Stuffed lobster tails, not on the menu But if you say please......

This hidden gem is one of my favorites, the outside is misleading, awesome service, nice ambiance, delicious food, portions are ginormous!

I am moving into the neighborhood and am looking for local restaurants. The red sangria and garlic shrimp were delicious! The service was impeccable and the restaurant was packed with what seemed to be repeat customers. I will definitely go back and bring more friends with me!

    First time here!

Garlic shrimp, garlic shrimp, garlic shrimp! For years my wife has told me how good the garlic shrimp is at Spain Rincon, and last night I got to see for myself. It was outstanding! The spice and the sauce was so good, especially for bread dipping when the shrimp was gone. As far as everything else with the restaurant, not too impressive. I was warned that from the outside the place looked like a dive, and the inside wasn't much better. That didn't bother me. What did bother me was that we felt rushed through the entire meal. This on a night when there were only a couple of other tables with customers. Besides the shrimp, the rest of the food was good, although not as impressive. Your meal comes with complimentary soup which was nice. Last night it was chicken noodle. For entrées, I had the stuffed scallop special and my wife had chicken francese. Plates of rice and potato chips are served on the table. We also had a small pitcher of sangria which was pretty weak. My recommendation is to stop here for takeout shrimp and go home and enjoy it with a nice bottle of wine!

Passed this place many times and finally stopped in for dinner. Everything was wonderful. Service, beyond reproach. Would recommend.

Ate here on a recent Saturday night with another couple. It was a stormy night and it wasn't that busy in the restaurant. Service was prompt. Ordered a pitcher of sangria. My wife and sister in law said it was good. Ordered Portuguese sausage and garlic shrimp for appetizers. Both were very tasty but both could have been hotter. Appetizers should be piping hot when served. They also give you complimentary lentil soup which was very good as well, but again the temperature of the soup was not hot. They have bread on the table. I ordered filet mignon tips with garlic shrimp. The meat was tender but I don't know what method they use to cook the meat but I don't think it's a professional broiler. See pics. Steak should be charred on the outside. I ordered mine medium rare. The meat was actually like cubes, instead of sliced steak tips. My brother and sister and law ordered the same thing and both said the same thing, the meat wasn't cooked right. My wife ordered filet mignon tips in a mushroom sauce, well done and hers actually looked good. With all that said, I would come again.

Address says Hamilton, but it's definitely the area that's at least bordering Trenton. Parking…read moresituation, one-way streets, stuff in proximity and the locale being pretty close to the river seems to point to that. Kind of felt the need to put that out there, it's not really a suburban location. That said, echoing some of the others I'm reading snippets of, WOW to everything - the service, the food, the ambiance. It's got charm when you walk in, looks old but not dated. The waitstaff is super friendly, has some jokes, multi-talented (they brought out the guitar a few times to wish some other folks happy birthday), and knowledgeable. The food is really good - everything I tried was just delicious. For the table, we ordered some calamari and empanadas, and both were good. Drinks were also tasty - that sangria was really good, and the mojito (love that they had it available, first of all!) was also a hit. I would double-click on that sangria, though. For my entree, I ordered their whole fish, which was not only delicious but HUGE. I ate about half of it and was full. Then my friend and I split an order of limoncello cake (I think that's what it was), which was on point, and ended w/ espresso, also good. Overall, everything about that place was great, and when I mentioned a Spanish place in Trenton the next morning to some guys I was with, one of them asked, was it Malaga? That was just another great review, for a local guy to know what I was talking about just by description. Bravo, I think some of us may be back sometime!

That lobster was fresh, tender, and actually cooked right, not rubbery like you get in a lot of places. Service was dialed in without being overbearing. Drinks stayed full, timing was on point, and it felt relaxed the whole time. The ambiance has that classic, comfortable vibe where you can actually enjoy the meal instead of feeling rushed. Walked out full and already thinking about coming back. Definitely a spot I'd bring people to when I want to impress without overthinking it.

Shrimp was perfectly cooked and the flavor/texture was robust and unique. The amount was perfect as well. Then for my 2nd course, squid and chourico, which was also so good. Not as good as the shrimp but the portion was pretty good and I was honestly getting full by the end of this. I finished with the duck paella, which was my favorite of the night. It was perfectly crispy while not tasting burnt, with a rich flavor of the duck, sauce, and little peppers combined. Definitely a unique dish - I'm glad I tried it! I sipped on the red sangria and one bottle lasted me the whole meal. It was a good amount and tasted strong and not too sweet! Service was amazing - my server was Amanda. She was super attentive and easy to talk to. My water was always filled and the timing of the food coming out was perfect! The restaurant had a great vibe inside. It was small but not tight. Decor was bright and airy. Seating/tables were clean. Even though their menu changes, it felt like the menu was uniquely curated for an amazing meal!! Would definitely recommend to anyone in the area!

The food is probably the closest you can get to actual Spanish tapas but what i love most about this place is that everythings got flavorrrrr For our table of 4 we got CROQUETAS with their house cured chorizo- very good POLLO FIORENTINA- chicken was so tender and packeddd with flavor! BARRIGUITA- plentiful serving for a tapa, we loved the potatoes it came with too CHICHARRON DE POLLO- flavorful chicken and easier to eat than you think TARTAR- delish but small Chipirones- sooo delicately breaded you can barely tell, was great COSTILLA A LA PLANCHA- plentiful for a tapa, we recommend cooking for longer since its traditionally a tough cut of beef SAUTED VEGETABLES- tastey and not mushy thankfully! MILLIONAIRE CAIPIRINHA for my drink. was soooo good, not too sweet and not quite as sour as a margarita, was perfect for me!

When I was there, they had a DJ playing, and it added energy without being too loud or overwhelming. The Service was very good, the waiter answered and helped with all our questions. The food was absolutely amazing really flavorful and well done. Just be a little prepared that most dishes come in smaller portions. But the quality definitely makes up for it. I ordered the paella, and it's easily enough for two or even three people and it was well worth it. Really delicious. The drinks were also definitely worth trying while you're there. The only thing I wasn't big on was the desserts they didn't quite live up to the rest of the meal. But overall, great atmosphere, excellent food, and a fun experience. I'd definitely come back.
