I came to your pawn shop on el cajon Bl. , was looking for a guitar. You didn't give me time to look it over or play it as you said you were closing. That's the 2nd visit. I said I had 200.00 and I was looking for a Gibson. You said this is the only one I have. It's 350.00. I can't go any lower. I got it, but my friend came over and it's very clear the top of the neckstock is cracked and someone tried to fix it and paint it, and the paint is a different color. Are you going to exchange this for a different guitar? I will come up there this week as I talked to Seth and he said Tom is a nice guy, he will do something for you. Tom .I'm 70 and I just want a good playing guitar to have something to do. I'm on S.S. and I'm disabled. Please do the right thing. Chris. Nice and very helpful. I checked a few places out to sell my t.v of course i'm not going to get what its worth they have to resell it but the other place i called was trying to give me way less. They didn't seem happy to see me as I came in with a smile on my face. I wanted to sell my Nikon D5200 camera and I asked for $300. With an annoyed look they told me "Nope" and told me to sell it myself. They also said my camera was cheaper than the offer I asked for and said $75 was it's worth. I searched online and a USED body of the camera alone is worth $230 not including the lens I had one which was worth more as well. Would not visit again. read more

A rare pawn shop that has a heart. These guys are great and much more fair than most others. It's a smaller establishment but lots of great items. Times are hard right now and I felt a little embarrassed to have to take an item in to them, but they were very nice and made me feel comfortable about it. I would recommend them to anyone. Got myself into a jamb and needed money saw Spankys add on CL about large collateral loans went to the store total man cave but when I looked at all the Rolex's and Diamonds I couldn't believe the quality merchandise that was in the case any way I showed Tom my engagement ring and asked about selling it or borrowing money he asked me what I needed and I told him first months rent and a deposit Tom told me that I should probably just borrow the money and think about things before selling it and offered me a $2500 loan I took his advice and I am sooooo glad I did my ex and I have worked things out and I now still have my ring and now just go by Spankys to see what kind of treasures I can find.... read more

Came in to sell some jewelry. I don't remember the mans name that helped me but I think he was the owner. He was brutally honest on the price and told me I could get more online, like ebay. He knew he would lose the sale but wanted me to get the best deal I could. That's reputable and I will be back. read more

I was in a big hurry and needed a man's wedding band - size 12.5 or larger. (Most jewelry stores only carry up to size 12) I called around and talked to Tom. He was awesome! By the time I arrived at the store, he had already put all the rings in the appropriate size together for me to choose from.
