What an amazing small business experience this place was recommended online through Facebook from a restaurant called AJ's in Attleboro, Massachusetts, and they were everything at that person said they were going to be. They were kind they were considerate they were thoughtful. They explained all the different types of meat we had gone down to buy chorizo and they explained the different kinds they had and the taste of it, the mild and the hot and they also explained the other things they had was chorizo and linguiça etc., because they have that type of rest business, small meat market type of thing. They were just such a nice group of people. I look forward to going back down there again. I go to this store quite often, however I cannot overlook this issue that has occurred. I normally purchase hamburger in 2 separate orders, either 1.5 lbs each or 2lbs each and once in a blue moon 3lbs each. I just pulled out my hamburger from the freezer. The counter person tied both together and placed the price on the one bag. I noticed it stated 6.61 lbs with a sticker price of 32.98. I knew something was wasn't right because from looking at it they were not consistent with the weight stated. I brought my scale out and sure enough it was just a hair over 4 lbs. for both bags. I wouldn't have noticed this error because typically I buy a large amount of meats for the freezers. Please people check the weights. This is not a good way of making extra money. They made over $10 for this mishap. From now on, I'm weighing everything same day before it gets frozen. Very disappointed that there is dishonesty occurring at this well known store. read more

I was born in Fall River, and most of my relatives live in MA. The only chourico we eat is Michael's! Nothing else compares; I may be biased because this is what I grew up eating. Chourico & peppers, chourico & egg sandwiches, portuguese soup (chourico, kale & potatoes), chourico & fava bean stew, etc. Whenever I or my parents go visit, we always bring back a cooler full of their hot chourico, marinated pork, finger peppers, pork marinade, and such. The chourico used to be a little bit fattier years ago (which I liked), but that's ok. It's still the BEST!!! read more

Best prices on Portuguese products. Chourico and linguica are much cheaper here than the grocery stores. They have an extensive selection of Portuguese meat products, wines and other food items. I had them ship chourico and linguica to a relative that recently moved to California with no problems and he really appreciated the taste of home. The staff here has always been super friendly. Although I am a quarter portuguese and know the basics, I don't have an extensive knowledge of Portuguese products and they have been very helpful. I have been been driving from cape cod to michaels for years. Nothing can compare to their fresh lean chourico meat. I have had gaspars and it's loaded with globules of fat. No thanks. I just recently purchased two packages of chourico. I lived in this area all my life and enjoy my chourico. I tried to fry both packages and found nothing but fat. Any meat feel apart. the fat was totally hard fat. I have read a lot of the reviews and I am sorry I can't agree. Maybe this was a bad batch but expensive loss. read more
