It's a cute little storefront that's a pretty good size once you get in the door. There were about six people seated at the bar when I walked in. It's pretty clearly a good locals hangout. Everyone was super friendly and one of the gents at the bar ordered shots and offered me one. Well ok! A shot of tequila with a pineapple juice chaser is new to me but pretty damn good! I went with four beers tasters: Darkness on the Edge of Town milf. Oops I mean mild! The mild was that with a nice malty flavor. Arriba Arriba deep south lager is pretty non-offensive. Easy drinking and great in a hot day like today. Don Gets to Name It Amber had a flavor to it that was reminiscent of allspice. I'm not sure it was an addition or if it was the yeast. It was pretty pronounced though. SWPFTD would be pleased with this one. Holdens Hangover rye IPA was a good IPA. I got the rye flavor out of it which I like. I enjoyed the beers and the people at this little brewery. What was really cool about this spot was the karaoke. The crowd was very into it, and there were some fantastic singers participating. We parked in front of the restaurant, and were seated immediately. The inside is small, but they also have a nice little patio area if the weather is right. We chose to sit inside this time. The bar is nice as well. They were busy but the food and drinks come out quickly, so that helps. I started with the signature drink according to the server. It was called the lucky bucket, and it's a spicy strawberry margarita. It definitely has a kick to it, with good flavor. I ordered the special, which was a chicken Parmesan sandwich, made with a homemade marinara sauce, mozzarella and Parmesan cheese, and banana peppers. It was delicious!!! My husband had the fried chicken club sandwich. They originally brought out the wrong sandwich for him, so the picture is of a different sandwich, but once corrected, he said it was good. He ate the other half of my sandwich and liked it better! We also shared the classic fries and a slice of the vanilla cheesecake with homemade berry compote for dessert. Great service.
