Unbelievably bad service here. After waiting 45 minutes there was still not even water and no order taken. After being there for a couple hours, they then were forced to admit they had forgotten to even make 3 of the orders. How is this place even in business? On top of that, the pizza was not good and the forgotten pizza order was delivered to the table in a box. Seriously? This place won't be there long. This is just inexcusable. If I could give zero or a half star, I would. Never waste your money at this house of pizza and service horrors. read more

I ordered the supreme pizza today for lunch along with a side of breadsticks. The breadsticks were excellent and what saved a star or two for this occasion. The pizza on the other hand wasn't as pleasant. Some of the ingredients were good, but I mostly felt like I was eating salt on bread with hints of good ingredients hidden within. Would be willing to give them another shot, but it will be a while. read more

pizza was burnt. cheese toast was so burnt it was not edible. only the middle of the pizza was salvageabl. Spankeys used to have really good pizza. i can't imagine giving a customer a pizza that looked like this. really disappointed. read more

Outstanding service! We went on a Saturday night and although it was busy and bustling, we were seated right away. Our server, Joey, was amazing. Friendly, attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. We ordered the breadsticks with cheese and marinara dipping sauces. The sticks were light and airy and BIG! We found out that they are hand rolled fresh daily and that they also make their own pizza crust and rolls for sandwiches (all different recipes).The Stromboli pizza was the star! Light, flaky, crisp wafer thin crust, flavorful sauce, mozzarella cheese, sausage crumbles, red onion slivers (not chopped) and banana pepper slices. DIVINE! We brought the extended family (10 people) here for lunch and had not only a great meal but a great time as well. The service was excellent and you could tell that the food was thoughtfully prepared and cooked with love. The cheese bread was amazing and the pizza crust was light, crispy, and delicious. The sandwiches were huge and they had a wide variety of vegan options which made accommodating the needs of our large diverse group a breeze. The kids stayed entertained playing the video games in the back and the music they had on was also on point. We will definitely be back the next time we are in Evansville. read more

Spankey's has become our new favorite place for pizza on the Westside. The crust is the thin, cracker crust that is popular in Evansville, but what sets Spankey's apart is the toppings. I have never had a veggie pizza with the variety and volume of toppings. We are also big fans of the 5 Cheese, which is absolutely loaded. The breadsticks are also excellent. Be aware that they are take-out and delivery only: no dine-in option at this point. As it seems that Turoni's is getting more and more expensive, Spankey's is now our pizza of choice in Evansville. read more

Really enjoyed this place. My wife and I were in town on an anniversary trip and ended up here for dinner. The pizza was excellent, even if it wasn't my preferred style of crust, it was very good. The atmosphere was great and we even got the chance to chat with the owner, who was super nice. Definitely recommended for a casual pizza joint experience. read more

Evansville is flush with those claiming to have the best pizza. Consider your quest over. Spankey's is by far the best pizza your are going to put in your mouth. High quality toppings and that oh so perfect Evansville style crispy crust. When I make the trip into Evansville I do two things: 1. Get a Spankey's Supreme 2. See my parents (in that order) Call and order a Spankey's pizza now. And pick up a shirt while you are there. I love this restaurant! Delicious thin crust pizza, amazing cheesy bread. The staff is wonderful (our waitress from our first visit remembered us over a month later on our second visit, and stopped by our table to say hello even though we had a different waitress that time) and ensure you are having a great experience.
