job that they advertise as taking one hour and ten minutes in the recall literature is going to take 2 hours here. NO THANK YOU! Took my truck back and will have this service done somewhere more professional. Stay away from this dealership. I don't know what's going on there, but you can feel the negative attitudes of the people who work there. read more

Worst experience dealing with sales and management team. 5 days of back and forth and they had no intent to sell a car.

I was visiting the area when my alternator went out on I95. I called space coast Honda and Nicole was so compassionate and helped me get set up with an appointment. I had AAA tow my van to service. Mike was a fantastic advisor who helped me get back on the road same day by having the alternator replaced along with the spool valve that caused the alternator to go out. Space Coast Honda even thoroughly washed my Odyssey, which was amazing considering all of the love bugs on the road at the time. I noticed oil leaking when I arrived home (3hours away) and Mike was great and assured me they would help out if it was something they missed, but the oil was from the drain valve, which my local dealer replaced at no charge. read more

This Honda dealership is ridiculous and the only reason they're still in business is because people need to keep their warranty valid. Drive up to the service lane and literally 6 service reps ignore me and keep their heads down at their computers even though I'm the only car there. Guy acknowledges me by saying, "pull up so you can open your door." Umm I'm fine guy, I've been opening doors for 40yrs I'll manage. They're the only Honda dealership within 30 miles and both are owned by the same owner. Active construction in the dealership while I wait?!? Why sure thanks for that. Vending machines in the service lane where I can be hit while I purchase my terrible snack?!? Roger that. No coffee?! Waiting area shoe horned into the sales floor?!? We gotcha covered. The fact that management and ownership believe this is acceptable is mind boggling and testament that they don't give a shit about their customers just their money. Now , if the coupon is not "VIN specific" you cannot use it and they do not bother to tell you that until you are ready to pay at check out! My daughters car had a steering issue (did not buy it here) and they got us in the next day to look at it. Mike was my service advisor he was upfront and kept me updated. I bought a Genuine Honda Battery with a 101 Month Warranty. The first 36 months are covered with full replacement. After 36 months, the warranty is prorated. Fair enough. But the new battery's warranty starts at the month number the old battery failed at. That is completely bizarre. So after getting the replacement battery, the new battery failed after 3 weeks. Space Coast Honda wanted another $100 to replace that battery. DO NOT BUY GENUINE HONDA PARTS. They are built to minimal standards. Read the reviews of Genuine Honda Oil Filters. I Bought a preowned 2015 Honda Accord here V6 with 31,000 miles on it. I've had it less than one week and the car wouldn't start two different times I bought it site unseen. Had it delivered to me. They never sent me the tag for the vehicle now they're saying they won't take the vehicle back when the sales person Cassie told me there was nothing wrong with the vehicle. I told them that I was OCD and asked Cassie if there was any dents or dings on it. There's blemishes all over the front of the bumper. One of the wheels is scuffed up in the front end of the car makes noises. I talked to Newton the sales manager and he said he would not take the car back. My wife and I were looking for a car (obviously) and Space Coast Honda was the second dealership we visited. We were greeted by a friendly salesman - Greg Merk - who helped us the entire time we were shopping. We had a particular car in mind, but after looking around decided on something a little roomier - 2017 CRV. Greg was extremely helpful. He answered a lot of questions about everything we looked at and, when he didn't know something he went to ask instead of making up a BS answer or changing the subject. I felt like they gave us a fair price on vehicle and agreed to fix one of the windows where the tint is starting to bubble. My only criticism was with the financing/payment portion of the transaction. We've agreed on a price and then they bring up the additional insurance on the car. I get it, this is "the way it's done" , but I wish they would have talked that with me earlier. The finance guy who finished the transaction, not Greg the salesman, did not have a firm mastery of the options and struggled to answer some of my questions. Also, the electronic signature pad is awkward, but that's really a nit in the grand scheme of things. Bottom line, go see Greg if you're looking for a car. He's a friendly guy who doesn't pressure you and will do his best to give you all the information you need to decide on a car/truck. read more

Worst experience. Started right off the bat where the service advisor Doug Kenney completely ignores me. Once I do get his attention he's rude. Should not be working with customers. All I needed was my push button replaced. Despite having an appointment and getting there early it took 3 days! I called throughout the process and Doug Kenney never picked up or returned any of my calls. I forced the front desk lady to out me in contact with someone else and even she didn't come through. I got a random text to approve the service for the push button. I probably called 12 times over the three days to get status. Was never to contact anyone and the service department desk simply replied "I'm just a planner". Well you're answering and directing phones and I needed to talk to someone. The push button replacement was a laughable $515!!!! For a push button! And it's crooked but I wanted my care out of there. To top it all off they parked my car for the 3 days under some tree and it is covered in sticky sap. Of course they couldn't clean it even thought I paid over half grand for the push button. It's wild to think this is a place of business that stays open. I obviously will not be going back and please do yourself a favor and avoid this dealership at all costs. read more

My CRV was brought in for a water leak. The CRV is still under warranty. They did not contact the company that the warranty is from for authorization for a repair. They checked the CRV out and determined that they could not find a leak. We were charged over $300 for the diagnostics which was not disclosed before hand. We are a Honda family. Never has a Honda Dealership used tactics such as this when there has been a problem. We will transport the CRV back North to our dealership we have used for the past 30 + years rather than take it back to Space Coast Honda. Definitely would not recommend this dealership. read more

Dealerships sure get a bad rap. Honestly, I'm always "puckered-up" when I have to bring a vehicle in to the dealership for service. I've had my Honda Odyssey serviced at Space Coast Honda several time since I purchased it there, and I must admit each time I've had my vehicle serviced by them, I've been very pleased! Most recently, the A/C in my Odyssey started blowing warm air, I immediately thought the worst. I made an online service appointment at Space Coast Honda for the day and time I wanted - pleasantly surprised I could get in so fast. I brought my car into the service area and was greeted by one of the coordinators - very polite and clear. I took my seat in the waiting area and got prepared for the "bad news" as I was sure he was going to tell me I needed a new compressor or something else really costly. About 30 minutes later, he called me up to the desk and told me it was finished. Then he told me the problem was a $39 relay with $80 labor - I was out of there for about $130.00! Super stoked! Expert diagnosis by factory trained technicians is hard to beat. I intended to have my van washed on the way home, but Space Coast Honda vacuumed the interior and washed the exterior - that's another $25 straight into my pocket since I didn't have to pay for a wash now. I've been to Space Coast Honda several times for service ranging from oil changes to new tires and every time my experience has been 100% positive. Based upon my personal experiences, Space Coast Honda is a dealership that stands apart from a "typical" dealership in every way. Give 'em a try. You won't need to pucker-up, either. read more

If you have to service your car anywhere in this area, Space Coast Honda is an argument against buying a Honda. Let's start by stating that Chris was my service advisor. Let me next mention that, even before the debacle described below, I was already displeased with how difficult it was to make contact. So, I decided not to pursue the repair at Space Coast and to have my car towed to another local mechanic. In order to pick up my car, I was told that I could arrive first thing in the morning on a weekday. I did so. When I went to the cashier's window, she did not have an invoice for me. So, she had to call Chris. I waited for a good 20 minutes for her to locate him. Perhaps he wasn't on site yet. If that was the case, why did he tell me that I could pick up the car first thing in the morning? When my invoice was finally ready, I noticed that it was almost $20.00 more than I expected. The cashier told me that that is because there was a 'shop supply' fee of $16.90. It was not on my initial quote for diagnosis and, even if it was, what kind of shop supplies does a diagnosis require? When I inquired about this hidden fee, I was told that it was added to every single service ticket. I explained that no one had told me about this fee. She clearly did not care and simply repeated that it is added to every service ticket. So, what choice did I have? I paid the bill. At which point I expected to be handed my keys. However, the cashier did not have them. She told me (again, this was after paying) that she was waiting for the service advisor to bring them. I waited for a few minutes. (I had now been on site for at least half an hour.) Then I went to find Chris. I couldn't find him. I waited outside his booth. At one point, another service advisor asked me what I needed. He said that he would page Chris. I waited another several minutes. In the meantime, the tow truck driver who had been waiting quite a while, explained that he had to leave and that I would have to place a second call for another truck. How frustrating. Finally, I found Chris. He told --- and I am not kidding here --- that he would be with me in a minute and walked away again. Something in his tone was a little frantic and, standing there confused, it dawned on me that he did not have my key. A few minutes later I saw him come out of another door and head in a different direction. So, I followed. When I approached him at the shop door to confirm this perception, he told at me, "You can't be in here." I wasn't 'in' anywhere, I was at the door. And, quite frankly, I was angry at this point. I asked for my key and then he admitted that he was looking for it. I asked him point blank how he could lose someone's keys. He just yelled back, "You can't be in here," and lumbered off. I came very close to following him into the shop, but I did not. I was fuming! Let me repeat that again, he lost my key. It was eventually found but, at that point, it had been another half hour and I ended up missing hours of work because I had to wait for another tow truck. Just unacceptable. And, on top of that, rude and nasty to boot. I may have a lot of opinions, but it is rare that I come to a conclusion of this magnitude: This unprofessional and incompetent man should be fired. He has no business in the service industry. read more

I took my Honda vehicle in for a recall. I made the appointment online and called the next day to verify that they would be available and had the necessary materials to complete the recall repair or Appropriately evaluated. I discussed over the phone the recall number and the service person I spoke to said he knew what it was. I arrived promptly. I waited two hours after my appointment time and nothing had been done! I with the information that they didn't have the tool to complete the inspection. I was absolutely dumbfounded. The service person Andrew, was extremely remorseful and I couldn't have gotten a better service person than Andrew- but I was just dumbfounded that I drove half an hour to get there waited two hours and then had to drive back and got zero from the experience! They strung me along for days when it came to negotiating a price for the vehicle. Lies upon lies. Wasting my precious time. They did the whole "chase" to the parking lot as I got in my car to leave. Manager claimed it was a "misunderstanding" and tried to gaslight me... blamed everything on his junior salesman. VERY unprofessional. The salesman Rand was also for sure in on the mind games... just as pathetic as his manager. There is absolutely no need for the shady dealings in modern times. They will try to claim that they are the only Honda dealership in the area to bait you into purchasing from them. LAUGHABLE, but also insulting to anyone who can use google. I financed my vehicle with them to get a better deal, and I had it paid off in less than 7 months. No way was I going to let them get interest from me. Went in for an oil change and rear brake job and came out with two leaking tires and shakey front brakes. So sad that i've gone to this dealer for years without any issues, but it only takes one bad experience to lose a long time customer for life. It took 10 minutes before my service tech even came out which never happens, which should have been my first indication things were going to go horribly wrong. As I was having my car worked on, I got the typical call of what other items needed attention. But this time there was a suspicious tone in the tech's voice telling me my front brakes which were fine needed to be replaced and that my car had no oil in it and it was leaking profusely from the valve cover that needed to be replaced......how could it be if there was no oil to begin with??? I had to go out of town so I had it replaced to be safe. I declined other items which were tires and front brakes. Coincidentally i noticed my front tire was low upon picking up my car, which you would think I would have been notified of or they would have put air in it when they completed "the inspection" and the next day I had two flat tires by morning, prior to this they were holding air fine. My rear brakes were replaced and fine, but now the front brakes are making a shaking noise that definitely wasn't there prior to service. Sadly after 20 year of buying and servicing cars here I will not be coming back. When I was asked about my service appointment and told my experience I was told that I must have driven on something to flatten the tires (which could totally be plausible but highly unlikely since I just drove hoen as I always do) and could use one of their coupons to get a good deal on them. My family and I rented a honda odyssey for our trip to florida. On our way back up north the "check engine" light came on and the car began to decelerate on its own while we were on the highway. After being referred to visit the nearest dealership, we gave space coast a call and they were very helpful from start to finish. Nicole helped us out and we were able to get our car checked out and serviced almost immediately. The inside was very nice and clean with coffee provided and plenty of spaces to sit. We were looking to replace our 2007 Odyssey. Having had at least one Honda vehicle since 1996, we were considering another Honda; this time a Pilot. We decided to drive up last Saturday afternoon and see what Space Coast Honda had to offer. When we arrived at the dealership, we were greeted by the salesman and brought to a desk where he proceeded to gather our information and immediately hit us with the classic, "Can I earn your business today?" We informed him that we were not buying that day, but were buying soon, and were there to test drive and see what kind of numbers we were looking at. He gets us into a Pilot and after a very quick test drive, we're back at the desk, where once again, he asks if he can earn our business. We once again say no. He leaves and comes back with a sales manager. For the third time, we have to reiterate that we're there to simply test drive and get numbers. Without so much as even a hint of price and/or payment options, the sales manager proceeds to start trying to push us into a lease because the payment will be lower and suggesting we change our focus and look at a CRV. We decide to leave as we clearly weren't making any progress and he still had not given us any sort of pricing or payment options; but promised to call us with some. No surprisingly, we still haven't heard from him. I am extremely disappointed in how Space Coast Honda treated us. We were going to buy a car, but because we were taking our time and not buying that day, we weren't taken seriously. Had they not assumed we were tire kickers or could not afford the vehicle we were looking at, we might have bought from them. Me and my wife just had the worst experience with Space Coast Honda, there are plenty of other Honda dealers around, go to one of them. 18 months ago we leased a CR-V good vehicle. At that time the sales person Abraham told us we could do a key for key exchange with everything staying the same, no more money. Same payment, and a 3 year lease in 18 months. I actually told him, sounds to good to be true, guess we'll see in 18 months. We go 18 months later after they sent an email from a Darnell Johnson, he was not there, after sitting and waiting for 20 minutes a sales person tried to help. Told him we were there for the key for key exchange. As you probably figured out, it was BS, they wanted another $1500 down. I told them no, I knew you lied, he said, I didn't lie to you. I said, do you work for this store? He said yes. I responded, if you work for this store you lied to me as you are the store. So the manager comes over ( I would tell you his name, but he refused to give me his name or card, but he was working Tuesday September 15, 2020 at 1:00 pm) I proceeded to tell him the same thing. Once again we said NO. As we were leaving, he makes a very disrespectful comment, "guess you never made a mistake in your life". ( don't really know what that has to do with the store ie him lying to us, but so be it) I asked for his name and refused to give me his name or business card. I said I wanted to talk to the manager, he said, I am the manager. I said, I would like to talk to your boss. He said leave, I said after I talk to your boss. He said I'm calling the police. What BS, as I got up to leave, a real responsible manger would have said, I'm sorry the store lied to you and your wife, that sales person no longer works here and we hope that does not affect us doing business in the future.
