Walking in feels like I walked back into the late 1990s, which is not necessarily a bad thing. There's just something about it, from the layout of the store to the staff and the general vibe. Anyways, it was my first time trying mangonada and I personally was not impressed but I had friends that liked it. The mangos wasn't ripe and it tasted like they had pineapples in it instead of mangos. I wasn't a fan of the sweet and savory taste of it. It had a bit of sweet, sour, salty, and spicy at the same time, which was not my jam. But if you are into that, this may be for you. Hope that helps.

They have a great canary section, and they have great prices on them. I usually come in here when I want a sandwich, they make them right in the back and they're cheap. I believe the sandwiches range from 3-5.00, they're so damn good too. This is my sandwich go to place, I usually get an Italian. The workers here are also so very nice, they do speak English as well so no worries anyone can go in here. The location is right on a corner so parking can be tight, there's a small parking lot for about 6 cars but they share it with a barber shop and Metro. Check it out!

They explained all the different types of meat we had gone down to buy chorizo and they explained the different kinds they had and the taste of it, the mild and the hot and they also explained the other things they had was chorizo and linguiça etc., because they have that type of rest business, small meat market type of thing.
