My wife and I made our own couples package, each with 75 minute deep tissue massages and facials in adjoined rooms. This was a pre-Christmas de-stress gift to each other at the 9th&9th location. Megan M. was our massage therapist and she was WONDERFUL! Megan was able to work out more stress in our time allotment than most 90 minutes and even 120 minute treatment I've had. Wife said best massage she's ever had. We highly recommend her! Facials were great too - I did the mini, she did the full. I hope SpaDay adds a pre/post treatment meditation room with teas - that is literally the only thing that could have made our experience any better. 5 stars! Highly recommend going to SpaDAY in Salt Lake City. The salon setting felt very professional, clean, inviting and calm. The Spa has a cute waiting area filled with magazines and plants to make you feel more comfortable while waiting for your appointment to start. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. I had a master esthetician (Kassi Harris), who was very knowledgeable, skilled, and kept a respectful professional attitude and appearance as well as providing me with great customer service;I was pleased with the end results of the service from her. Love the team I call my "skin fam" and will even trust them with my teenage daughter's skin! They are wonderful. I find having two locations helps with appointment setting, I can always get it in and get my facial, lash dye and brow tint or a mani/pedi done, so I can get on with my day. The price spaDAY is charging for services is just insane. The location is terrible, the owner was very rude, and their service locations were disgusting. So much dust. Who knows when the last time it was cleaned. Very embarrassing, not sure how they even have business still. I guess people don't really know how a spa SHOULD look and feel. I stopped by SpaDay on a whim. I had a couple hours to kill after visiting Temple Square, before my flight back home after a conference. I was able to walk in and make an appointment for later in the day. When I arrived for my appointment, I was promptly let by my masseuse, Maude, and led back to the treatment room. The rooms are clean and relaxing. I told Maude that I wanted her to spend all 60 minutes working on my back, neck, and scalp. She did a FANTASTIC job. I'm usually a light/medium pressure person, but Maude's touch was so great I asked her to give a deeper massage and she delivered. She found knots and worked magic on them. I left for the airport happy and relaxed. My relaxation quickly vanished when I realized I had accidentally left my grandmother's antique black diamond jewelry set - one of my only family heirlooms - in my treatment room AFTER I had passed security at the airport. Maude texted, letting me know she had found it. Panicked and knowing that I couldn't get back to the spa, back through security, and make my flight I texted back, pleading for them to mail me my jewelry, offering to cover costs and compensate them for their time and troubles. Y'all, the customer service... I was FLOORED. She quickly told me not to worry and let me know they would send it via FedEx on Monday, sending me a tracking number. Sure enough, on Monday they texted me cheerfully, providing me the tracking number AND peace of mind. When I asked how I could arrange payment, they breezily told me not to worry about it and wished me a happy day. Excellent massage and customer service that went above and beyond! This little gem tucked away just off Main Street is an urban oasis for those in need of a retreat. Booked a pedicure with Paulina and was pleasantly surprised to find that one option was to recieve it in a very fancy massage chair ... Prices are slightly higher than you will find in the suburbs, but for an out of town guest working at the Salt Palace Convention Center, proximity to downtown was key. Pauliina was SPECTACULAR. This was my first-ever facial and I hit the jackpot; I felt so taken care of and spoiled that I don't think I could ever go anywhere else. She was extremely gentle and careful with my skin, and explained every step she was taking. She even asked my permission before performing certain procedures and helped me to feel calm and relaxed. She took the time to learn about my skincare routine and kindly encouraged specific changes, but never once pressured me into buying any specific products. A spa experience is all about the service. Not the products, not the location, not the decor. The owner, Pauliina, delivers excellence. I came here as a walk-in for a massage, and wasn't surprised when I was told that they were booked. I decided to get my brows (expertly) done. I usually get mine threaded to maintain some bulk and my preferred shape, but P was able to get it done without making it look overdone. I sat in an awesome massage chair during the process, which felt so apparently good that P let me sit in there for another 15 minutes in lieu of a massage. Seriously though, this chair does everything from fingers to toes. They are actually located inside and on the second floor of a really cool store with sleek decor (wood, spare use of mirrors, blacks and blues) but with gear that you might find in Anthropologie. Not only is it gorgeous on the inside but it's unlike any other spa in the creativity and ingenuity from the body treatments to the facials to the pedicures. I got a 90 minute massage from Spaday today and I have to say it was one of the very best I have had. I was able to relax and she was able to work on many of my sore muscles. Pauliina does the best brow waxes around, I'm obsessed with the micro current machine, which gives me an instant lift and the massage chair is a must. I was in Salt Lake for a conference-- which also happened to fall around my birthday. After some yelping I gifted myself a spa treat at spaDAY. I got a signature facial with Pauliina... and now I think I'm addicted. The place: spaDAY was really lovely, modern and pristine. Mostly white and monochromatic. I had a choice of two rooms-- one with a lounger/massage chair and one without. I chose the one without so that I could lay comfortably during the facial. The service: I should note that this was my first facial and I think that she ruined me for all other aestheticians. Walking out of there I can honestly say that my skin has never looked or felt better. I have pretty noticeable pores and I could not see one pore-- not one! She used Dermalogica products on my skin, which was great-- and I got a lot of samples to go home with so that I could get a sense of how to take care of my skin at home. The price of the spaDAY facial also includes brow shaping (looking at other spa prices, they usually charge extra for this)-- my brows were perfect for a good 3-4 weeks afterwards. Also the face, neck and shoulder massage was great, very relaxing but still with enough pressure to make me feel like I was getting a real massage. Pauliina was also really personable and fun to chat with. I had such an awesome experience there and would definitely go back to spaDAY again. read more

I wish we could give half stars. I debated between a three and a four. The treatment itself was great. I had a hot stone massage and she definitely did an incredible job. The "spa" is the issue. In the middle of the massage a door shut loudly and there was a lot of chatter in the hallway outside. It felt like I was in an office. The waiting area is not very welcoming and there is no bathroom to freshen up. Not even a mirror to be found until you followed the labyrinth to the bathroom.
