I absolutely loved the food and drinks. The sangria could have been better and the only downside is they serve everything but soda in a pitcher. Service was great and attentive to a party over 10 people. And if I said it once I'll say it again food is delicious.

Food: My honey and I decided on having lunch at an authentic Spanish restaurant since we haven't had that type of food in a really long time. First off, I have to say that the portions at this restaurant are absolutely humongous! My boyfriend ordered the sirloin steak (Entrecot a la Gallega) and I really was surprised to see such huge piece of beef on his plate. I actually thought that he had received the wrong order. I asked the waiter if that was the correct entree. The menu didn't say how many ounces the steak would be so I just thought that for that price the steak would have been on the smaller side. The waiter told us that it was no mistake. All of those steaks are actually about 2 1/2 pounds, roughly 38 to 40 ounces. Mind you, the entrée was only $44 and it included three sides that were served family style to share with me. I was in disbelief! My entrée was was also a good size considering the price. I had four chicken cutlets in garlic sauce which came with the three sides that I shared with my boyfriend. That entrée was only $27. Can't beat that. My boyfriend's steak was cooked medium rare. I had some and it was really flavorful. My chicken was tasty. For me, the sauce had a little bit of a "kick" to it though my daughter said she didn't notice any spice to it. I guess I'm just very sensitive. I'm like a delicate flower. LOL! We had so much food left over that we were able to feed the kids when we got home and still have leftovers for the next day. My boyfriend and I enjoyed everything we ate there from the appetizers to the desserts! The high point of the meal for me was the Crab Cakes. They were definitely one of the best I've had, and I've had many. Of course I also had a glass of sangria. How can you go to a Spanish restaurant and not have sangria!? It was very good as well. Service: Our waiters and bus people were very attentive to us. The manager even came to our table and chatted with us a bit. Also, when we were seated, a little black rack was placed next to me so that I could hang my pocketbook on it. I had never seen this anywhere. I thought this was really convenient and wish they had this at other places. Ambiance: Typical Spanish music was piped in the restaurant, mostly instrumental. Some of it was in the flamenco style. It fit the theme and decor of the dining room. I enjoyed looking at the murals on the walls because it reminded me of my many trips to Spain as a child and young adult. Ahhh....the good ole days. Final impressions: I definitely will be returning back to this location in the future. My mom has been asking me to take her to eat paella and I think that this will be the perfect spot to bring her!

Excellent service and quality of food. We enjoyed the fried calamari appetizer. It was cooked EXACTLY the way I wanted it - crispy and tasty. The complimentary bread was wonderful too. Everyone enjoyed their meals. My daughter had the 8oz filet, no seasoning and she ate most of it. I had the paella and it could have easily been shared between three people. Entrees came with rice, broccoli and chips to share. Dessert looked good, I didn't have any but all other guests at the table said it was delicious. My decaf cappuccino was incredible. We can't wait to come back for lunch!

Took mom out for a special lunch again and it didn't disappoint! We went at around 11:30 on Saturday and arrived shortly after they opened. We were seated right away and our service was superb throughout. I love that their servers are professionals (older men verse kids) and they work in teams so there's always someone to fill your water, clear plates, etc.. we LOVE their bread & butter. Crust is just crispy enough and bread so fresh and soft. Real good Portuguese bread! My mom had seafood mariscata in red sauce, my spouse had seafood paella and I had scallops and mashed potatoes from specials menu. EVERYTHING was excellent! 2/2 the mariscata and paella came home as leftovers and was just as good re-heated. The paella rice with seafood "juice" / broth is amazing! My scallops were perfectly grilled. Simple yet delicious! Overall we had an excellent lunch although slightly more pricy than our average lunch spot - mom is turning 94 so worth it!!

    USDA Prime Porterhouse!! Amazing!!

The porterhouse steak was the best steak I ever had! Pricey but worth every penny! The Chorizo appetizer is a must try also!

Un cooked garlic chicken, bloody which filled my mouth

Un cookeed food been coming to this place for over 20 years often having business lunches and dinners. I have however notice changes within the pass three months. The food simple not having the taste that it once had and the portions being cut back by a lot. As well as an increase in prices. Today I decided to give it one last try just to make sure. My go to plate is always garlic chicken with rice. I decided to take it home this time and share with the family. As I sat and bite into the first piece of chicken a rush of a liquid covered the interior of my mouth. I subsequently discovered that I just had swilled a large amount of blood. The chicken was not cooked. Completely terrible, I examined the other pieces and found the other pieces not cooked also raw. I ate the rice and threw out the chicken will never return I did reach out to management simple to advise but nothing positive was said other than ok.

We were there this thanksgiving and I was impressed. The service was good. The ambience wasn't like that of a date night but the food was amazing and expensive. For starters We had pulpo a la gallega, in the main course was paella a la valenciana, and langosta Al horno . Everything came with complimentary bread and butter. I just have one thing to say " will visit again".

A large venue with a large lounge, enormous cigar selection, full bar & restaurant. Staff were very helpful & friendly. You have to take your time and look through this place just to appreciate it. They even have ashtrays mounted on the wall between urinals so you truly never have to leave your cigar behind, lol. They have a huge parking lot as they sit on a site all their own. I was surprised to learn that when ordering food (not desserts or drinks) you get a cigar with it. You don't choose it, they do. I got a 'Romeo y Julieta Reserve,' so a quality cigar, not some random nonsense. Not truly sure if that is every time, or just your first time there, which for me it was. I ordered their parm garlic wings & they were very good and well prepared. The space is great & very comfortable. Servers come to you and take your order and bring your food, so you never have to even leave your lounge chair. I found 4 cigars that I hadn't been able to find elsewhere & 2 cigars that I ended up ordering online in the past. Now I know where to find all 6 for future enjoyment. Prices on everything are fair. For 5 cigars, food, non-alcoholic drink, & tip I spent about $110 & got a good complimentary cigar. This place will be highly recommended by me moving forward.

You do get a free cigar (which is actually a pretty nice, brand name stick in most cases) with your meal, which I am sure goes with the cost. Before the world went utterly insane with inflation ... It used to be one of the best deals ever. The food was $12.95 plus the free cigar! Now, it's more like $23 per sandwich. Owch. The best value was the cheese plate, which at $15 was huge and included fruit. Now, that cheese platter is actually smaller than it used to be and costs $44! The decor is pretty cool ... dark and moody ... but there are a couple TVs with sports playing and high ceilings. The air purification makes it smell a lot less like cigar smoke than it used to ... but know that whatever clothes you wear here will likely need a dry cleaning after. The waitresses have been here forever ... and there are a lot of regulars. Imagine what a guy would look like that would want to smoke a cigar while eating and that's exactly what you will find here as a customer. Fake Sopramos accent ... beefy ... loud ... gold chain ... It's a 'bro crowd' for sure with some flashy investment banker types mixed in. Lots of Hummers and G-Wagons in the parking lot. I would recommend this place to anyone who loves cigars. The food is edible and in some cases even good. But nothing amazing. I've had the corned beef sandwich ... don't expect NYC deli quality ... the flatbread (Trader Joe's is just as good) ... and the Cuban sandwich. All okay. The Cuban left me hungry. You can also eat at the bar and peruse their extensive whiskey and beer menu. The drinks are pricey, so a sandwich, a beer ... and I guess you could count the free cigar ... come to around $40, after tip.

For apps: Clams oreganato (the couple with us enjoyed this), flat bread (was much more like pizza than flat bread, but still tasty, per my husband), and on the special New England Clam Chowder which was very good, not too thick and decent and fresh clams in it. Entrees: Shrimp Risotto scampi, very flavorful Risotto cooked perfectly. Two of us ordered the Cajun Mahi Mahi, over spinach with mashed, and 2 shrimp. the Cajun sauce was tasty with the perfect amount of heat, shrimp and mahi-mahi fresh and cooked perfectly. Rigatoni Bolognese which my husband enjoyed and said it was almost as good as my Italian mother's (like a good son-in-law) lol Dessert: Crème Brûlée - Brûlée was perfect, the crème was a little too thick for me. When we arrived (around 7pm) there was only one occupied table in the restaurant. The room was cold and drafty, as if they were trying to save money on the heating. We had to change tables twice trying to avoid the chill which was forcing my mother to keep her winter coat on. On our first visit, the breadbasket included some delicious garlic bread. That was gone this time. Previously, the staff immediately set out an ice bucket and glasses when they saw our bottle of white wine. This time we had to ask for both, twice. Throughout the meal, we watched our waiter standing in the doorway to the kitchen engrossed in whatever he was doing with his cell phone. Given that the restaurant was virtually empty, the fact that we couldn't get his attention when we started to have issues was frustrating. I chose the Calamari Chino again as an appetizer. I enjoyed it so much on our first visit that it was the one thing I knew I wanted again. Unfortunately, I ended up sending it back. Although it looked like the same dish at first glance, the crispy and tender calamari I loved the first time was now soggy and rubbery. My mother again went with the Grilled Norwegian Salmon, which she enjoyed. My father had the Paccheri & Shrimp alla Vodka, which is described on the menu as sautéed wild shrimp, over paccheri pasta with a creamy vodka sauce, oyster mushrooms, & green peas. He wasn't a fan of this. It seemed to be missing both the oyster mushrooms, & the green peas. He also described it as being "goopy" and thought it tasted artificially thickened in some way. I ordered the New Coconut Jumbo Shrimp, which is served with grilled asparagus, white rice, in an orange marmalade sauce. I had high hopes for this since coconut shrimp is a favorite of mine. The presentation was quite nice, but the shrimp was overcooked, and the coconut coating was nearly burnt. I believe it had been left in the deep fryer too long. Frankly, if I had not sent back the calamari I would have sent this back as well. The staff is friendly, and the restaurant still looks nice, but it seems like they're just going through the motions now. I don't see us returning.

I came here last night with the Bitch Pack for a 7pm dinner. One of my top-tier chums had been here before a handful of times, but otherwise we were making our debuts. I've been aware of this place for literally years, having driven by it on 202 numerous times, but the closest I ever got to the door was about 16 years ago when I took some used wine crates from the end of Teresa Guidice's driveway nearby. Time flies! The building is seriously cool. I wandered in first and instead of being a grownup and just alerting my chums to my presence, assumed I was late and that they were downstairs in the speakeasy (one of apparently four bars in the restaurant? So yes, a rather large establishment). They weren't, but it was an opportunity to take a gander at that setup, which involves an incredibly unique entrance to gain access (no spoilers here). In this era where people just decide that their bars are speakeasies because one of their employees is dressed like a flapper, it's nice to see one that actually remembers they're supposed to be secrets and hard to get into. The staff I encountered during my needless search/exploration was very nice; I think one of them politely suggested I text my chums, which was of course excellent advice I didn't take. Anyway. As mentioned, the apps were awesome. We split the lobster arancini at my suggestion, and also got some tuna tartar. The arancini is fantastic; incredible taste/texture, and something I'd order again in a heartbeat. And honestly? To me the best tuna tartar keeps it simple - it's tuna, avocado and wontons/chips. That's it. Nice and smooth, just as nature intended. We were also pondering a special that I think involved gnocchi and strawberries, which might have been awesome too, but I was pleased with all of these decisions. The steak was okay, which is obviously not the greatest takeaway for a steakhouse. I liked the flavors a lot; I was a little concerned the pepper would be overwhelming but I was into it, and the steak was slightly undercooked, which is also a plus for me. Ideally I'd order rare everywhere I go but I only do it at places I trust (cough cough Cloverleaf in Caldwell cough cough), so I went with medium rare, which came out pretty close to rare. It might just be personal palate preference, but I thought the marbling was a little too thick on the ribeye, which meant "stringier" bites that took away from the positives of marbling, namely the aforementioned flavor. Morally I tend to hang out in the steak section of a steakhouse menu, but I might wander off the reservation if I'm back again. We got some sides as well to share, which were SUPER uneven. The mashed potatoes were decent and the gouda smoked mac & cheese a definite highlight - the smokiness really gave it some zest. I didn't taste them but the Brussels sprouts looked almost sickly (definitely not crispy) and my chum almost spit them out in her napkin. Avoid at all costs. And unfortunately we sputtered to the finish line. I sampled the pina colada creme brulee, which was technically tasty but very cold (literally the first time I've encountered it at that temp); same with the s'mores cheesecake. It was pretty obvious these weren't made to order and weren't even prepped/heated up for us, which was strange given that both of these desserts by definition require heat for caramelizing and toasting. Big miss there. The service was fine; maybe a little sluggish but we weren't really in a time crunch unless you count the fact that some of us were perilously close to bedtime. A request to move to a nearby table away from an air vent was promptly handled, so points for that. I'd have no objection to sneaking back into the speakeasy for a nip and some apps, but when you don't have much interest in the steak at a steakhouse, it's kind of a problem.

For dessert we each got our own cookie skillet (usually 3 per order but for an extra couple of dollars they'll add another). Everything was on point. The only gripe was to get the food took a while but we were having fun and in no rush. Enjoy!

I finally gave it a try after hearing so much hype since it opened its first location in the area, and I honestly didn't quite get it. Ordered takeout, and everything you see pictured came out to around $100, which set the expectations a bit higher. Unfortunately, most of the food were pretty average.....tavern food that leaned more "heat and serve" than freshly made. A lot of it tasted like it could've been toasted straight from frozen packaging, which was disappointing given the price point. As for dessert, the cookies definitely tasted store bought, which kind of summed up the overall experience. Not terrible, but not memorable either. It's convenient and quick if you're in the area and need something easy, but I probably wouldn't go out of my way to come back.
