On top of that, shops seem to be renovating or popping up almost every month, so it feels like a new experience each time we visit. They also have fresh bakeries and desserts to take home, which is always tempting. Prices are great with a membership card, and every trip feels like a Costco-style stock-up run. Just remember to keep your grocery receipt handy since carts are checked at the exit.

So we went and it indeed had everything. The longest line was for Grill City. In all honesty, I feel like Grill City is a bit overhyped. The kare kare didn't taste like my father-in-law's. He makes the best kare kare. But you can't beat home cooking. Too bad my FIL is in CA. The liempo was good, but how can you really mess up grilled pork belly? However, I did like Sizzle. Their bangus sisig on a grilled platter was so delicious! I was jealous of my husband's pick. I also really loved the items at Valerio. Reminds me of Panorama City in CA. They didn't sell three ladies rice paper brand, no vegetarian hoisin sauce. The prices were okay. The aisle with the tofu was warm unknown if the soybean products were chilled enough for purchase. They did sell San San Tofu green soymilk, block tofu, and other products. The bakery section was non-existent. I managed to get bean sprout marinated snack that I'll try in my spring roll. The produce was well organized, and there were several employees restocking the shelves as we shopped. For this week, I wanted to get ingredients to make California rolls, Banh Mi, Beef Pho, Spring Rolls, and Hot Pot, and was able to find all of the ingredients I needed here except for the French baguette for the banh mi. However, since it's right across the street from an HEB, it wasn't a major inconvenience. We also picked up some pantry items like snacks, tea, and instant ramen, and they had a really good selection of items to choose from. Overall, I'm happy to have anotrrrhueuoyroyoutoutoor Asian grocery store in the Katy area to choose from, and the prices are comparable to 99 Ranch and Hmart. Since they recently opened, the store is not super crowded right now either so it's a great spot to do some weekend shopping for the time being!
