The atmosphere is cozy, bustling, and unmistakably authentic. It's definitely busy and a little tight on space, but in a way that adds to the experience rather than takes away from it. The dining room glows with candlelight, bottles of wine line the walls, and every detail feels thoughtfully Italian without feeling forced. Even the bread service was memorable. Served in a repurposed tomato can wrapped with a red cloth alongside excellent olive oil, it was simple, charming, and set the tone for the meal perfectly. We started with the mushroom soup, mussels, and beef carpaccio. The mussels were fresh and flavorful, served with beautifully toasted bread that was perfect for soaking up every last drop of broth. The mushroom soup was rich, comforting, and packed with earthy flavor. The real standout, however, was the beef carpaccio. Looking at the plate, I thought it was beautiful, but I wasn't prepared for how incredible it would taste. The beef was exceptionally fresh and melt-in-your-mouth tender.
