Used to be honest and reliable, now it just seems like they try to add on unnecessary fixes to up the costs and misdiagnose problems because they don't want to do the hard labor. Charged me 1k in repairs that did not fix the problem and also told me I needed new wipers when they had just been replaced a week before. Ended up taking the car to Classic Automotive Repairs in Melbourne. They were able to diagnose and fix the problem that I originally had, and charged me half the price Honda would have. read more

Me and my dad went to cocoa Honda to buy a car with a 7000 dollar check. I got a car that had the last owners belongings in it. When I went to drive it away the door panel falls off in front of the car salesman he said he will make an appointment for me to get that fixed I said no problem I go home to find out there's no brakes on the car. The car overheated I had to get it towed to handa they finally did the Inspection on it. After they told me they did it already I knew they didn't when I found the last owner stuff in the car. When I went to get the door panel and breaks fixed I was once again on the side of the road. I called my sale sales guy and ask him if I could get a refund or put me in a different car he said he said he will let me know when something comes on the light that I can get into with my $7000 check that I already paid them but till then I have to keep this car that keeps breaking down. I would have never been going to Honda for these many years if I would have known this is how they treat their custom. I would not recommend anybody to go to Coco Honda lately. They sold us a cockroach infested car. Told us they were aware of the issue, "bombed" the car, and it was resolved. It took us the car ride home until we saw our first one. The next day the ones we saw multiplied. Two days later it was even worse. A car intended for a family with children is useless if it has a cockroach infestation. I've had mixed experiences with the service department at Space Coast Honda. In recent years the experience was unfavorable enough to discourage me from ever returning. The problem is they seem to have frequent staff turnover and the good staff tend to quit or are transferred elsewhere. Although this seems to be a trend with many of dealerships, Space Coast Honda is the worst I've experienced. The Space Coast Honda service department has an unfavorable reputation in this area. It is known for rude and unprofessional behavior on the part of the staff, slow service (expect 6+ hours for an oil change), and incompetence. I have to give it two stars because there was a period of time that I did get good service at Space Coast Honda. First time writing an online review. I was lied to about the condition of the car. Before test driving the car, I asked the associate if the car had been accident and they said no. During the negotiations, i was then informed that it had been. They said there was "technically structural damage but not really." I was informed it was damage to the rocker panel which they described as the plastic part at the front of the car (the shield). It turns out the rocker panel runs along the side of the car and connects the front to the back. I should have researched it then but I took their word for it. They said that was the only damage to the car and that their mechanic said it was fixed. A few weeks after purchasing the car, i began having problems and read the carfax, which stated there was structural damage to the front, front right, and roof of the car. That's much different than only the shield being damaged, which they claimed was the case. I had some other issues as well. There were three burnholes which were not disclosed to me (my fault for not seeing them). The car hadn't actually been inspected before I purchased it and a headlight was out, there was no windshield washer fluid, it needed an oil change and the tire indicator light was on. They fixed all of that and put on two new tires but that should have been done before the car was sold. They also had to remove my plates from my old car but forgot to take the front one off. My salesperson told me on three different occasions that he would talk to his manager on how to handle this and get back to me. I also talked to a manager about it and he said the same but never did. It wasn't until the fifth time that I called about this that I got someone who could help me out and he resolved the issue in a couple minutes. It just seemed that they didn't care once the car was sold. I made a lot of mistakes as a buyer but the dealership was dishonest. The salesman wasn't knowledgeable of the car and didn't seem to care about helping me once the car was sold. I did have a good experience with Chad, a manager there who was not involved in the purchase. He was apologetic and made sure I had everything fixed. That doesn't completely make up for the experience i had purchasing it. I'm not sure if I was unlucky or if it's representative of the dealership. I went to the dealership because of the solid reviews and I wanted to leave a review so the same thing doesn't happen to someone else. read more

Havent been happy at all. Bought a used car, had a belt issue and shaking. They told me dont worry about it. They said they would fix it. My wife brought the vechile in and after 4 hours they said it was all fixed. Week later same problems and found out the parts they replaced were never replaced. My wife brought it back a second time and repairman told her that she bought a used car, lol. What a joke. I was told the car had their best inspection before we purchased it. Just sad to think such simple things couldn't be fixed or atleast told the issue. I wish they treat their customers with more care. It's just another used car dealership in my opinion. My advice is take it to a reputable mechanic after you buy it within 3 days and if to many issue take it back. They give you 3 days to bring back vechile. On the evening of 8/13/18 I dropped my car off for a repair. The wind had pulled my door out of my hand and caused it to overextend. It started making a loud grinding noise just after opening it. I was contacted the next AM by Andrew in service and told that it was the door check and it needed to be replaced. That part was ordered from GA.   On 8/15 the part arrived and was installed. I was pleasantly surprised when a suspected $400-500 bill became $220+/-. It was about $17 for the part and $170 for installation. Just before noon I was told my car was ready. My wife drove me from work in Palm Bay to the service center. I picked my car up, paid, walked out and the door was not fixed at all. Within about 2 minutes u found 2 clues the issue was not resolved, I have no mechanical experience. I went back in and they pulled the car into the shop. I waited about 45 minutes to be told they would need the car longer. To add insult to injury the front crash warning and the lane departure systems were coming up on the dashboard showing they were failing. This was not the case when I turned the car over to Honda. My wife drove back from home to pick me up. We missed a pre-scheduled engagement because if this.   Today I get a call at around 11:30AM and no voicemail. I called back and got the voicemail of my tech. I tried two other times all the way up until 2:45 PM and kept getting voicemails. I was finally told "you may just need to wait for him to call you back". Just before 3PM I finally got a call back telling me the system failures where because the camera was overheated being left in the sun. My car is garage kept in the evening but outside all day at work and the 3 years of living in FL it has never given me that error. Seems odd, but I'll accept it. I was told the damage to the door "seems to be from the inside where the door check is attached and they would be unable to fix the issue".   This is why I am livid. After 3 days with my car it has become extremely apparent that the issue was diagnosed without actually doing the proper inspection AND THEN the mechanic left it unresolved. Did they hope I would just not notice?   So now, 3 days later and $220+/- out of pocket. I have a new door check but have absolutely zero resolution on the issue I came into the service center for. I strongly question whether the work was necessary. I believe they anticipated hat being the issue and when they were wrong hoped to see the issue disappear.  I return today at about 4 o'clock to pick up my vehicle. When I got in and I notice that the seat position did not adjust to where it should be and I try to adjust it manually and the 2 buttons would not light up nor would it let me reset the seat position.  I walked back in, let the technician know and low and behold it was never plugged back in... I've now spent nearly 2 hours waiting around for my car that was supposed to be ready and have missed the opportunity to make it to the body shop in which I should have been sent in the 1st place. This has been the biggest waste of time, energy, money and missed work that I can remember.   I bought this car in 2015 and as you can see, nearly all of the service and maintenance has been done at SC Honda. I have always had success with the office. However this experience was horrendous.  It's clear the mechanic who work in my vehicle is either inept, untrained, under skilled, has horrendous attention to detail or is just flat out lazy.  I can see how the seat adjustment being left unplugged could have been easily missed but there is no way he missed the door not being fixed and the loud noise and grinding feeling. I'm now being told by your preferred dealer that the door shell needs to be replaced. This means all the labor I paid your company to do was for nothing and now I will be paying the body shop to undo and redo it. I will definitely be disputing the charge with my credit card company.   As of right now, I will not be returning to this business for further service. I intended to replace my Accord with a newer model in the next few months. I do not believe it will be with this business now! SC Honda's service has wasted 3 days of my time, $220+/- of my money, and about 3 hours driving back and forth from Palm Bay (work)to Cocoa (SC Honda) to Rockledge (home) and back for both my wife and I.   This has unfortunately left a very sour taste in my mouth about Space Coast Honda. BUYER BEWARE!!!! If zero stars were an option... Three weeks after I bought my car in May of 2018 the front passenger tire developed a bubble in the side wall. A perfect silver dollar sized bubble with no scrapes or other deformity. They refused to honor my platinum service packet by claiming it was obviously caused by a road hazard and charged me $164 to replace a three week old tire. I decided everyone deserves a second chance (so shame on me). Yesterday I called and confirmed that my platinum service package covered oil changes and tire rotation. The woman on the phone put me on hold and confirmed that oil changes were covered by my plan. I made an appointment for today with Fernando. When I arrived to pick up my car my paper work and key were placed before me and I was informed that it would be $41 and change. I informed the cashier that she was mistaken. I explained that I had called to confirm that oil changes were included in the package I purchased when I bought my car before booking my appointment, she pulled my key out of reach and then she called Fernando up to the front and some time later he arrived. I explained to him that I had been assured that my oil changes were covered and that if they were not free I would have had no reason to bring my car in because I had been changing the oil in my cars since I was 15. He wandered off with no real direction or comment. Sometime later he wandered out from the sales, eating a baby carrot, and then wandered back into the service area. More time passes and he returns and a gentleman that appears to be a manager but never actual speaks to me, so I can not confirm, enters the cashier cage and hovers behind the cashier. Fernando informs me that my service plan only covers parts not maintenance. I asked him if the woman I booked my appointment lied to me. He shrugged. I was obviously angry but I did not berate either Fernando or the hapless cashier as it is not their fault that the management of this faculty encourages misdirection, misinformation and outright lies. I paid the $41 and change to retrieve my key. The gentleman behind the cashier never once looked me in the eye or attempt to rectify the situation. I will never return. I suggest you do not purchase a vehicle here and if you have do not attempt to use the service department. Read the YELP reviews. This place is filled with liars and thieves. Wanted to test drive a vehicle, and got the, "we need a copy of your driver license first. Husband gave it to them, I stayed outside waiting, and waiting and waiting. I went in and the salesman was one the computer, filing out paper and asking my husband questions. One of them being, "What are your goals and aspirations in buying a car." I said (irritated), "do not pull our credit, I do not give you permission to pull our credit." He said, "Oh No, we don't do that, I would need your social security number, trust me, we don't do that." I.said, "I don't trust anyone who says trust me." Then walked away. Went back outside, waiting and waiting. Came back in meet husband at door, he said he didn't know where the salesman went. Next thing I know, the Sales Manager, came up to us and said is there a problem? We, both said, "no, we just wanted to test drive a car." Next thing I know he tore into me about the dealerships policy on test drives. I said, "We are not here to fill out paper work and answer questions, like the stupid question, "What are your goals and aspirations." He became more enraged with me and said, "This is our policy and how we do things, don't you fill out paper work at a doctors office." I said, (as walking away) "that's completely different." The salesman didn't like my attitude and knowledge of their sales tactics so he went to the General Sales manager to complain. The reason they want a copy of your driver license is to see if you have a current car loan with them so they can check your credit and or to do a soft credit inquiry. The General Sales Manger was completely unprofessional and rude!! We will NEVER deal with this dealership for car sales! He was also very informative and knowledgeable regarding the new changes to the honda inventory that was available. I just moved here from Pennsylvania two years ago and was going to drive back to exchange my trade-in honda but meeting and working with someone that understood my needs and wants making my decision to move forward and work with Space Coast Honda. The service is terrible. Slow, and no one seems to really care. Made an appointment to have an oil change on my vehicle and waited almost 2 hours. Even with an appointment. Spoke to someone three times in Service. They told me that an oil change takes an hour every time even with an appointment. When I spoke to them the third time I was then told they ran out of oil I was also told the car was being washed, which was not true. The car was not washed. I would not recommend Space Coast Honda for any service needs. read more

We had 100% decided on the Odyssey, but principle alone prohibits us from doing business with Space Coast Honda...and as a result we are soured on Honda completely and are onto plan B...a different car manufacturer. I purchased my vehicle from this dealership and since that time I have had many unpleasant experiences with their shady service department. The service department management is the least professional I have ever encountered at any automobile dealership in my entire life. You must pay very close attention to the condition of your vehicle before and after service to make sure the work you are paying for has actually been performed and that the parts you paid for were actually installed. BEST CAR BUYING EXPERIENCE EVER! My husband and I were in and out within 3 hours. We came in with the intention to turn in our lease, after discussing our options we left the dealership with our very first SUV. One we could call our own and needless to say, we are very happy with our purchase. They were attentive to our requests and were very accommodating. From the moment we walked in, to the moment we drove off in our new vehicle we were attended to and treated like family. This review is coming about a year late, but after having a bad experience at a different dealership, I realized how great my experience at Space Coast Honda was last year. In April 2015 I bought a low mileage used Civic from these guys. It's a bit of a drive from me, but the listed price online was so fantastic, I couldn't pass it up! They didn't tack on a bunch of extras to the sale either, which was greatly appreciated. Steve was my sales person and he was so nice and genuine, no shady games here. They were also fair with my trade value. No, they didn't pay blue-book value, not even the wholesale KBB value, but they weren't too far off. I believe the price was a little low, but that's unfortunately to be expected when trading a car. However, it was not such a low offer that it was concerning and it was close to what I expected they would offer, so I took it. These guys were extremely quick too - no games with the paperwork. They had me in and out in just over an hour. They did offer a service plan as most dealerships do, but weren't pushy when I said I was not interested. I just got my wife's new lease at Coggin Honda Orlando and had a bad experience that is still dragging on. In the future, we'll be coming to Space Coast Honda, which is an hour from us, because the experience was that much better than what we're going through now. read more

I give reviews for great experiences, average, bad ones.But I have never experienced a second in command that was so evil, hot headed and RUDE as the one at this place. The absolute rudest person I've ever come across in my life not an exaggeration. I essentially got pushed into buying a car from this place, these people were pushy when I said I wanted to sit on it for a day. They were extremely nice in the process but it's clear now fake. They sent me home with a car with roaches, I was extremely gracious and brought the car in like they asked. Drove an hour and they weren't able to fix anything that day told us to come back the next day, fiancé brought in the car again still no able to fix anything. I talked to one of their admin who never apologized and spent the whole time trying to justify himself & blame us for the situation, and got so angry in the process that he said he'd refused to remove the roaches from my car. During the whole process of buying they use verbiage like "once you buy from us you're part of our Honda family and we got your back" but after you sign those papers, it's a wrap. I'm shocked, never met someone so hurtful, prideful, and rude. If you have 0 emotional intelligence you should not be working in customer service. read more

This dealership is so proud of their "President's Awards." They sure didn't get those awards for their customer service / service after the sale, and it makes me wonder what the criteria is for those awards. Must simply be for sales dollars / profits made. If I could give this business NO STARS for customer satisfaction, I would. The car I bought from this place started having a steering problem. The Service [Manager-?] said there is a charge of $100 just to put it on a lift and just LOOK at it. even if they didn't do any repairs to the car, which I think is ridiculous. Their excuse for the $100 charge was, "Our guys want to get paid." Well, like all other car dealerships, I am sure they pay their mechanics BY THE HOUR, not by the JOB. I should have called them on what I knew was a really lame excuse / "fib" / "not the real truth." ( And I'm being nice here, because we aren't allowed profanity in a review. ) So, I talked to the Sales Manager. He wouldn't budge on this policy. He didn't even ask me what the car was doing, was extremely unhelpful, and wasn't the LEAST bit interested in helping me...not at all. He used the same "our guys want to get paid" line. He actually used the exact same words as the guy in the Service Dept. Must be what they have been told to give customers as the "standard answer." He was very unhelpful, and acted like he JUST DIDN'T CARE at all. The logo on their license plate covers not should be "Customer For Life," but instead, "After The Sale, We Blow You Off." As I left, I told them, "I will NEVER buy another car from this dealership." It's too bad there wasn't any other customers in the show room to hear that. (Maybe no customers because of the way they treat them ?) Next time I buy another Honda, I will DEFINATELY take my business to Southeast Honda in Melbourne. I have never been treated with an uncaring attitude there. So keep this in mind, if you are thinking of buying a car from Spacecoast Honda. Our new Honda Pilot developed some gremlins in the infotainment system while we were in Cocoa Beach on vacation. The GPS wouldn't work and there was an annoying crackling noise. Andy in service was wonderful! He diagnosed the problem and ordered the part. I came to space coast Honda upset about being ripped off by a local company near my home. Not only was I out of my money but I also had more repairs to be done to my vehicle. When I called in everyone was super friendly and helpful they got my car in right away and fixed it within two days. Even less time than they originally quoted. Not only were they super helpful and accommodating they also stayed late so that I could pick my car up on a Friday night. They now have a new customer!
