I returned recently to get therapy after rotator cuff surgery. PT Mike continues to provide amazing therapy in a professional manner. One on one therapy, explains everything on the treatment plan. This office specializes in manual PT, no handoffs to aides or machines. Mike is patient, kind and interested. Karen in the office is kind and accommodating. Sparacio Physical Therapy has a unique and highly effective treatment regime which involves manual methods of treatment. I have found this approach to be more effective for me than just using exercise machines and other equipment as the focus of therapy. This is by far the best pt office I have ever been to! Let me tell you that I had been suffering from neck and back pain for years, but no more than a few visits with Mike and Camron and I finally feel like I can get back to my normal, pain-free life. I was truly amazed with the service I received since I had previously tried out another pt office with no results. The difference between Sparacio and the other office was that I actually got continuity of care and wasn't handed over to an aide or assistant that didn't even work on me. I have been going to Sparacio PT for one month now for a shoulder SLAP tear. I never thought that PT could help me return to functional status with a shoulder tear without surgery but Karen had been a godsend. I was recommended to Sparacio by my neurologist for my headaches and neck pain. I met with Mike initially, and he took his time explaining everything that he saw and how we can work to improve it. I love Sparacio for the fact that they are so hands-on. They give you your dedicated time for your session and then let you take your time to perform your exercises (with supervision). Every session, I was taught additional exercises, and Mike instructed me on what I can do and buy for home to continue my workouts and stretches outside of PT. Mike is excellent- very professional and knowledgeable and always makes sure that what you have been taught is being performed correctly. Mike is also great because he constantly adds to your routine as he sees you improving and mastering exercises. My schedule then got crazy, and I then spent a lot of time with Karen- who is absolutely amazing and so sweet. She brought in a lot of good energy, and with her extra background in yoga, she was able to show me some tension relieving stretches for my neck that I can do at home on my own. All in all, I've had a great experience at Sparacio and cannot recommend them more! My headaches, flexibility, and neck pain have definitely improved and gotten better. I feel stronger, and I have gained a better sense of awareness of my posture, and I will continue to work on my exercises, stretches, and strength. Thank you so much Mike & Karen! I visited this office first when I broke my ankle in 2014 and came back in 2015 when I started having neck problems. I was treated by 4 of the therapist's--all were excellent and friendly but Mike Marchiselli is my favorite. He applies the right amount of pressure during massage and provides effective exercises. What makes him stand out is his friendly, calm, and caring manner. I highly recommend this office and Mike in particular. read more

I was referred to Sparacio PT by my neurologist after I told him how poorly my spinal fusion therapy was handled by Bethpage PT. Although I don't live in the area, it is 100% worth my while to drive 30 minutes to Sparacio PT in Glen Cove or if necessary, 40 minutes to his Manhasset facility twice per week. I have been a patient here for a few months after extensive back surgery that unveiled a diagnose of cancer. Both of my conditions are being treated here at Sparacio PT. During these months, I have witnessed every patient ( in my time slot) that has come in with some sort of pain or ailment get discharged as another "happy camper". Each session includes intense hands-on manipulation targeted to the affected area (typically my spine), a series of exercises geared toward strengthening my spine and overall movement, and a cool down period. An entire session never fails to be performed and monitored by one designated PT. I swear they must have eyes at the back of their heads during those few times when I think I am working on my own at the exercise bar. In addition, it is a treat to always get answers to my questions in layman's terms! On top of offering superb care and attention, the atmosphere never fails to be upbeat and relaxing. The staff is always helpful with scheduling convenient times. Truly a pleasure to make the trek along my long road to recovery! read more
